she looks so harsh. i was watching the show yesterday and it shocked me how thin all of them are. the hollywood skinny craze really isn’t just for teens or twenty-somethings

Yikes…she looks like Lindsay Lohan. Sharp features with an emaciated frame. She looks like her bones are about to snap.
She’s like Nicky Hilton, both of them have extremely skinny legs but their hips and torso look slim, not emaciated like the legs.

Skinny is not near as pretty and good lookin as healthy is. Even if one is lean and toned, maybee a lil thin thats okay. But this? its discusting i am sorry if she is actually battling a disorder (eating disorders are often way more than just looks)

I agree with Annon. She might be so skinny because of stress with her husband having cancer. I don’t know if she’s always been skinny though.

eww gosh! I didn’t know her husband has cancer! that’s awful! in that case, I’m sure fashion’s the last thing on her mind. she can wear whatever she wants, as this must be difficult time for her! I wish her and her family all the best!

I’ve seen her in person and she is soooo tiny. I’m 5′7″, 120 lbs and I felt like a giant next to her. She looks even thinner in person!
Folks, it’s not natural, the woman does not eat. I mentioned months ago that my friend is a Chef and did a dinner party for them..She told me that Marcia ate a bite of each course, that’s it, and no desert. Hmmmm, stress? Nope, it’s called eating disorder.
I like her, but I do think she got skinnier…and it does make her look harsh.
I agree with dascoop – this doesn’t look natural. I wish I could say I didn’t somewhat envy this look…but…I do. I hope for the sake of women everywhere that this trend is on it’s way out…it’s not healthy.
I actually think she looks great for her age. Beautiful hair, great skin, barely any wrinkles. She’s a beautiful woman who is probably experiencing some stress; give her a break.
She has gotten very skinny, esp on the show. I’d like to see her a bit softer. I do love her classic beauty though, wish I had that fantastic bone structure and hair.
Are those boobs hers? As thin as she is, she should be smaller chested. On the show, I think she’s the thinnest.
Although I think, due to what I have read in several interviews, that she has perhaps harboured some disordered eating habits in the past, I think it is important to note that she must be going through a very stressful time at the moment due to her husbands health and caring for their 2 young children. She is very skinny, and while I don’t think it is natural I also don’t think that this is the correct time to criticize her based on it due to other contextual elements. Despite her weightloss I still find her to be a very pretty and classy woman .. hopefully she can add a little bit of weight on to her frame though!
If my husband had cancer i wouldn’t eat either, food and looks would be the last thing i would worry about, she is pretty and not too skinny.

thanks for the marcia post Rian! she looks way too thin here but not nearly as bad as on the show when she wears sleeveless shirts and her shoulder bones stick out, poor thing.
I remember reading an interview somewhere a few years ago where she admitted to feeling pressure to be thin and I can’t remember if she mentioned due to being on DH, but I assume it’s related. Eva Longoria looks healthy to me as well as the others. Teri has gained enough weight to look more normal. Women their age look too gaunt when they lose beyond a certain point. Younger ones can get away with it but not the older…..ex: Angelina vs. Marcia.
she’s obviously starving herself for one or other reason. i find it funny thought that Eva Longoria is always spotted eating (pasta, KFC, etc) and she still looks so thin. ok, not as skinny as Marcia, but still.
Anyone who thinks that Marcia is a shiny example of a healthy woman is sadly mistaken. She looks like an ex-prisoner of war here, emaciated and gaunt. As for her wrinkle free face, take a look at her neckline and think “Botox”. I’m 6 years her junior, I have relatively good genes, I don’t smoke, I barely drink alcohol, I use sunscreen, I do a lot of sport and I never wear make-up that is heavy on the skin, but I do have expression wrinkles. Call me a health freak, but how people can have their face injected with stuff that attacks the facial nerves is byond me. I wish that aging gracefully came back in style, because every age has it’s appeal.
As you get older you need some meat in your bones to look fresh, otherwise you look older and scarier. Pople like monique will age slower. Tyra banks will look like an ostrich in her mid forties if she attempts to look skinnier. Most tall women especially dont carry being thin well into their forties and fifties. But hey, if that is what you’ve got to do to get paid for apearing in a major tv programme or movie, you dont exactly have a choice… I am 6ft 2in tall and i know what I am talking about. These women may not like it, but they are trapped in their ‘jobs’.

I doubt a woman (and mother) of that age is under weight and under nourished. First of all I don’t think she looks emaciated, she just looks like a woman with a slender frame who is very toned with little fat. She has beautiful skin and hair which is a sign of good nutrition. And for that comment about seeing her eating little in public, come on are you telling me that you would chow down like a pig in public?
I don’t think she is that skinny. I think she appears to be a lot thinner because she has no hips. She seems to be a triangle shape to me. Most of the thin women in Hollywood tend to have hips which make them appear bigger than they are.
Not to skinny at all. Looks fit and toned with radiant skin and glossy red hair. Would kill to look like that, especially at that age.

I’ve been watching the show this season and she looks painfully thin (chest and arms, especially). She is a beautiful, beautiful woman otherwise.
I think the weight she is at fits her well. All though it is hard to tell since she is wearing baggy pants. LOVE the flat stomach.
She is old enough to know better and needs to take care of herself more…not just her skin but her whole body…way too thin….she would def look better with another 20lbs on her. This stick thin thing is just ridiculous.

Didn’tn she mention in an interview a few years ago that she really felt forced to stay skinny? I think she is very skinny but she probably has been going through a really hard time so I don’t wanna judge. Hope everything is getting better.

She is quite skinny, but it doesn’t show in her face — and there isn’t any apparent plastic surgery either, which leads me to believe she must be somewhat naturally thin because her face would be awful if she was starving herself at her age.
