I really don’t like her. You can tell she thinks twilight is really lame (which it is, but that’s not the point). It’s put her name out there, brought her fame and a lot of money. She acts like she HATES the idea of it let alone being part of it.
I don’t get her.

I don’t really see any definition. I always feel as if she looks unhappy, she could at least pretend to like being famous and being a star.
yeah she’s skinny and all, but she’s the gross skinny. not well toned and TERRIBLE posture/carriage. I won’t even touch the clothing choice, ’cause it’s safe to say i think all of her wardrobe is pretty vomitrocious.

Her face doesn’t really hit me as beautiful but I think it’s nice to see someone who isn’t a blonde stick insect and has her own style – even if it’s not to my taste – making it good in hollywood. It’s encouraging.

I don’t get why people are so critical of her body. I mean, she’s no Victoria’s Secret model but c’mon. I’m jealous of how tiny her butt is and I don’t see any cellulite or fatty areas on her legs. Compared to most normal people she looks great. I’d swap my legs/butt for hers anyday.
i’ll love to have legs like hers. it’s not very special, but it’s just nice and will def look good in any shorts and clothes.

This is a very, very, very ordinary looking girl. No great beauty, not really a glowing personality, so I guess she must be a very talented actress (?).
Hate her style, hate her body and the worst part is she has a horrible personality too! I know you cant help how you look but her interviews lately have been so rude. She always says how much she hates fame, then dont be an actress!! NOthing enviable about that body!

Well, I can’t help but feel a little sorry for her, she looks like she’s being chased like an animal. And I guess it’s like that wherever she goes, so I get that she’s frustrated.
I love her legs! Gotta admit that her style may be out there but it is quite a breath of fresh air compared to the usual Hollywood designer look-a-like competitions other young actresses dress in!

Hello, why would she work out being 19 and skinny? I did not start working out until I hit 30. When you’re young you can totally get away with having no muscle definition if you have a nice shape, and she does.

I still love her, I love her because she isn’t one of those bottled blondes who goes to the plastic surgeon and feels the need to workout 6 hours a day 7 days a week, she is real, she doesn’t pretend to be someone she’s not and she doesn’t brown nose and kiss ass to the media, she speaks her mind and I love the fact that she isn’t annoying and fake like so many other actresses out there. Hate on her all you want but she can pull off the short shorts and rocker look. And really the girl gets followed everywhere, eventually you would get annoyed too because the girl has no privacy. Kristen has an awesome body, and I just hope she doesn’t become fake like the rest of hollywood.

Lili- She would work out to get toned. Why would you start to work out when u are 30? If you work out in your teens, your heart and the rest of your body will be in better shape when you are older and you won’t have to work as hard to stay in shape.

Mel – I have similar body shape to KS and have always been active – hiking, biking etc and being in good cardio shape. When I hit 30 I started exercising because flexibility, skin elasticity etc need some help in this age and as you move up the ranks job-wise you have less leisure to be generally active. Not all of us care about LOOKING toned. It is about being healthy and hitting the gym is not a must while you’re young. Perhaps you simply do not share the same body type hence are naive about its flaws and benefits.
i agree with mel im 18 and right now i dont care about “being toned”. im skinny and very active but im not toned, since when should people always be toned? its stupid

She just stated in Harper’s Bazaar that she’s 5′6. Any weight/size/measurement guesses?
She has a sloppy, lazy person’s body. Terrible posture, soft looking, no definition. Would definitely benefit, at least appearance wise, from a bit of weight training. She’s certainly not too young to begin. Her bones & her heart will thank her for it later.
I was just thinking that her butt may just look bad because of thouse baggy jean shorts hmmm. I think something more fitting would look better but I guess she maybe dressing for comfort. I dunno.
Well I like how she doesn’t act like being famous is all rainbows and roses. I once read an article that said the bright smiles of celebs had a negative effect on young people – it was because they always looked happy and it make youngsters feel like their lives were lacking because they weren’t famous.
She has a good figure (I’d love to be naturally skinny) but it’s not one I’m particularly envious of.
Lol I feel bad even when I make a comment and it suggests something negative about someone. I guess it’s only my opinion. I agree Lili, she doesn’t need to work out! She’s young, thin, and clearly active — running around working all the time. She has a thin frame with small muscles. I believe people who are all about ‘toning’ are often the ones who really have to work to maintain their shape. Kristen could never look like a toned Jessica Biel, so why criticize her shape. She looks great the way she is!

