Oddly enough I think she makes a very beautiful pregnant woman. I don’t like her normally. I wish I was that glowing when I was 9 months. I just looked like a swollen zit machine!
I am loving her shoes. When I was pregnant my feet were way too swollen for those, but I suppose I could have bought a size double wide Paris Hilton size.
I think she is absolutely gorgeous. And she looks so healthy and glowing when she’s pregnant. Wicked style, too.

Nicole absolutely shines/glows with radiance and is totally gorgeous when she’s pregnant. She is still so tiny even when she’s about to pop (except her tummy where she carries all her weight). She doesn’t get big all over (her body) …just her stomach…lucky girl. I think that her baby bump was more prominent earlier on in this pregnancy. In her 1st pregnancy she stayed thinner (less pregnant looking) somewhat later than in this pregnancy.
TO: KleenKanteen…I, too, wonder how long it will take her before she’s lost all her baby weight and even extra weight beyond the baby weight. And TO: KleenKanteen, she was interviewed recently and she said that if she has a boy …she claims she will name him Michael & if it’s a girl will call her Michelle to HONOR Michael Jackson who is …well was (now that he is deceased) her godfather.
TO: Connie…I’m w/you; I’m happy that Nic has been able to maintain healthy pregnancies & NOT Damaging her “Reproductive Ability” taking into account what she has put her body through with her eating disorder or “disordered eating”, etc PLUS all the drugs she has been doing practically non-stop even early on into her 1st pregnancy. She went into rehab to detox from vicodin, adderall and drinking when she found out she was preggers w/ Harlow back in May/early June, ‘07.(Harlow was born Jan 11, 2008)
TO: shaun…you’re undoubtedly right…in 3 months or may be two (months)…she will be her skinny self (and size 0 again) and all the tabloids will be running stories of her fast weight loss. She’ll probably go “back” on her “chicken broth” diet (to lose weight more quickly) after giving birth like she did w/Harlow! She claimed that Harlow had a sensitive digestive system and that she had to restrict her diet to bland stuff and she mostly survived on chicken broth. Shaun…I agree with you…I’m really anxious to see her next baby (due in mid-August “reportedly”) Bet the baby will be totally adorable / cute / gorgeous…just like Harlow.

Just to clarify…Nicole (reportedly) did go to an organic diet after she was not breast feeding Harlow as much. She even was making/(blending) her own organic baby food for Harlow when Harlow was older and not relying totally on breast milk as much. Think that Nicole was still organic during this pregnancy as well. BUT….I was just wondering (like blue & shaun & others) if Nicole would shed the baby weight in “record time” and be a size 0 in 2/3 months. She did shed her baby weight really fast w/Harlow claiming that she could only (for the most part) eat chicken broth/bland food b/c Harlow had a sensitive system (stomach). I was just speculating if she’d go back to the “chicken broth QUICK weight loss” routine (for short time) with baby number 2 until she was skinny again ?

I hate the “what is she famous for” line. What is ANYBODY famous for? People in Hollywood aren’t curing cancer or facilitating peace treaties, you know. They’re all famous because the public has expressed interest in them — nothing more. She had a super-popular television show, like many other individuals who went from “nobodies” to celebrities. Does it matter who her dad is?
Good point, nowayjose. Also, as it says in the post, she designed (or maybe had some input, at least ) a fashione line, and hers I would much rather check out than the lines of those other starlets (Heidi, Lauren, Avril Lavigne, etc.).
If it wasn’t for her dad she wouldn’t have a fashion line, she is on TV because of her dad that’s why people know her, if i had to choose another “starlet” fashion line that would be Stella McCartney!

Londoncalling, you just don’t get it. It’s so pointless to say “it’s because of her dad.” That’s like saying “Megan Fox is only famous because she’s hot.” AND? What’s your point? Anyway, do you say the same thing about Angelina Jolie? Or Jennifer Aniston — they both have dads in the business. LOADS of famous offspring never become household names — if you don’t have that “IT” factor, doesn’t matter who your mom/dad/uncle/cousin is!
Now, there are instances where I say “WHY is she/he famous?” because some people are so annoying, so useless, so utterly lacking appeal that I can’t imagine anyone being interested in them — Heidi and Spencer come to mind first! But I have no trouble seeing the appeal of someone like Nicole or even Paris — can’t stand Paris, but I totally get why people are interested in her!

How lovely she is. While we definitely wonder “why is she famous,” she has really blossomed. Motherhood suits her and she is involved with fashion, charities, etc. Unlike Paris who is vapid and useless. Good for Nicole!

A lot of people are famous because of the relatives but if you haven’t got talent sooner or later its shows and you can only be on the paper because you are skinny, cant compare Angelina Jolie with Nicole Ritchie.

Well, Ms. McCartney went to Central St. Martin’s, if I’m not mistaken, she’s a professional designer with lots of credibility under her belt and she’s never been in showbiz, so why would you call her a starlet? Just because she has a famous dad, doesn’t make her a starlet and she shouldn’t be included in the same category as Nicole Richie.
I kinda like her style and the fact that she doesn’t gain too much weight when she is pregnant. I wonder what’s her secret to stay skinny. I like that she always seems happy.

In an interview for people magazine, in late February after giving birth, Nicole said she has to cut out a lot of things when breastfeeding Harlow.
This is what she said:
“I eat really bland [food] – chicken noodle soup, vegetables, fish. I had to cut out milk, no tomatoes, no lettuce. You think you have to cut everything out when you’re pregnant, but you really have to cut everything out when you’re breastfeeding.”
I believe some people thought she said chicken broth.

personally I don’t believe stella mccartney would have had half the success if dad and his famous pals hadn’t helped her out. Phoebe Philo did most of the work in the early days at Chloe anyway.
Absolutely adorable. I’m surprised that in pregnancy she is able to stay so slim though because of her earlier chubby days. But good for her as long as she’s doing it healthfully.
