She looks almost the same weight-wise… but perhaps not quite as thin as she was in the Twilight movie? What do you all think?

I’ve said it before, she has a unique beauty. And she’s very slender–it’s not easy to look slim in a small t-shirt and leather pants like that.

i don’t think she looks too different body-wise, but her role as bella just isn’t comparable to her character here.

I like her better with red hair but she looks cut and fit. Maybe a slight gain but not by much.
She’s definitely not as thin. I saw a candid of her in some trashy rag of a magazine, and in the candid, you could noticeably observe a weight gain in her arms and/or tummy butt area. I think she misses R.Patz and is emotionally eating! Keep it together girl!….or you’ll get a fat ass.

LOVE this girl! Her face is so pretty. If she were actually a girly girl and was into getting her hair and make up done, she’s be stunning. I think she looks hot even all sweaty with that awful hair. I’m definitely gonna see that movie ^_^

People keep talking about how aweful she looks, but do people realize she’s doing a movie about Joan Jett? That’s why the movie is called The Runaways.
For those that criticise this girl, commmm onnnn! You cant be serious? She is drop dead gorgeous, she has a stunningly beautiful edgy face, a naturally slim body. She is rising up the ranks in hollywood at a rapid pace and you dont get to do that being fugly. She is gorgeous
I’m surprised — I thought that she would have lost weight to play Joan Jett, who was and is skinny. The only redeeming thing about about this biopic is Dakota Fanning. Now that girl can act.
She looks chunky. She seems to just gain and gain as she gets older, she used to look really skinny as a child and all through her teens, that was just her body type. I think she’s overweight for her bonde structure. She looks like she went on a drinking binge or something bleh. The hair is gross too, she doesn’t have a pretty face either…they fixed her up for Twilight that’s all. I was always shocked they picked her as Bella she’s so manish. Alexis Bledel would have been amazing..sigh.

I loved Joan jett’s look- they got the clothing right for the film, but this girl doesn’t really look like her- Jett was way hotter at the same age. . Oh well I guess I would still wanna see the film.
I the hair is the worst part, but of course it’s for the movie. So I’ll wait and see what she looks like after the movie then decide if she looks good or not… Normally she seems pretty average.

Her weight gain looks obvious to me. I don’t see how people can think she looks the same. Think back to Twilight, and look at her now – I promise you, there is a difference.

IDK what the Runaways is about, but it looks like with her gloomy attitude, she’ll fit it perfectly.
She needs to work out, not lose weight, just tone up a bit. She has a nice body shape, and great long lean legs, but if she took better care of herself she’d look a lot better. I don’t think she’s fat, maybe a bit skinny-fat…
She always seems to be hunched over with her knees overly bent for simple walking. I don’t think this is for the movie, because you see her getting gas or doing other off camera things crouched down as though she has osteoporousis (sp?). Aside from that, she’s lovely. Take a ballet class Kristen.

Know that she has her horrid haircut/hairstyle so choppy looking and the clothing for the part that she is playing (Joan Jett) in her current movie she’s working on. I did not think that she was “all that” in her “Twilight Movie”, though, either. She’s just sort of a normal average looking young woman but not an outstandingly pretty girl. Perhaps she was “made up” to look less pretty than she actually is in her Twilight Movie & perhaps if we saw her made up attractively w/make-up and her hair done well…perhaps there is a pretty version of Kristen underneath?? RE: Dakota Fanning…I didn’t even recognize her in that 1st pic. Her face does look fuller or bloated or perhaps it is the angle of the camera shot they took of Dakota. Hard to believe that she’s 15 …nearly 16 now. Her little sis, Elle is every bit as adorable as Dakota when Dakota was Elle’s age. I think that Elle is 12 now. Saw a picture of Dakota on the Red Carpet in a strapless empire “A” line style dress and with very small heels like 2″ heels and she looked so grown up YET age appropritely dressed. I really hope that Dakota does NOT GET SUCKED INTO the LiLo, Mischa B, Pre-baby mama (of Harlow), Nicole Richie.

She is my girl crush. There is something so effortless about her beauty, and she’s got this sort of sexy tomboy thing going on. I like her a lot. She never tries too hard to be attractive. I mean, if you look at someone like Eva Longoria, it’s like, she’s literally got to spend 4 hrs getting ready just to look decent. Kristen Stewart appears to spend very little time on her appearence, and yet still has this unique appeal.
Usually she looks gorgeous. Not keen on her when she looks like Joan Jett. Weight’s OK, too. We saw her running on-set not long ago, here, on TSW. Maybe she’s gained muscle!

LOVE Kristen Stewart as Bella! Not digg’in her as Joan Jett. The black hair definately doesn’t look good on her. She’s trim, but soft and not toned.

But I think she carries most of her mass in her upper body. Her legs seem scrawny. But she has hips too, I think. So idk…

i love her! she’s is an amazing actress! though she is awkward and shy – it doesn’t seem to be about her body. she can think for herself. she doesn’t try to fit a particular image, she’s just herself – and she’s beautiful. her body looks like a real girl and so does she! she seems like a very smart and interesting person.

Well I said there was a difference but looking back now I’m not sure. Anyway it’s hard to tell as her hair and clothes are so distracting.
I respect that she’s dedicated enough to let herself get that, ahem, unique hairstyle. I’ve only ever heard that she’s a mediocre actress (maybe all those jealous RPatz fans talking there) but perhaps she’ll surprise us with this movie.
@progressivelements, I feel your pain. If my breasts were the size of Kristen’s I would never wear a bra again and just wear skimpy tank tops. But they’re not.
It might just be the clothes but when I saw pics of her in a tank top and shorts on the set of a movie I think she gained about 5 or 10 lbs since the first twilight movie it shows in her arms the most

They got the clothes and hair right(almost) for Joan Jett, but her body and face are too soft to play her, Joan Jett is much harder/muscular and her face is leaner. She’s got the posture down, Joan Jett has that hunched strut going on. I hope she doesn’t disgrace Joan and does her justice.

At the comic con 09 interview the other day, she was pointing at Rob’s head while he was talking in the interview, which I think was MEAN SPIRITED and RUDE. She and that ugly man face Ashley Greene was TALKING while Rob was asked another question. What happened to common courtesy? He never interrupted her, and whose remotely interested in brawny Ashley? I hope Rob is over this mannish bitch Kshit, she’s not even that pretty!!!
