There is absolutely no reason to dress like that for a 15 mile casual bike ride. He looks ridiculous, like a tour de france wannabe. He’s a hottie tho, I’ll give you that.

I live is Europe and almost all road cyclist dress in the correct technical gear.
You don’t have to be a pro racer to wear the correct attire.

Actually, all serious cyclists in every area I’ve lived in dress like that to ride. Plus, he’s gorgeous.
I don’t think he is attractive. I don’t see all the hype.

15 miles is quite short for bike trip, but good for him doing this.
He is a very serious cyclist and rides to keep in shape for car racing. He is heading a 100 mile bike ride this fall in Maine to raise money for the Cancer Help and Hope center he founded there. He
is a totally awesome man and HOT HOT HOT!!!
Most avid cyclist actually dress like Patrick is dressed. Nothing nerdy or strange about it. Cycling becomes a passion for many who ride, and is a fantastic way to keep in shape without the pounding of say, running.
Anyway, he seems like a decent human. I actually loved him in a silly little movie I saw on Lifetime TV called, “Lucky Seven!”
He’s nice looking, but I wouldn’t look twice at him in person. I guess it’s an age thing…

OMG people, i am cyclist and i know alot of cyclists, one that is currently in the tour de France and believe me EVERYONE i know, pro or not wears a full kit whether they are cycling 3okm or 150km. Leave the man alone!! Pathetic.

Here in Reno, majority of cyclists wear full gear… Pretty normal I would say, especially when in training. Only casual cyclists like myself dress casually. i.e. shorts and tee

Eh, cyclists from novice to pro wear shorts and jerseys like that. The bigger problem is that the bike fit is all wrong. How does a man drop all that cash on a great bike and gear not get the bike fit right?
