Gorgeous as usual, but it looks like she may have put on a little bit of weight recently, most noticeably in her arms and midsection area…

Lipstick is too dark. I’ve never found her that attractive. She looks like an ordinary, pretty woman, you know, like Katherine Heigl or something. Nothing special. Her body looks fine though.

She is usually very classy, but I don’t like her in this post. Its too much Patricia Arquette at Lost Highway. And I don’t like the weird cut of the dress, it makes her legs look thicker than they probably are.
the material of that dress is awful. I thought it was pretty, just unflattering, until I looked at it. Charlize is beautiful though.
I think she is one of the most beautiful women in hollywood, i think fashion is fun and it doesn’t have to be boring in order to be nice, but why ruining a beautiful christian Dior dress with these beach sandals, it doesn’t make sense to me.
She looks to have gained like 10-15 lbs. I don’t like her makeup at all or her shoes!

And the flat sandals are a fug. High heels would make her look slim.
I like the top of the dress the drape is not very flattering at the bottom. She looks about the same weight wise maybe a bit less toned arms and legs. It is hard to tell in this dress about the mid section it makes her look heavy though… I agree with the others why beach sandals? Her face and neck look lovely.
I think the dress would be unflattering on anyone. The dress and sandals combo does not look right. And your right she has gained some weight, but still looks beautiful!
I don’t think she ever has an a bad moment. Charlize is absolutely stunning. Chop off the length of that dress and you have a nice top.

Yeah I agree she’s gained, but that dress is unflattering also. I dislike the lipstick too. Reminds me a bit of Nicole Kidman in the last pic.
I’m not crazy about her body but that’s only because it reminds me of my own. Tall, thin legs, arms are ok but weight goes to the middle. So it’s kinda blah when not clothed. But she’s looks fine.
The sandals are nice, but agreed that they don’t go with the dress. Maybe she just really felt like being comfy that night and thought to hell with it– I could see myself doing that LOL.
Not crazy about the lipstick on her either –it looks like she just drank some blood. But I still think she is one of the most talented and glamourously beautiful actresses out there, and she has a lovely figure. Those long legs mean she can carry a few extra lbs and still look good.
usually she looks great but the dress, makeup and worst of all the SANDALS are horrible. Why would she wear sandals????

I usually love her style and she usually looks great. However, this is one big mis-step. The shoes, the dress, the make-up, all wrong. Her hair isn’t bad though. Not great either.
Those shoes are to be worn with a bathing suit cover up going to the beach or pool!
I don’t like her lipstick. Recently I read that she complained about how much she has to exercise in order to keep slime b/c she likes food so much. Well, better that way than starving herself. They said that she’s about 60 kg for 1,73 or soemthing…no clue what that means in American units…sorry!
To me it looks like she’s gained around 3/4 pounds and it’s all went straight to her hips. But, this is Charlize Theron. She is a beautiful girl; weight gain or no weight gain!

WOOOOAH lipstick is way too dark. I think she is such a beautiful woman but that whole vampy look does her no favours!
Does everyone remember when she gained 30 lbs. to play a serial killer. I don’t think she ever lost all the weight from then. I have always thought she is really beautiful.
Gwen Stefani rates her own archive—but not Charlize? Looks like she has gained some—I mentioned in another thread—women this age sometimes need 8-10 more pounds in their thirties to not look older in the face.
I’m loving the lipstick, but not with that outfit or her complexion. She would look a thousand times better with a lighter red.
She is very pretty, but the sandals and dark lipstick ruin the look.

Lose the lipstick, Charlize, because the dark tones tend to age blondes and make for a harsh look (I’m talking from personal experience here). Not to keen on the dress too, but the rest is looking good.

I think she has a lovely face. However, in my opinion, her body looks under-exercised. Charlize has been more fit in the past, and she was stunning. Right now, with her figure, she looks practically matronly, and to my knowledge, she doesn’t have any kids. Many celebrity Moms have children, and have more rocking bodies than hers. Sorry, just being honest.
SHE HAS A GREAT BODY!! anyone who calls her big or fat is blind! but i agree sandals on the red carpet are a no no. Plus any weight she possible has gained is made worse by that outfit!

i think she looks really good – i actually like that she chose to wear sandals with no heel – she is really tall and doesnt need the height – just because something is flat doesnt mean it’s not dressy imo.
weight wise i dont see any difference – i read in an interview with her years ago that she is a UK 12 so she looks about that here!
I think she is a goddess when it comes to looks but the dark lipstick isn’t really her colour. I’m also not keen on the dress and shoes like that do not have a place on the red carpet.
I agree w/londoncalling. Love the sandals…but they are NOT appropriate for this occasion! Now to the dress…NOT FLATTERING on her at all! Hard to tell about any weight gain…think it could be due to this dress & don’t think the bottom (of dress) is flattering to her legs. Her legs are usually thinner looking than this. The sandals detract from her (usually) gorgeous long slim/thin legs!
I adore that lip colour. It’s maybe a bit too matte, on her anyway.

She looks slim and fit overall, IMO. And very pretty as usual. She looks different in the face to me though? I know her makeup and hair are a lot different than usual but her mouth and chin area just looks really different, is it just me?
I never found her body that attractive but she’s a really good actress and I like her a lot. And everything’s already been said about the dress, lipstick and shoes.

this is the worst I have ever seen her look. Poor posture, awful dress (at least for her skin tone and body type), horrible lipstick and hair. It may work for someone else but not for her. Weight wise, she is average to me

She’s stunning with a great shape. Her arms may look bigger because it looks like she has them pressed up against her torso instead of hands on hips – which make them look skinner. The dress is beautiful but not flattering – may be why her waist looks thicker. The sandals are beautiful but don’t go with the outfit. They’d be great if they had a heel. The sandal/dress bottom combo is not flattering to her lovely legs. Oh and the lipstick is ugly but sometimes you just get bored of the same old thing. Good for her.
