At least she kept the weight off for 2 years! Average yo-yoing…. I think I have the same body type. When she gains, she gains pretty proportionally everwhere.

Well she looks slightly below the average weight of an average American girl the same age as her…like below 150 pounds.
Persephone I agree with you. I am the same age as her and I have friends I have grown up with whom are heavier than her. She wouldn’t be considered to be heavy at all irl. Its just than in Hollywood she would be considered to be on the “heavier side”.
Her legs look quite slim in the third picture, but her arms look beefy in the second picture. I will always have a soft spot for this girl. God knows why.
Just because she is average weight for being in her 20’s doesn’t make it healthy or right.
Her face is pretty but that is it. How does anyone let themselves gain so much weight? I could never let myself gain so much after it is so hard to lose it!

I noticed she tends to gain weight in her arms – but I think she looks quite healthy, and still very pretty.
Not my favorite body, but at least she looks happy! So many skinny stars just look miserable. It’s nice to finally see someone with a REAL smile on her face!

ouch at the ‘looks like a cow’…this is prety much what my body looks like, only my arms are a little less mushy and my thighs a little more. i’m 5′6 and 130, and i think every doctor on earth would agree that this is a perfectly healthy weight..i may not be skinny enough for some of you, but im happy.
I think she has a really pretty face, but I’ve noticed when she gains weight, she mostly gains it on her upper body.
Pretty legs and pretty face, the rest is way too chubby.
The comments about her being “HUGE or a “COW” are completely disgusting.
She weighs, what, 125-130? I think it’s really sad when someone is criticized for being their natural body weight. She is NOT OBESE.

she looks great, better than the last time we saw her. i think she is just a normal, healthy girl. she was claerly starving herself when she got down to a very low weight a few years ago. she is a good role model.

I think she looks better thinner and because she has to be on camera, she has to be a little thinner just to look normal. I DO NOT think she is a cow but she is definitely gaining. Does anyone think she really weighs 150? Seems way too high for what I see.

She looks alright, here. Obviously she’s got a little chubby, lately. But, at least here she’s dressing appropriately for her figure in these candids. Hilary’s always pretty, whether she’s fat or skinny!
She’s a little plump but she’s got such a beautiful face that she can definitely carry it off. The girl looks good and healthy.
in regards to the avg weights…you also have to take into account different peoples perceptions…GB you may be primed to notice skinny girls…so when you notice skinny girls they seem to be more prominent. Like, our brains have filters and they like to filter in the info that will prove our own thoughts correct, like if we believe ‘most girls are size blah’ then we will notice girls around that size…and thats true…height plays a BIG role!
Also Malana may notice different sizes and have different ideals/ definitions of skinny and of a perfect body…therefore that may be more prominent for her. I know myself when i am havinf ‘fat’ days it appears that all the girls around me are tiny skinny things…and if i feel sexy…then all the girls around me are not as sexy =P lol had to say it ha ha
but i think hilary looks cute =o) she has such a pretty face!

You’re right she isn’t fat at all. Remember the camera adds a little plus we’re comparing her to the stick figures we normally see on this site. She looks like she’s at a totally healthy weight.
And btw, does anyone think she could possibly be bulimic? I just say that b/c of how her weight seems to yoyo. I’ve struggled w/ it for years and my weight seems to yo-yo like hers. Funny thing is, I’m usually at the same weight as her, so maybe that’s why I suspect it.
So, we agree she’s no longer thin or small. Umm…at least she has a smaller chance of developing osteoporosis now.

I think she is soooooooo adorable. LOVE HER. She is athletically proportioned…built like a gymnast. I didnt like her when she was super skinny.
She looks healthy and happy. And not fat at all, its not fair to keep comparing her to her 05/06 size, when she was only in her late teens and obviously punishing herself with a rigorous diet and workout regime. I say good for her!

Hey Malana, people in Poland are skinnier because it’s a different culture. America is the land of plenty, fabulous food, the most advanced science and healthcare, computer technology, tv and movies, etc. So what if people are getting heavier here, if you think Poland is better, go back there.
If Poland ever needed American help, we’d be there in a heartbeat. Will America ever need Polands help and if we did, would Poland pony up? Not likely.
OH MY GOD. You are all insane for thinking she is “above average” and “around 150lbs”!!! I see her around NYC all the time now filming Gossip Girl and let me tell you, the girl is TINY. She’s about my height, maybe an inch shorter barefoot but she generally has heels on and she looks to be a size 2-4. Maybe 115lbs? 120lbs MAX. I’m 137lbs and next to her I look like a real cow so trust me, there is NO WAY she’s 150lbs.

She has a stunning face, what I would class as a ntural beauty. It looks like she has gained, but then the 3rd picture she looks awesome.
It worries me that people see ‘FAT’ when they look at her body. Yes she’s not ”hollywood skinny”, but in all honesty who wants to live a life that means you have to adhere to that. Yes they might look nice (to some) but imagine what some of those girls/women have to go through (and deprive themselves of) on a daily basis. I’d much rather see a woman 10lbs over the ”hollywood skinny” and look healthy and happy, than a bag of bones who may fit a size 00 but looks unhappy, and will probably shorten their life in order to maintain that (naturally skinny aside.)
Hilary is the perfect role model for my daughter, and I hope to see this HEALTHY body shape projected in the media more. Might help the self esteem of alot of readers/viewers to see normal body shaes!

It’s kind of scary that some of you seem to think she’s fat or overweight. I guess your perception is screwed from looking at too many Hollywood girls that are way too skinny (I’ve noticed you usually consider them to have an amazing body and to look ‘healthy’)… I think Hilary is at a normal healthy weight, not even close to being overweight or fat. And she is way prettier at the weight she’s now than when she was so skinny back in 2005!

To be totally honest she a looks a bit heavy to me….at least, heavier than I would want to be. I’m 5′6″ and 115 lb, and I can’t imagine being both 15 lb heavier and 4 inches shorter at the same time. It would make me feel a little bit chubby.

If she’s only 5′2″ I would be shocked if she weighed over 120lbs. I think even 110lbs at 5′2″ would *look* very big compared to what have become normative expectations for starlets.
