The vertical strip through the dress ruins the lay of it. Gives it a roller coaster look especially when she sucks in her gut. She would look okay if it wasn’t there

I voted no, not because she’s fat (she isn’t) but because that dress is freaking hideous and doesn’t flatter her body at all.
Dress is tiny bit too tight but I still like it! Her face is stunning though. Perfect to me!

I’m sure it wouldn’t kill her to wear the next size up – not sure about the neckline either, I don’t think that’d be very flattering on anyone, actually. She has a really good figure, and usually looks absolutely stunning, but this dress just doesn’t work. I doubt it’d work on anyone though, saying that!
In my opinion, these body-con dresses look awful on practically everyone. It’s the triumph of so-called fashion over classic, flattering cuts and a bit of individuality. I suspect women wear them to ‘prove’ how thin they are, but the dresses’ style appears to have a life of its own and sabotages even the slimmest of figures. I guess its not Blake’s fault if the wardrobe people told her to wear this though. Personally, I would have said ‘No way!’

He spent several years working under pat fields at SATC, but he needs to realize that theses girls are a little shaplier than SJP and you cant throw them into anything, atleast without spanx

I usually shy away from criticizing anyone’s figure on this site, but I really just do not like that dress. I don’t get the tight-band-aid-dress trend, because it’s only suited for a small, small percentage of the female population. Real women can barely get by wearing that stuff! Blake has a great figure, but this dress is wearing HER!
Tired of those dresses but yeah she looks pretty good in it. I think she is the Mischa Barton body type that is going to have to watch her weight in about 5 yrs.
Lindsey Lohan could wear it better. It doesn’t suit her body type. I think she looks a little bit like Kate Hudson in the face and hair but Kate is usually much thinner.

ew the stylist should be reprimanded for this!!! she has a nice body but this is a disaster. she has a slightly pearish shape and i think she looks better in tops that are more open and show her nice implants which help balance her out.

Frankly I think most of you are being silly, I think she actually looks very nice in that dress. Most women have these thing you know called curves, and there’s these things called bones that are part of body structure too. Those “lumps” most of you are commenting on are from the shape of her rib cage and hips along with the tissue over top that. She doesn’t have rolls. Some of you need some basic biology lessons I think. Its a sad comment on society when a very beautiful girl like this with a healthy body get such negative feedback.

i think everyone is insane. it shows off how much an hourglass she is. Yes—paris hilton has a flatter stomach to pull this off, but it doesn’t matter. this dress is meant to show off CURVES. She is perfect for that— hips, boobs, small waist, long legs. super flat stomachs are unnatural, as one generally needs a body fat percentage lower than is healthy for moist adult women to achieve it. her’s is reasonably flat and femme.

Blake Lively has a slamming body! She’s 5′8″ by the way. I’m so tired of people saying she’s 5′10″! That dress is just too tight. God, I can’t imagine walking in it. Poor girl. In the first picture it looks like she is trying to act. She still hasn’t improved. I like Blake, but she’s just a horrible actress. Easily the worst on Gossip Girl.

She’s paid to look slammin though. I bet she’s bloated and PMSing. I once read she has hot lemon water and all these other tricks to keep her energy up with a low cal diet. I this was just a bad day, and it looks like she knows it too. Usually though, I’m a big fan of her body and body type.

I agree with KT that it’s nice to see someone who actually has some interesting curves in a dress like this, rather than a stick thin boring figure. Again, I might also be a bit bias as I am a similar height and build, but I really don’t think she’s as big as some people are making her out to be!
the bulges that people are seeing are actually her hip bones because they stick out. because she is SKINNY

The stylist for GG – Eric can’t recall his surname – is not doing a very good job this season. I blame him, not Blake, because she is a naturally gorgeous girl with a fantastic figure. Posters calling her “fat” etc. should be aware of that fact that Blake is a role model to many teenage girls, who probably visit this site and read these comments.

She has a lovely figure, but she must have done something to make her stylist seriously hate her. I’m not one for plastic surgery, but in this particular case I would have to say that her new nose does her face more justice.
I seem to be in the minority here, but I love how the dress looks on her. She looks SO womanly. Her hourglass/pear shape makes me feel like Wylie Coyote (eyes popping out my head!)
