I believe she is too skinny. Just look at the last picture and how black and blue her legs are! That happens a lot faster when you are malnurished…
She is very thin but doesn’t look like she starves or restricts. Isn’t she super tall too? On her show, she always wears shorts and seem extremely comfortable in her skin.
she is too thin because she’s not naturally this thin, if you look at pictures from her earlier career and when she started on t4 she was a healthier weight. It’s probably because she likes fashion so much, the thinner you are the less you have to dress for your figure, not that thats healthy

It’s hard to tell in those clothes if she is too thin to be healthy. She is certainly too thin to look good, just looks scrawny, IMO.

Alexa has great taste in style, i think. She has acknowledged that she’s gotten skinnier than before. She claims to have such a busy schedule that she hardly gets time to have a good meal. But, i think it this weight totally suits her. Although before, she was a bit cuter with a little extra meat on her cheeks.

thank you for finally doing a post about her. i think she is absolutely gorgeous and i think she has a great sense of style. with that being said, i beleive that she is too thin. i do kinda wish that i looked like that and that is my own personal problem but she does not seem completely healthy. i read an interview where she said that being in the fashion industry really messed up her body image. i hope she takes better care of herself

@Cossey – no laughing, but what’s a spinner? I googled it and it said “one who spins.” There was also something about fishing lure. I doubt you refer to either of those defs.
I’m a huge fan of Alexa, and I know that she wasn’t always this thin. She didn’t slim down fast, I think it was a slow, healthy diet. She has been at this weight for quite some time now, so I don’t think she is has an ‘unhealthy’ diet.

I read an interview a couple of years ago and she said she left the modeling industry because she was becoming obsessed with the calorie content in everything. It got so bad that on her birthday 1 year she felt bad for eating a slice of cake.

Yeah, her legs are definitely very skinny and boyish. I don’t think any of us are in a position to say whether or not she is naturally so thin, but IMO the pubescent boy look is decidedly unattractive.

K, I’m 5′8.5 and 115 is definitely unhealthy, if she really is that height she seriously needs to gain some weight. I weigh 130, everyone says I’m a skinny minnie, and my doctor told me under 126 is considered underweight.
Roonie – everyone has their own healthy weight and it depends on their metabolism, bone structure etc. A friend of mine is same hight as me and is around 145. Both her and I have been at the same weight for the last 15 years, eat the same and are both quite sporty.
lili- I know that and understand that, but I’m a small bone frame as you must be too and very into running, so I have an athletic body, 115 to me just seems too low. JMO.

I can’t really tell under that tent ensemble. Heels lengthen your legs so I can’t base my opinion on that, either. She’s definitely tiny, no doubt about it.

Alexa has always been this weight. I love her! She’s very down to earth and is rather boyish – she presented a weekend breakfast sho here in the U.K for years and ever since I can remember she has looked like this. Some people are just blessed with a metabolism like hers – just the same as some people are blessed with a metabolism like…..Kirsty Alley.

Way too skinny. I find it absolutely TERRIBLE that so many of you girls here think she looks okay – she does NOT look okay! A photograph always adds about 10 lbs. Now imagine you saw her in real life. She’s probably not even there. Being this skinny is unhealthy and sets a wrong example. And it’s nothing to be “blessed with”, for Christ’s sake.
Also, I think she’d have the potential to be very pretty if she didn’t have such a toxic personality. That always makes her look kinda evil.

I don’t really know who she is. If she’s 5′8″ & 115, that’s thin…but still gives her a BMI of 17.4.
If she is more like 110 lbs…that would be a BMI of 16.7…which is pretty border-line too skinny. I cannot really assess her b/c haven’t seen previous pics of her to compare. If she is/was a model then being this skinny is probably more her normal state?

I think Alexa looks slim, but she has been that build for many years now! I have worked with her for 6 months in England on T4, and been around her when she eats, she eats totally normally but only the healthyish side but wouldnt turn down a choccie bar or two!

It’s funny how people rationalize her being too thin by saying “she’s looked like this for years”. WTF, being too thin is too thin, regardless of how long you’ve looked that way. Indeed, it’s even WORSE if you’ve been this thin for years. Imagine the toll it takes on one’s body and organs.

She looks thinner lately than when she first started on MTV a couple months ago. Her fathers Chinese which might attribute to her having a slender frame. I love her sense of humor-it’s a bit dry & British. Her style is quirky and fabulous compared to all the celebrities being pumped out of the same fashion machine these days. I wish her much success on her show and hope she stays on our side of the pond for a while.

i do think she’s on the very skinny side, but she’s such a beautiful person and i love her style.
she has never lied about the fact that she has a boyish figure, saying herself that she has the legs of a 9 yr/old boy. She is gorgeous and really lovely in person. She also is touchy about the ‘role-model’ tag she is landed with, and has been landed with for years whilst she worked on t4 and always is clear to state that she is absolutely not pro ana. She has a lean and boyish figure, verging on underweight, but i do not believe she is ana. She looks a little too healthy on it. anemic most definitely, and also clumsy judging my those bruises!

I read an online interview or two of hers. She said she’s both a vegetarian AND is scared to death of carbs. Sounds pretty health conscious and strict if you ask me.
