I think she looks great, I also really respect the company for ‘respecting her privacy’ but at the same time, pregnant women look beautiful and maybe they should show it. Either way, she looks fab, her legs look slightly less toothpick-like than usual, particularly in the second photo, which I’m always pleased to see

it’s cool that she’s still working when she’s pregnant.. she still has a gorgeous face, and i’m sure she’s not showing that much..the first and last shots are the best, the middle one is very awkward & makes her look bigger than she is.
Second picture is awful, the other are OK, what exactly do they mean by saying “respect her privacy” she doesn’t have to work she has enough money, is this greed? i don’t like it.

i don’t understand, don’t they ALWAYS retouch photos? And I think she looks a bit cross-eyed in the last photo. Other than that, whatever, I could take it or leave it, it’s not reality.
I dunno, I think the bump might’ve been kind of artsy-cute. It’s not like she needs retouching, anyways, but whatever floats her boat.
She has a great body and she has the perfect face. she has not the face of a bimbo like all the rest. she makes the difference

I was just looking at these pics on another site. I think its photoshop gone horribly wrong. Her leg looks freakish in the second picture. Any if they are respecting her privacy why are they issuing statements about the shoot (and the retouching)?

Aren’t they saying that they photoshopped out her pregnant belly? Looks that way to me . . . And if so, that’s kinda weird. Guess they didn’t want a pregnant woman for the look they’re going for.

Now, HOWEVER, I do NOT particularly want to see her at like 8 or 9 months pregnant and in a bikini ….like the recent pics of Nicole Richie we’ve seen in some of the tabloids lately. And as well as the pics we saw of Demi Moore posing nude waay back when she was about 8 or 9 months preggers with one of her daughters. The baby bump is cute especially early on in 1st trimester…BUT if I see Gisele practically unclothed at the end (8 or 9 months pregnant)…I just personally don’t want to see “THAT MUCH”.

LOL – models these days are LUCKY. they can still do print ads while they’re pregnant, and it just gets photoshopped out… not a bad deal!

She looks stunning with more meat on her! Her face looks really pretty filled out. I’m not a fan of her too thin–never saw the appeal–but this really does it for me. Don’t go back to being scary-skinny post baby!
Of course they are retouched! Every pic you see in print is retouched people. And how accurate is her body AT ALL in any of these pics considering her “bump” was photo-shopped away? So this is pretty much a fictitious Gisele in front of us.

She does have incredible bone structure and is very striking. I personally think she is gorgeous but can also see why she may not be to others tastes. She is certainly not classically beautiful or pretty, but very unique and striking.

Usually I like her strong features, although I wouldn’t choose her face over my own. But here they made her look really plain! A bit disappointing, actually. I saw a photo shoot by Nino Munoz of her wearing thigh-high boots where she looked truly stunning, something to do with her hairstyle I think.
I’m sure her body, even though she’s pregnant, is lovely, long-limbed and lithe in real life but photos from professional shoots should never be judged as reality imo. Retouching photos is way too ingrained as standard practice to allow for that.
I just don’t find her to be pretty or beautiful; agree w/ poster who said she kinda has a ‘man’ face, perhaps ’strong’ features~ I don’t find her appealing at all, but she is tall and thin.

I think she’s adorable…I’ve always loved gisele cause she’s a great role model (body and personality)she’s naturally skinny,healthy and very fit…she also loves food(everyone know it in the fashion industry)! she seems really down to earth also if she’s the most famous super model. love her!

It all seems a bit strange as some other people have noted. Why choose her to model and then photoshop out her bump? Why would Giselle agree to model if it is such a ‘wonderful and personal’ time for her?
The photos really don’t look spectacular anyway, so it was probably all a bit of a waste of time.
nnicole- i don’t think she made an official confirmation yet, but the company’s statement (in italics) pretty much implies that she’s pregnant and that her photos were photoshopped to conceal that

im sure they got rid of her bump because she probably doesnt want to expose it just yet, she’s not even confirmed she is pregnant so why would she want to exploit her bump already – i dont respect the company for releasing that little privacy statement because they just said that to get more publicity for the pictures
I find this rather bizarre. Why not just show the bump? If it’s so freaking wonderful then surely photoshopping it out is the last thing they should be doing.

Looking at it again, the pictures are very weird. I mean what the hell is she doing in the second or the third pic ? grabbing herself ? I’ve never liked this woman, but could understand why other people liked her, now, I sort of can’t.

A bimbo face is a beautiful face but so common…Many of the girls in the Hollywood industry have the same features and sometimes you cant say who is who. How can this be good? I think Gisele could become ‘commonly’ beautiful but she cleverly chose to differ…
This is ridiculous! Photoshop her belly? Is she ashamed of being pregnant or something? Why cant she just flaunt it? She totally lost an appeal for me. Sorry, but she looks like someone in drag. Her figure to me is too skinny. Models to me with great fugures and somewhat resemble a woman are better. Tyra Banks, cindy Crawford . . .those models have shape.

Seriously, with all the photoshopping and airbrushing these days, anyone can look like perfect. She’s an excellent example of this.
The second pose is a little awkward looking with her leg out like that and toe pointed. Her butt looks more muscular than I would have though though.

I usually love the way she looks but can’t find anything redeeming in these photos at all. I don’t like her face or body in them.
Why use all the tools to photoshop a pregnant tummy when you could have gotten someone else with a better tummy to not photoshop?
Then why not use the word “common”, rather than “bimbo”? All the Hollywod actresses who look alike aren’t beautiful, just common. But i see what you mean, she could have chosen to make herself beautiful, but chose not to, such as Tori Spelling, Sarah Jessica Parker, Rumer Willis, etc. Though that still doesn’t change the fact that she has an unattractive face-different doesn’t always equal beautiful. There are some actresses who are beautiful, yet don’t look like all the rest.
I FIND THIS STRANGE AND CONFUSING. wtf- removing a pregnant stomach? doesn’t that distort the entire outfit- the point of the modeling? just use someone else, GEEZ- why not just stick her head on some other body if you’re going to chop off a belly?!
