What’s that? A “Holyday on Ice” suit? She is so beautiful and has a glowuing skin, maybe with the right dress she would be stunning.
I don’t like it. Her dress reminds me of Halle Berry at the Oscars. I think it was Elli Saab.
But I think she looks great bodywise.
Her arms are thick and her fingers are stubby. Otherwise, she’s ok.

It’s funny how there seems no in between opinions on her dress, you either love it or you hate it. I love it from a distance but not so much up close. That first picture took my breath away, then scroll down and you see the flesh colored part and it’s no longer so breathtaking. Oh well, she certainly is a beautiful woman.
That dress is so tacky, and she usually does sophisticated minimalism that I love. I thought of an ice skating costume too, then if it was shorter it could be one of the dancing with the stars costumes too. Too bad because her face and skin look beautiful and she looks very good weight wise-slim but healthy.

Olivia is gorgeous…I like the dress except when she turned around (when they interviewed her on the Red Carpet…definitely DID NOT like the back or the lack of the back of her dress). So, I guess I liked half of the dress (ha-ha)! Hope that her two-sided tape lasted for the entire event…it was like 103 degrees Fahrenheit on the Red Carpet last night. (Everyone was talking about the heat!) She is thin but she was thinner the last time she was on the Red Carpet (too thin, I thought). She was thinner (I agree with you, MsCotton…on Season 5 of House).

I like the dress. Its a little over the top but it is an awards show! Her arms are not thick or chubby just not sticks! Beautiful woman with a slim healthy body. The back to the dress mesh thing could have been more fitted though.

I agree, Olivia reminds of Keira Knightley. This Marchesa dress looks like the Rodarte one that Keira wore a few years ago, when she was promoting “Atonement”. Olivia has gained weight, but her face is still exquisite. I love her bone structure and feline looks. Her arms, however, could be more toned.

Unlike the skating costumes, the nude part of the dress actually matches her skin color. Best I can say about it.

I think this girl is sooo beautiful….
Her arms aren’t chubby at all. She obviously does weight training with her arms. As someone who does that myself and a nutritionist/trainer it’s easy to tell they’re not chubby. Though the dress has a cleverly placed amount of skin showing near her right hip attempting to make her appear more curvy. She looks lovely.

i think its the nude chiffon – type material that ruins it abit, the visible seam at the back etc.

I think she is stunning. I have always thought so, but after I saw the pictures from the Emmys I grew to like her a lot more. I think the dress is beautiful, but it definately loses its appeal when you get really close. Still gorgeous though. And House is a fantastic show

She looks gorgeous, dress in pretty in front but hideous in the back thanks to that ridiculous zipper and the material showing.
Stubby fingers? It must have taken the person who said that an hour of careful studying of these pics to come out with a criticism that ridiculous.

She should at least have gone for a more simple kind of clutch, the one she’s carrying is too sparkly for the dress which is itself like a second rate Rodarte number. On the upside, I’m glad to see she’s not as skinny as I thought.
Ahhhh I don’t know who she is but she looks beautiful – figure skatery dress is okay in my book. Nude panel does look a bit gross where it’s wrinkling up. Skinny but either she works out a good amount or it’s relatively natural – if my torso were that thin my arms would be absolute twigs.
That dress should continue down to her hoohah!!!!
When I saw this dress last week while trying to keep up with Fashion Week I literally said, “I wonder who will wear this to an awards show.” I have my answer but I’m disappointed. She has a great body but this dress was much more impressive on the model. I don’t like it as much on her.

Aw, I love Olivia Wilde! Thanks for posting these! The dress is a bit too figure-skater-costume for my liking – hate the skin colour fabric, especially when it bunches up like in one of the pics! Such a beautiful face. I wish House would hurry up and come back on tv here.

it’s funny because when she was on the OC i thought she was just some nobody who we would never see aain. but she is actually this gorgous girl. and she iis becoming a sex symbol and she seems genuinely nice and modest and not megan fox-ish at all. i like her. she looks great here…her dress is reminding me of eli saab-halle berry one from the oscars. but i love marchesa……so yeah i think i do like this dress on her.
