Ish, she does have nice definition in her legs and all in all i think she looks nice though she has a body type i’m not exactly envious of. However, that swimsuit is wrong wrong wrong for her, showing her not so toned tummy, making her back look wider than is b/c of the cut, and making her legs look shorter and booty flatter yet wider b/c the bottom part has a hipsters shape. I don’t know if any of that matters when making a video, seen as they can just make her look how they want her to.

This poor woman is so delusional about what she looks like. She continually pours her… ample… body into tiny little outfits as though she still looks like she did when she first broke into the music business in the 90’s. Joke is, she didn’t wear tiny little stuff back when it would have actually looked good. Everytime I see pictures of her now-a-day I actually feel sorry for her. Seems like she’s trying to cling to her more youthful past or something. She could be pretty if she invested in a mirror and didn’t have “yes” people around her all the time telling her she looks great in these tiny outfits. Yuck!!

Mariah is a beautiful woman, but she simply does not dress to her body type. 1% of people could get away with a swimsuit like that. I wish she would either hire a stylist or fire her current one. She has gained weight but there are many more bathing suits that would be much more flattering than this one.

To be fair, at least she’s in proportion. And doing what she does best- music. It is also worth pointing out, as unflattering as the swimming costume is, as far as music videos are concerned, this outfit is positively non-descript compared to some others I’ve seen in the music video genre

She looks a bit overweight, which can put her at risk for lots of health problems, including diabetes and heart disease. She’s obviously a lovely and talented woman. However, I’m young and thin & still would not wear that swimsuit-much less for a music video (though I guess they can edit it).
This is a definite DON’T for her. She either needs to find a more flattering suit or she doesn’t need to wear one at all. Period.

She’s gained quite a bit of weight since getting married; I’m sure as soon as she sees these pictures of herself, (kind of like Jennifer Love Hewitt did), she’ll go on a diet and loose it because these pictures look bad.
Who remembers when she lost so much weight for her last album? I KNEW this would happen as soon as I saw her gloating on the talk show circuit.
On the other hand though, she is a very well established celebrity and a happy newlywed, and she’s probably not unhealthy, so whatever, let her be.

omg. this is disturbing. she must be like 160 pounds. the last few years it seems like shes just been gaining more and more weight. but of course when the video is made they will edit her in a thousand different ways and probably make her appear 30 pounds lighter. I’m guessing she knows (atleast a little bit) that she’s gotten gross and fat and that she completely didnt expect to be caught in these pictures. Trust me, this video will not have any cuts of her legs and other fatter parts. Once she sees these in print she will be horrified. 40 years old is not old. She should work out and eat less. And having a personal trainer and everything else at her disposal makes this that much less acceptable. She is a size 12 minimum and 50 pounds overweight. She was so cute in her late 20s and early 30s when she was thin.

I’m all for female empowerment, but Carey needs a little more perspective and a reality check. Being 40 can be fabulous if you’re willing to embrace the number. Don’t cling desperately to a time gone by. I hope when she picks up on this, she passes the message on to Pammie, who – in her own right – is a 40+ hurtful to the eyes.

Yeah, Mariah is kind of chunky these days but she carries the extra weight with the supreme confidence of a woman who is one of the most successful recording artists of all time, is exceedingly wealthy, smart, happily married, and happy in her own skin. I love Mariah and her beautiful voice, she’s divalicious and clearly doesn’t give a f*ck about what people think of her weight.
I do think, however, that she’d look better if she slimmed down a bit or at least wore outfits that flattered her figure rather than looking as if she had been stuffed in her clothes.

There is no way she is a 14-16. I would guess at 5′9″ ish (?) she’s a size 8-10. I think she looks pretty healthy, come on people, there is no way she is at risk for obesity-related illnesses. I just wanted to add that I think it’s good that she is confident enough to wear these revealing outfits. She makes much of the idea that people do not have to be perfect—I wouold bet that first husband made a big deal about how she had to control her weight for the good of her career—and she will always resent him for it.