I agree with Alexina, also, what’s with people hating on being “pale”? Some people like the tan look, and some people like the pale look.
Most teens don’t work out unless they do a sport. I didn’t start until college because I was always slim and healthy naturally like her and I was enjoying the carefree life of being a kid for a little while.
How can you blame her for feeling so conflicted about Twilight? Sure it was her big break but now she’s only going to be known for it and it’s going to be hard for her to establish a real acting career because most people are not going to associate good acting with any franchise movie. I’m sure she wants to separate herself from it in order to get better and more serious roles.
Oh yeah and lets not forget how insane twilight fans are. Some of them are in love with her and want to be her in really extreme ways and others are so jealous that they hate her probably to the point that she’s afraid of them. I’d say she’s doing a decent job of handling how crazy it must be especially for a girl so young.

i read someone say that she doesn’t need to work out because she’s young und thin…okay, right, it’s good that she doesn’t get all crazy about her body, but i’m younger than her, also “skinny fat”, not a role model to many people and yet i still try to be healthy by exercising, building up muscle mass (power plate and gym), smoking as little as possible, not smoking pott, not drinking coke mainly…i don’t get she tries to do that at all.
apart form that it’s very true, she acts as if someone MADE her act (in twilight). if she doesn’t like acting/fame/twilight, she could stop/act in a local theatre somewhere in, oh, darwood, georgia/hide form the paparazi more and better/stop having people speculate about her relationships with taylor and rob (she really makes people do it)/play in other movies etc. she doesn’t seem to have a friendly/smart/happy/interesting personality, seems so bored, doesn’t have a good sense of style generally (or even an interesting one. i don’t even think she’s a very good actress (look at her expression and eyebrows in the new moon trailer!).
i really am sorry- she’s very young an di don’t usually bash anyone online or in real life (well i’ve actually never done it before) but everything strikes me as negative about this girl. yes i am a twilight fan, but i don’t dislike her because i’m jealous- rather, i was very open at the idea of her at first, when i first saw her picture i even said she’s way to pretty to play bella. The ones who are going on about “toning” like the way a “toned” woman looks. It has absolutely nothing to with whether someone has to work hard to maintain their shape. It’s like saying people who defend flabby people just cannot tone up themselves. How inane.
Lily – I totally agree with what you’ve said. Personally I’m a Twilight fan but some people are extreme, it has totally taken over their life and they mob her. It’s a great story but it’s not reality and I can see how she would feel some regret for ever getting involved in it.
Besides all her personal life, her body looks great, I like the pale look. It’s better then fake tan. Someday all the girls who go tanning will end up wrinkly and fugly and the ones who left their skin alone will still look decent. She’s a cute girl, hopefully she is able to escape the spotlight and find some peace after the Twilight saga fades out.
I think it’s very brave of her to mention the negative things that come with fame and I don’t think anyone should have to put up with just because that comes with the job. Otherwise nothing will ever change if you say, oh well, that’s just how it is.
No working conditions would have improved for any workers anywhere. She’s an actress, she’s not an it-girl who chose to be in the public eye, so good for her that she says what she thinks.

I feel bad when I see pics like this. It’s really obvious that the celeb doesn’t want to be photographed. I don’t like seeing pictures like this because I think of how bad I would feel if I walked out of the house and reeeally didn’t want to be photographed. Celebrities are people too!

Maybe some people get into acting because they have an intense passion for acting, not because they are hellbent on being famous and known. I know they should realize attention comes with the territory, but that doesn’t mean they can’t complain about it. I remember Leonardo DiCaprio said once he’s an actor not a celebrity.
