Jeez, NONE of these girls are pretty, except for the one with blonde hair that’s down. The one with blonde hair pulled back looks the freakiest. Overall, very unattractive. And I wouldn’t want their bodies, they just look like they starve and never exercise. I’d rather be at a normal weight and toned.

Skinny models are about as exciting as vanilla ice-cream. Of course they’re uber-skinny — they’re models! Unfortunately, clothes are designed for and look best on coathanger figures.

They’re very skinny but not completely skeletal, thank god.
They’re skinny because it’s their job to be. The retired ones look normal these days.
I love the second model with the shaggy hair. She was in British Vogue last month and the only reason I recognized her is by the gun tattoo on her inner left bicep. I’m not all for guns, but it sure is interesting.

They don’t look skeletal (the second one being an exception) but they do look very unhealthy. I do not like it, but this is what the designers like.
Not to my taste either. I really look past the girls very easily and end up focusing on the clothes, which I guess is good. And these clothes are really nice. I especially like the black and white number.
I think they look fabulous. I know that they are probably below the healthy 18 BMI but their legs are killer! I’ve seen skinnier models so I actually don’t think these girls look TOO thin.
The blonde one with her hair down is the prettiest and has the best body imo.

i don’t think any of these are scary skinny, they are just model skinny.
To me, “model skinny” = scary skinny.
The second girl down is the least attractive and is way to skinny. I like the first girls arms/shoulders. The 5th girls legs look the best.
I don’t really see the difference in skinny between them and models like Miranda Kerr that supposedly look ‘healthy’.
They all look good imo but I like the super skinny look (no comment on if it’s natural or not as I do not know).
I agree with one of the commenters above who said that it’s a models job to be thin and that when they retire they get normal. It was true with me too, after retiriring it took me about a year and I went from the BMI of 15 to a healthy 19-20 and been like that for a long time. So don’t worry about the girls so much, most of them turn “normal” in a few years

These models aren’t “celebrities” therefore, I don’t think there should be posts about them. As you probably can guess, no, I don’t enjoy looking at models on the catwalk.
I don’t understand how they are too skinny…
#2, #4 and #6 are especially skeletal. I just really can’t see why it is worth being this thin. The clothes are fun sure, but I don’t believe they would hang worse if each of those girls gained 8 or so pounds. This is just too much.
this just goes to show that no matter how skinny you are….bad hair can plague us all! :-\
They are skinny, but not deathly so, I think this amount of thinness should be allowed on the runway..
Love the hair of the 2nd, 3rd and 5th girls. Wow. They are all very skinny, but it I think they look amazing. With exception of the 4th, she looks weird.

I think a lot of models this season least the bigger names like freja and abbey lee above have actually gained a little bit of weight

They are all really thin, some more so than others. I think the second model looks like a man in drag, but the blonde with long hair is the most attractive imo.

Canadian fashion designer, Mark Fast, had a ‘larger’ woman in his recent London Fashion Week show so as to represent a normal, beautiful woman & was criticized. I saw the woman, Hayley Morley, & she looked fabulous. Soooo upsetting that this was criticized. We definetly need to see more variety. Not many women are naturally a size 2. I think more women would appreciate designers, fashion and their own bodies if there were some size 6’s & 8’s, and maybe larger. And different body types, too-apple, pear, etc. A woman of any body type, when eating healthy, exercising and living a healthy lifestyle can look fabulous- and for most woman, being healthy is not equivalent to a size 2.

Come on, this isn’t SCARY skinny. And enough of these comments about feeding tubes and not having energy. I am literally the same size as most of these girls and do nothing to keep it that way. Let’s not always assume they are struggling to look like this. Lots of people are ASKED to model for their agencies because they already have that look NATURALLY! So sick of some of these comments.
Looks unhealthy and somehow redicolous. Why would anybody want to look like a stick? Don’t see the advantage somehow.

LOVE the first and third dresses. Don’t love the uber skinnyness we’re seeing here. I know each person has their own body type. I just wonder how much they’re starving themselves to be that skinny, though.
Is Milan one of the places that has regulations on weight for models? While these girls are very skinny, they’re not as frightening as other models I’ve seen on the runways. Not healthy by any means, but not deathly skinny.

To me they do not look too skinny at all. Thin, but not very thin. They do not look more unhealthy to me than Christina Hendricks with her mass of untoned flesh.

number two is danish and her arms and legs are photoshopped in this picture. She is not near that skinny in real life.
i dont mind the first girls body, but i think black girls often have nice definition so that could be contributing to it, over all they are too skinny.
Worse than common faces. It looks like designers trying to find the ugliest-ever girls so that their faces don’t destract people from clothes. And the girls are really skin though it’s not that bad. Looks pleasant.
These clothes do look better on skinny models so I have no problem with designers using skinny models but I have no desire to look this weak and feeble, strength and vitality are a far more attractive looks to me.
@jessicaaa – if your body ‘takes a lot of hard work & discipline’ then you are probably pushing to a place where it doesn’t want to be (which is very unhealthy). The only time someone should be putting a lot of hard work into their body is if they are an athlete or are overweight & aiming to get healthy.
If your figure can’t be maintained by moderate physical activity and eating decent meals when hungry then you are prob too skinny.

The one is white has a gray tint to her? The blond one looks good, IMO. They look very….tired or something though. Not my favorite body type.

Why don’t you post more about models like: natasha poly or snejana Onopka, those are so skinny, especially the last one. And really hot models, they walk almost every catwalk.

honestly the only super skinny one is the second girl…the rest look normal model thin…i wonder why people look at these girls and freak out on their size, i mean models are supposed to be thin and they always have been. whats so surprising about that?
All of them are so gross. They look so depressed and hungry. Why starve yourself? Why would anyone in their right minds want to look like a bag of bones? How is it even the slightest bit attractive.
I like a bit of meat on bones, and HEALTHY girls, not these skinny sewer rats.

I don’t like posts on models. At least not models we don’t know. All models or most models are skinny, that’s just how it is. Unless the request for normal sized models comes from the fashion industry within nothing will ever change.
I recognize all of them except for the first one; Freja Beha Erichsen, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Kasia Struss, Ginta Lapina and Irina Kulikova. They are all size 0-4 so they are very skinny even if they don’t look it here. But I dream of a body like Freja’s!

she’s gained a good 20lb since she started modelling at 13, she is now 15. that body is normal for someone her age, look at her again in 3 years.
idk, i dont find her scary skinny. post her pics from derek lam in NY, she has amazing legs. i heard her parents are both sports coaches so im guessing she grew up in an athletic environment
