I love Teri’s character on Desperate Housewives… she is the most “real” out of all of them, next to Felicity Huffman’s character. I like how Susan tends to be clumsy at times, is a self admitted failure in the kitchen, and doesn’t have the perfect married life… basically, those things are things that REAL people can relate to (like me, I can’t cook for sh*t, my husband does all the cooking! To compensate I do laundry.. thats one thing that is hard to mess up!) and I’m definitely a clutz… always tripping, spilling, dropping, etc.. so its refreshing to see someone who isn’t the cookie-cutter suburban housewife with the “perfect” life, but still manages to be happy.
