The Olsen Twins Go On Good Morning America

Their appearance on the show was to promote their new junior fashion line of sportswear and accessories, a collection called Olsenboye, which will be sold exclusive at the J.C. Penney chain in New York City.

It’s hard to tell with their losse/baggy clothing, but they look to be around the same weight. Both of them look pretty thin!

EWWWW. Mary Kate looks awful. Ashley looks OK though. But it’s more than just the outfits. Their hair and teeth are dreadful. I must say, this is a good weight for them.

To me, they both appear to be a healthy weight and Mary-Kate definitely doesn’t seem to be too thin. Look at pictures of her from 2004, etc. She looks much healthier now.

Yeah, I caught them on Good Morning America this morning. THEY BOTH LOOK THIN to me (not overly so..but getting close to it)! I like that their style is different and carefree. However, I think they need some serious conditioner or haircut to tame those mops.
Do they actually think they look good? Oh how I miss their teen years. The pic of them smiling is great. They have pretty smiles and they look like an older Michelle Tanner, not some 60 year old bag lady.

I love them! I love the clothes, hair, make-up, shoes, ect. I love mk most. I’ve loved them sense I was a little girl.

I actually wouldn’t mind the bed head thing if they would just wear some clothes that actually fit them. Combined, they are worth more than a billion dollars. They can dress themselves any way they want. They can pay 20 people to dress them any way they want. And they choose THIS?
They look okay, weight-wise. MK was looking a bit puffy recently – that seems to have gone away. But it’s difficult to be sure.

They have the perfect faces, they are beautiful! But they look haggard and unkempt. I know it’s their “style” but personal style (for billionaires) shouldn’t make you look that bad!

Cute girls, I don’t know that peach is their colour though. They look kinda sickly and ill in these pics…and they don’t really look clean. It’s nice that they express themselves in their clothing choice though, not just hire a stylist and follow the mainstream trends.

It’s nice to actually see them smile for a change. That being said, I don’t understand why these girls insist on uglifying themselves by their choice of clothing and hairstyle. I see a lot of potential that is not being fulfilled. They both look like snugglebumms here.

I once read in a interview that they were not actually identical twins, just fraternal twins. This is hard to believe because they look alike soooo much!

They are NOT the same weight. Mary-Kate is heavier, she’s probably struggling with her weight. It does not look good on her, her face is too puffy.

The way Mary Kate is dressed is especially fabulous, she is totally on point.

It’s really a shame, what these two look like now-a-days. They are both incredibly burnt out and they haven’t even come close to their 30’s.

Mary Kate looks like she is wearing an outfit her mother would have worn back when she was on Full House. Not a good look especially for someone as short as she is.
Stephanie, Perhaps some of us have our own sense of style and don’t need Vogue or any other magazine to dictate to us what we should like. We aren’t all fashion victims.

@Persephone: Right, but I would say that those two are the perfect examples of fashion victims: They throw together pieces that on their own would have looked trendy and good, and the mixup ends up being horrible because they just don’t want to see (or even can’t see?) what the final result looks like. That ,for me, is the ideal definition of a fashion victim.
Why do they continue to dress like homeless bums who got their clothes from the bottom of a pile of dirty laundry? Aren’t they worth about $500 million? Can’t they wear clothing that fits them and use some deep conditioner on their hair so it doesn’t look like straw? I have absolutely no idea how they can be considered fashion icons when they look like crap every time I see them in a picture.

I don’t care if these outfits are in style in Vogue – they look hideous. 99.9% of the population would laugh at you if you walked down the street wearing that outfit that Mary Kate is wearing. Just because something is “in fashion” in Vogue doesn’t mean it looks good on someone walking down the street. MK’s outfit looks like a Halloween costume for someone who’s dressing like they’re in the ’80’s. If you want to see real fashion that always looks good and normal, look at Kate Moss, Kate Winslet, Gisele, Cindy Crawford when they’re just out and about. Always tailored, always stylish, always normal.
Okay, they have such an amazing potential to expand on their career’s…but slowly it’s slipping away. They need to lose the granny clothes and start promoting themselves better and get out there.
