I hear that pregnancy destroys some parts of the abdominal wall muscles and theres little you can do besides fixing it with scopic surgery
if you look closely enough you can see the very bottom part of her stomach is still a little saggy in the last picture.. don’t get me wrong though, I don’t mean it in a negative way, I do think she looks amazing for her age and given the fact that she’s given birth and stuff..

Good for her for putting work and effort into losing the pregnancy weight instead of taking easy ways out. On the road to being ultra buff and fit again. Go Gwen!
I think it looks like she has has a tummy tuck. The belly button is in the wrong place. I just wish celebs were honest about the lengths they go to so us ordinary folks don’t think if we just exercised more after we had children we could look as good.
She’s always looked great & still does. She had one of the best pairs of legs I’ve seen.
It takes discipline to be fit, pregnant or not.

Thanks Rian I saw here in concert July 2nd and thought she looked terrific.
That last one is just a bad pic or it was altered because she is super fit in person and her stomach looks great she wore a lot of little outfits and her body looked good in all of them. She also has a lot of energy it honestly was one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen.

Anyway, I like Gwen she looks fabulous. I know people mean no wrong when they say : “she looks good for a mom” or “oh she looks fabulous for someone who had kids” but I hate when people tell me that.I’m proud of being a mom of one kid but why can’t people just say that I look good why do they have to say that I look good FOR a mom (looks like they mean that I only look good for that category). Sorry fo this “little” rant but needed to get this out of my chest .
Alyssa — yes, pregnancy not only stretches the muscles to oblivion but the skin also. Imagine a balloon after it has been blown up several times….it never will be the same.
I believe Gwen has had a tummy tuck…..especially since her stomach is so tight now, and she got so big during her last pregnancy. It’s one thing to lose all the fat…..but you cannot ‘tighten’ skin no matter how much you diet and exercise.
I like muscular more and more. wtf?

I don’t necessarily think she’s had a tummy tuck. You can obviously see how fit her ab muscles are. She does have a bit of that loose skin you get after having a couple kids. I can do a thousand crunches a day and although my stomache looks toned, the loose skin stays.
she has suffered from eating disorder/unnatural eating habits to maintain skinny, she has talk about it better. So i think she has dip back into this habits to get this body

You can have a six pack after children without having a tuck.. Its called diet, exercise and a genetics. I laugh how people automatically think surgery, while these people also have the money and the time to work out and have someone cook for them everyday. You would think by some of these peoples posts that your body automatically goes to hell after kids. Most women I know today are in better shape in there 40’s then they were in there 20’s and 30’s.

Very fit. Her face is quirky. She isn’t a beautiful girl but she makes the most of herself by making herself look like a cartoon character or a gangsters moll.

The “looks good for her age” comment makes us think that just teenagers can look stunning, and if you take a look in the beach many teenage girls already have celullite. No wonder 30 and 40 year old women start getting everything done so early in their lives!!

Saw her in Dallas the end of May. She looks awesome!!! Not scary skinny, but very healthy thin and physically fit. You could tell she does a lot of strength training. There is no way she could gain weight with all the dancing and jumping around she does on stage. I also loved what she wore on stage. As a soon to be 30 yr old, I have no problem wearing tank tops. She is the best! I also loved that she had Kingston on the side of the stage with his nanny so he could be with her during the No Doubt concert. Best concert EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

This is all I’ve heard about from people who have gone to their shows this summer – Gwen’s six pack. The guys think it’s gross, the girls are jealous.
saw No Doubt live a couple weeks ago. Lemme say, they still have it, and Gwen is a BEAST!
I totally envy her stomach! Even after two pregnancies, she’s managed to get a tone tummy and it’s not like she’s that young anymore so it has been double the work to get her stomach to look like that! Good job Gwen!
She looks good; really in shape!! The hair style, however, is ugly.
Her pants are slung low, and I don’t see any scars from a tuck down there (which there definitely would be had she gotten a tuck)… nor would there be that loose skin in the last picture (if you’re paying for a tuck, why leave any looseness at all?).
I think she achieved her amazing body from old-fashioned hard work. She’s mentioned that she was a chubby teen who joined the swim team in high school to lose weight and has kept in shape since. She must be used to keeping a clean diet and exercising quite a bit. And it shows!

My husband thought her body was rockin at the Dallas concert. He loved her muscle definition. He is not one for the anorexic, skin and bones type. We were both impressed by her voice despite her jumping, running, and dancing around. We would have bought tickets to the KC show, but I had to work the next day. Paramore opened for them and we couldn’t stand her screeching. She also looks great in the face for her age. She has definitely taken great care of herself.
We also liked the new songs from their upcoming album they are putting out. I can’t remember when it is being released but I keep watching for it on itunes. They pretty much played every classic No Doubt song. It was over 2 solid hours of music and a extra long encore!!

I had my one baby at 40, and now at 44 my stomach looks flat and toned – that is just the way it looks, it don’t have to do anything special to it. I’m Gwen works out, she looks very fit, don’t get me wrong. But she is FAR from old. *snicker* And I still have that same little bit of loose skin.

I just saw No Doubt in concert on Thursday night and Gwen looked incredible. The first two songs I was just in awe of how beautiful she is and what a crazy body she has. Her legs are so lean and long and her abs are to die for. She is so high energy on stage, her stage show alone must be a crazy work out for her.
WOw~ she looks amazing for any age/situation. Agree w/ poster who wondered why people say she looks good, for a mom, or for her age. She looks fab, no matter what. I know lots of moms who totally rock.

If you are in good shape when you get pregnant and don’t go crazy with food because you are pregnant, it isn’t that difficult to lose the weight. If you have strong abs beforehand it can help reduce the stretching of the skin that leads to the sagging skin.

I knew she would end up all toned and muscular. She sets a very high standard for herself. She is starting to get a ‘madonna’ look with all those muscles though. Maybe she should take a leaf out of madonnas book and ‘reinvent’ herself because she looks like she is stuck in some sort of time warp in these pictures. She might have been trying to prove something I think.

She had one outfit change that was totally different from this one. Had a cute mod style checkered dress, very current and it showed off her lovely legs
She’s pear shaped and has no trouble keeping her upper body fit. Her lower body is another story, notice she wears baggy pants most of the time.

I am sooo jealous! She had Zuma at about the same time as I had my baby, and I look nowhere near as slim as she does. Boo-hoo!
Her bellybutton is not in the wrong spot, having muscle and being fit does that, it moves higher up! I don’t think she has had a tummy tuck or any other surgery, exercising does pull your skin back to the muscle, i know this first hand, i got even my boobs back with the help of tracy anderson dvd’s! I think it’s hard work and determination why Gwen looks so great, well done her!
So I just want to say, it’s easy to assume that she’s had a tummy tuck for a few different reasons. I thought the same thing at first, but after reading everyone’s comments I realized that she’s always been in great shape, and that she DOES have a bit of loose skin so she probably didn’t, but it’s easy to assume and that does not mean jealousy
