Yeah, anorexic is her look, that’s never gonna change. I don’t like anything she’s wearing, but I love the assistants’ boots. And possibly hair, face and body.
She is so tiny but i like her. She seems so sweet and real on her show but she might have a problem though.

honestly, i don’t know how her husband can let her be that unhealthy. she even says herself she’s so stressed that she barely eats or sleeps, and she’s always drinking coffee. it’s scary, stress kills people. i’m thin, but even if i miss a meal my boyfriend tells me i need to eat. she really needs to take better care of herself

To me her face looks as if she had put on old age makeup for theatre. Im not sure how this is, the hair and clothes for the hollywood young just doesn’t suit the face.

Tragic. Rachel’s ED has her looking like such an old, wrinkled woman in the face.

I really do think that she a) doesn’t eat because she is stressed out all the time, being to busy to eat, or b) She has a fast metabolism. I really don’t think she is anorexic. Either way, I like her and her show!

Everybody in the biz knows RZ has an eating disorder. She’s had it most of her adult life and goes up and down maybe 5 ppunds. As soon as she gains it, she freaks out and loses it.
On her show a huge deal was made about her being so ill from Vertigo. Too bad Rachel couldn’t come out with her ED and be of help to some younger women who suffer.
By the way folks, Rachel has been lying about her age for years. By 10 years. That would explain part of the reason she looks so old. The other part is her unhealthy obsession with being too thin.
It will indeed shorten her life.
As for the outfit she’s wearing in this pic, sorry to say, but awful.
I wouldn’t doubt your words dascoop. She’s admitted to not taking care of herself which really translates to ‘I eat every three days just to get by.’ And I’ve always thought she must be in her 40’s. Sadly, I enjoy her show…a little too much.

I used to dislike her but since I saw on her show that she wasn’t a psychob**** or anything like that I started to like her. Oh yeah, and she’s a bona fide fashion guru. I don’t get why people don’t like this outfit. It’s absolutely fine and she works it because she’s skinny.

I used to like her. But all this obsession about weight is annoying. In fact, her body looks like the body of a twelve-year old. And her face looks really old. the cheeks remind me of a bulimic look.
She seems not to have a lot of fun in her life, no sparkle in her eyes.

this chick is like an advertisement for EDs… makes me sick to think anyone might want to have her body, not because i find her unattractive, but because she oozes bad health – it is absolutely tragic!
i’ve read an interview with her in the past and she is living in the twilight zone too! her husband has to remind her to eat, what a waste of life!
Not eating has really taken a toll on her face. I like her style though. She is very dedicated!

I don’t really think she looks as bad as people are saying she does. She’s probably thinner than is ideal for her, but, otherwise, I think she looks decent-particularly, if she really is in her 40s rather than in her 30s. Also, I think this is a cute outfit-maybe a little bit on the young side, but she pulls it off a lot better than some of the moms I see out their trying to pull of their teenager’s clothes.

I know I have times when I’m really busy and don’t have time to eat but I have a hard time believing that you forget to eat for a whole day.
Some people can pull off being this skinny because it’s their actual size. But it looks so forced on Rachel. Her head is still big; too big for her bod.

No! She should be put in stylist prison for this mess. Waay too much going on for such a little frame. And I’ve never thought her hair color suited her skin tone but it’s even more noticable here. She looks like she’s been rustling thru Mary Kate and Ashley’s closet for this one!

She is known for being painfully thin so I’m not even gonna touch on that. (Her clients are also notably thin and they all rock a similiar look)
She totally rocks the outfit she is wearing and whatever work she had done on her face was money well spent ’cause she looks much younger
jules, It’ll probably be an iced latte with non-fat milk. I think the reason we see so many thin celebrities with coffee is that the caffeine helps eliminate hunger pains, which of course is handy if you’re trying to lose weight!
I’ve never seen her show, but this woman looks too tiny, on some frames where it’s natural skinny looks good but on her it looks unatural and unhealthy, if she is a rolemodel to girls she needs to put on a few pounds, it would certainly make her face appear younger! I dont like the outfit!

Expecting her to ‘come out’ with her ED to help people is a huge burden on someone that struggles with it themselves and can’t get better. Doing that would mean having to get better, and it’s just not that simple.
She is a grown woman/makes her own money and she is functional – there is no way to institutionalize her against her will. Unless her husband or family tie her up and shove food into her against her will (which would NOT cure her ED or fix anything) there is nothing they can do! She would have to be even thinner before being put into a hospital against her own will as she is not underage and no one has legal rights over her except in extreme circumstances…
At least she hovers in the same weight range and tries not to dip into low double digits. I know it sounds like a cop out, but for some sufferers that is a way to compromise and ‘live with’ their ED rather than give into it. In her line of work it must be even harder, because ‘regular sized’ people can’t fit into the clothes she loves.

In a LA Times article a while back she mentioned she drinks 1 or 2 venti lattes all day & smokes. That is it.

So true, Claire!! She has smoker’s lines around her mouth… the lack of food, sleep, and probable drinking don’t help either.
When I watched the show, she did mention her SB drink order, which was something like tea with two Splenda.
Also when watching the show, you see she literally doesn’t have a minute to spare, so no time to eat. Plus she’s under stress 24/7. Eating disorder or not, she’s probably just one of those people that doesn’t eat when she’s stressed, and she’s stressed all the time. Those venti drinks all day long must keep her filled up at least so she can run all day on no food.
She seems sweet, I love her show, I love her style. Yes, she’s over dramatic and full of herself, but at least she loves what she does.
I just hope she gets healthier, whatever way that may be.

She’s not lying about her age, certainly not by 10 years. There have been yearbook pictures of her and they looked to be classic mid-80s, so there are pics of her looking 16is in 1986ish, which makes her born in 1970 or 71, which is what age she says she is.
If you’ve watched the show, you’ve seen her sister show up with the same emaciated body & puffy face and she has kids and isn’t into fashion, so you can see that Rachel would look like she does no matter her lifestyle.
However, like people have said, she clearly is anorexic, most telling for me is her (seemingly) throw-away comment about wishing coffee had vitamins. Who wants zero calorie drinks to contain nutrition so that they don’t have to eat? Anorexics, that’s who. Her husband Rodger needs to strap her down and force her to get help, LITERALLY!
