What a woman! She’s a beauty!
These former supermodels sure have interesting sense of style.
OMG! What was she thinking? Same as Claudia in the style stakes, clueless imo.
Elle always ends up looking like a 70’s throwback when she attempts boho, funny.
Stick to casual sportswear and a stylist on the red carpet, would be my advice. Clearly all those years exposed to fashion has had little to no effect.
And yet, again, pretty woman and that’s it.
tall and lean, but has spent wayyyy too much time in the sun over the years. looks to be in her 50’s.
Fur is dead. Dot com. How can ppl still wear fur…I don’t work for PETA but my gosh, they have exposed the cruelty and suffering behind the fur, leather, exotic skins ect. that vain persons use for “fashion.”

I could stand the outfit if she didn’t have that vest thing on. She doesn’t look as refreshed in the face as some of the other former models around her age, but I guess that’s a good thing to just let yourself look your age and not go crazy with plastic surgery and botox.
I like the dress and boots but the vest makes it looks like she’s trying too hard. She’s seen a lot of sun in her time and it’s definitely aged her.
For all you young girls, always protect your face with sunscreen and a hat. It’s so not worth it when you get older!

I think she looks great! I dislike when people say that and then add “for her age”….I think because of our obsession with staying young we’ve lost touch with what a woman really looks like at 40,50, etc when she doesn’t have surgery/fillers. Go out and look at your average woman in her 40s…compared to these women that “average woman” will look 55-60. *I’m not saying this is bad* I’m saying we’re obsessed with staying young and thus pick apart women when they don’t look 10-15 years younger than they are

Very (way too) thin, gorgeous hair. Her lips look a little plumped and icky. A few more lbs and her face would fill out nicely.

If the fur is real –ugh!–but, if it’s fake, i don’t mind the vest; it just doesn’t really seem to go with the rest.
I think she is aging well although, IMO, she is very thin and would look better with a few more lbs on her frame.
@ Dum-Dum I know this probably won’t be popular but if they’re already killing the animals for meat I don’t really see that much harm in making leather etc as well.
As for Elle, I think that she looks great for her age!

Leave her alone about her style. I can’t stand it when people on this site harp on others sense of style. It is her own style so let her be.

You really think they’re eating mink and foxes? I kind of doubt that. But I also think it’s weird that people can wear leather and then not like fur. They’re both part of a carcass.

this woman doesn’t have a 9to5 job, so what does she do after? I mean would you wear that ensemble just to drive your kids to school and then go back home and do nothing?…Seriously, these women have zero to do and spend days getting ready just for 5 minutes of fame!

Pretty and skinny, but not scary skinny. That vest has to go though, otherwise outfit is ok.

I think that Elle looks very pretty & thin (not too thin as long as she DOES NOT drop any further lbs).
I think that many of these models like Elle who have/had been modeling since they were in their teens/20’s/maybe their early 30’s were thin (but were NOT like the models of today who are sometimes beyond waifish) are looking really HOT NOW. I wonder what these pin thin younger models/actresses will look like when they get to be in their 40’s? (Elle, Cindy Crawford, Claudia Shauffer (sp, etc)?? The emaciated models now will (IMO) not look this good when they hit their 40’s! Just a thought. I heard that Elle is no longer going to be doing runway modeling. She is supposedly going to model here & there but not runway any longer.

She is so slim – almost emaciated looking, I think. And prematurely aged, yes, not only from the sun but because of her drug/alcohol problems. This is a woman who went to rehab right after her son was born!

I for one am glad all of our photos are not on here to be reviewed because some might be shocked what others think of them.
I am amazed if a woman is over 35 that suddenly she is old looking. One day all the young ones will be old too. Life is more than what you look like. I love fashion but women degrading one another simply because they are not 21 any more is sad. We all will get older and unless you botox and surgery yourself to death age happens it should be viewed as a gift that you are healthy and live to an old age not discarded after age 40.
By the way most people who do botox and have surgery in person actually do look older than those who age gracefully.

This is one instance where the juxtaposition between ‘celebrity life’ and ‘real life’ is so obvious.
My first thought was “Wow! Elle’s looking hot!” …but then I thought about what my reaction would be if I saw this woman walking down the street tomorrow and I would honestly be concerned for her physical AND mental health. She is too thin. Not in comparison to other celebrities maybe, but in real life she would be the object of sideways stares and pity.
Eeeck! I think she would look much better if she gained 20 lbs. Her face desperately needs some fat. This weight/skinniness make her face look really old.
She looks absolutely fabulous in that outfit! All of you who don’t understand anything about style and fashion, stop commenting on them!

Nah, I’ve never been a fan of Elle, I think she could stand putting on a few pounds, it would make her look less masculine in her face. She’s too tanned for my liking too.
