weightwise, she has definetly lost weight…when she was younger and just starting out she was about this size, but I think around the time Paparazzi and Starstruck were coming out she looked much thicker than this.
anyways, yeah she is what people might consider “fugly” but I think that’s part of what makes her like the most unique and amazing woman EVERRR!! I used to HATE her until I learned her whole concept of her music as “art” and “performance art” rather than just listening to it on the radio.
I think she has a cute, petite figure. Her saggy boobs are a bit horrible though, especially at such a young age. What am I saying??? Saggy boobs are never good, at any age.
Her face does look a lot thinner, suits her.

I was at this concert and she’s AMAZING live. I also think she has a nice body… but the face? Errrrrr
she looks pretty much the same in all pics. and i like her body. in the second one she put her hands forward in a way that makes them look very small, but you can see there are no shoulder bones or ribbs popping out so she’s not really skinny.
She looks thin, but I agree that she’s got to be way lying about her age. She looks so old in the face. And just odd looking.

@Tee: Chunky in the pokerface video? are you insane? She was wearing a leotard with the sides cut out and you could see her ribs- her thighs don’t touch. she always has been tiny.

she’s definitely gotten a lot thinner. watch the “bad romance” video- there are scenes where she’s clearly tiny now (like in the second picture). i think the costumes, lighting, and extra tech equipment are making her look bigger in the on stage shots. somebody needs to stop pushing herself so hard and take a break!

I don’t know if it matters that she’s average in the face because she’s a singer, not an actress, not a model. She’s totally lost a lot of weight since becoming famous… this drives me nuts because for all her BS about “breaking the mold” and being a unique “artist” she’s definitely conforming to something here.
I knew it was only time til she looked like sticks. She has probably lost around 8-10 lbs., because she’s short (5′1″) it makes a big difference.
seriously, ppl are criticizing her face, but if she got plastic surgery we would be jumping on her for that, too.. different doesn’t mean ugly, i like that she doesn’t resemble a typical pop star

First photo looks like a man.I dont think she is making art or great music,actually I find her very cliche.Her songs are not better that the stupid music of britney 9 years ago.
In the 2nd picture I think she looks like Courtney Love.
She looks better than usual, IMO. Maybe she has a lost a touch but she is also somewhat toned down and that suits her.

I think she got super thin to do her video “Bad Romance” and then probably gained most of it back. If you watch the video, she’s about the same size there as she is in the second picture, while the first picture is her more natural figure.

She’s amazing, great body,though I’ve heard her talk about not eating carbs and such,so she definitely works at it. She is is as young as she says she is.
And whats the deal, just because she isn’t what one would call “classically beautiful” doesn’t mean she’s fugly. Lady Gaga has a unique look, embraces it and everyone should take a lesson from that. She shouldn’t have to get a nosejob to blend in with all the others. What kind of message would that send?

Thin but not too thin. This body/look suits her. To me she is pretty and unique. She is also a fantastic artist and performer. She has definitely made a name for herself!

Are you sure that’s Lady Gaga on stage? It just doesn’t look like her. Believe me, I’m totally obsessed with Lady Gaga – I luv her music. Say what you will about her looks/outfits, they have gotten her noticed and her name remembered. Gotta give her props for that. And I think that’s part of her appeal – what the heck is she wearing now!!!
The only bad thing I can say about her has been already mentioned – what’s up with her boobs? I’ve had 2 kids, (one of which is a year old), breastfed both and even my boobs aren’t that saggy.
I was at the concert on Saturday night and she is so tiny in person. Small bone structure and quite thin. I would say the picture of her sitting with the glasses on is most representative of what she looked like on Sat night.

She obviously had her lips plumped (see last video), so the ultimate transformation has started. She has a good body, but that wannabe artistic over-the-top act takes away from any real talent she may have. The likes of her and Kate Parry are too much to handle for my Calvinistic Dutch brain.

She’s lost a LOT of weight since I saw her perform at a concert in May, probably due to her hectic schedule, constant touring and the stress of her father’s illness.
To her credit, it doesn’t look too disproportional since she has a petite frame to begin with.
Hopefully she won’t lose any more weight esp at the back because her butt is to die for! :p

I don’t think you people realize that video can also be retouched. She looks abnormally thin in Bad Romance, and her body isn’t normally like that. I dressed as her for halloween and poured over hundreds of pictures of her to get an idea of what I should wear. You just can’t have legs, arms, and a butt like in the pictures above with a body like the 2nd picture. Lighting can make you look a lot thinner, and I think that has been the case for her recent videos.
Her music is really growing on me. Her style, not so much.

Lol she doesn’t have an ugly face at all. It’s the make-up and costume props on her face that make it look that way. If you put some kind of sparkly unibrow on your forehead, I’m sure you wouldn’t look too hot either. She’s lovely, in my opinion, and she’s got a great body to boot.
