I have never thought that Renee was “all that”! There’s just something about her face which is sort of off-putting and with her open mouth posing…it makes her face look even worse. Yeah, skinny back, legs, arms. She does have the Madonna Syndrome down pretty well…popping/bulging veins. She & Kelly Ripa are such Madonna wannabes! This dress has a lot of material in her bodice (tummy area) and gives an illusion of her having added a few lbs to skinny self. Today Renee Z. was on Live With Regis & Kelly (although Kelly had a substitute “Local-to-Live”)from Canada fill in for her. It’s been somewhat a bit more refreshing having 5 different “local-to-live” co-hosts with the Reege this week while Kelly is/was on vacation. About a week & a half back when Reege was out if California filming his 10 Year Annual Millionaire Show, Kelly had 5 male “local-to-live” co-hosts. To be honest, a few of these ladies pitch-hitting for Kelly were really pretty good!
On the Live Show this morning, Rene had a dark navy form fitting dress on she looked much thinner than in this pic. When she sat down, her legs were so thin. Parts of her legs almost seemed concave.
BTW, Renee is supposed to do another Bridget Jones & filming is reportedly in the spring (I believe) in 2010. Gees, she’s like 41. Gaining and losing ALL this weight twice already (while she was in her 30’s had to be brutal on her body…and now in her 40’s to be doing it 3rd time…she’s gonna soon ruinher looks & body & metabolism)! I think that all the gaining & losing repeatedly is taking a toll on her looks!

I don’t think it is a good color for her to wear. I have similar colors and body to Renee and was trying on something same color and similar fabric (a cute short romper by a local designer) and had to go with black because this shade of blue just does not look right on someone pale, blond, blue eyed and skinny.

I watched Renee on Letterman and my god she looked so much skinnier on TV. Her chest was concave, her arms were non-existent, and bones were popping out all over the place. It was all I could do not to switch channels. And she just opened up a restaurant! What a joke.

I think she looks amazing. I have legs like her. Sometimes people’s bodies are just naturally inclined to be more muscular. She works out. I think she looks great especially considering her age. Not that she’s old or anything, but you know.

She is definitely toned. While I think she looks healthier when she’s softer, and prettier, I don’t think she looks super sick here either. It just doesn’t really suit her, especially face wise.

Renee has always had a bit of a weird face it’s kind of cute in my opinion, a bit like Cameron Diaz. Very expressive, which adds to her acting ability IMO.

She started the red carpet “posing” about 10 or so years ago. Yep…Rene Z was the perp. She was the original poser. Before her women just stood there, they had no idea that they were supposed to thrust their pelvic bones forward and put a hand on a hip. (I’m serious).

i think she looks really awful. u can be fit and healthy, with muscles that toned but not look so.. sinewy, if u have a reasonable amount of body fat. but obviously she does not. i cant see how she has the minimum amount of body fat necessary for menstruation.

So since she looks exactly the same weight wise as she has in the previous posts, all there is really to comment on is what she’s wearing. I give it a big thumbs up. I don’t think Renee looks unhealthier than other skinny celebs, such as Teri H, Marcia C, Victoria B. In fact, the fact that she has muscle makes her lok a bit healthier. You don’t get muscles by starvation.

She has the type of face that looks chubby no matter what, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that has been a factor in why she feels that she needs to maintain such a low weight.

I agree that the dress is at odds with her ’striking’ face and ‘athletic’ figure. She’s an attractive woman but needs to leave the botox alone and work a classic, elegant look, like Victoria Beckham or Jennifer Aniston. She’s a mature woman wearing a little girl’s dress which makes her look more masculine than she actually is. I think her body is amazing though if bordering on the thin side. She has the most amazing legs and always looks so fit. She just needs to ease off a little in order to get the balance right. 5 or 6 lbs would make all the difference. I’d love to see her with sleek hair too.
I agree that she looks like she may be on a starvation diet. She doesn’t look like she has very much muscle to me (her limbs are tiny!) – everyone has a fair bit of muscle on their bodies, they are just not so pronounced due to a healthy layer of bodyfat.

The reason why this muscularity doesn’t look good because she doesn’t have enough fat. She needs to gain a couple pounds of fat. She does work out but she probably eats too little fat and is on a extremely strict diet. Kelly Rippa also has too little fat.
A good example of someone who is muscular the right way is Hillary Swank. She’s not too skinny. She’s just muscular and fit.
Renee would look better if she had a better hairstyle. I wouldn’t even call what she has on a hairstyle. It just looks like she put her hair up, put on the dress and went to this event. Seriously….this is the way my hair looks when I’m working out.
