She was a terrible singer actress, so I’m actually hoping this Broadway thing works for her. If she sucks at this too she might have some sort of meltdown about what to do with her life. Oh her body, it always looks pretty good clothed but in a bikini it’s boyish with very little waist.

Jessica is the prettier one and Ashlee is the conceded poser no talent of the two. I’m surprised they took a risk and hired her for a Broadway Show. I will be shocked if this gets good reviews and sells tickets.
As for the chin, it could scare a few kids, that’s for sure.

not sure if it’s the jumpsuit or what, but she’s not looking so good. and since when can she sing AND act well enough to be on broadway?
And to think, so many people spend thousands on drama school and risk everything, moving away from family and friends with barely anything to survive on, and they give a role like that, to her.

She is not the prettier of the two. Maybe the skinnest. But…neither sister have talent if you ask me. Her body has always been weird but in these clothes she looks kinda normal. Except in the first and third pic…she looks like one of those scary possesed kids or something…freaky.
I think in a musical the acting that is required is often not so subtle and maybe that suits her. If I was in NY I’d go check it out.
Bodywise, she doesn’t look as skinny, which is understandable, how else would she be strong enough to perform every night?

It does look like she has gained some weight but it’s probably muscle from all the intense dance workouts she would have got from rehearsing for Chicago! I think that Jessica is the prettier sister!
What a bore. The only time I really liked the way she looked was when she did the “Outta my Head” music video, but she got pregnant right after that.
I hope she does well at this. She WAS a terrible singer/actress, but hanging off her sister’s coattails got her the attention she seems to need and a crapload of money. I feel with the money she’s made it would have been really smart to take singing/acting lessons and practiced lots though so she didn’t suck, not just buy a new face. Most people don’t get the opportunities she’s gotten. At any rate it would have been smart to at least not act like a brat. Ppl like Hilary Duff aren;t amazing actresses/singers (admittedly better than Ashlee) but ppl still like them because they seem like mature likeable ppl. Then again intelligence doesn’t seem to be a dominant trait in the Simpson gene pool either.

I agree she is a terrible singer and an actress, which makes me wonder what the heck she’s doing on Broadway, singing and acting. Maybe it is the fact that she doesn’t have to be subtle, like someone mentioned, but she still has to know how to act, it’s just a different style, but very respected. And what a horror if she can’t sing the songs. Maybe she’s gotten better. But Broadway is the most respected stage in the theater world and i think it’s a shame a person with questionable talent is allowed to perform there just b/c of her celeb status. I wait to stand corrected…

She has definitely gained. On a side note… can she pick a hair color that actually works for her. A few months ago it was that blood orange and now it’s blue black. Please Ashley! Get your hair color right for once. Maybe a shade of blonde with highlights.
Growing up, I was a not so attractive looking kid with a beautiful sister (with a personality to match) so I know how it feels to be “overlooked”. In my experience, the best way to overcome your insecurities is to find your own path and talent. I truly feel that Ashlee is still on the wrong path. Showbizz and fashion are not her calling. Maybe it’s all she knows, but I hope she’ll start thinking outside the box sometime soon, because this musical part too does not seem to suit her.

That first picture is scary. Hopefully her singing overperformed this mess… which might have not been case, I guess. Figurewise she looks tiny and not sexy or hot at all (which can be put to a extreme seeing Jessica in the other post!).

I wonder why people say Jessica is prettier? They both got their plastic faces from plastic surgeons. There is nothing natural about these girls so it is hard to say who is prettier. I would say they both are ugly cause they both needed so many surgeries and they still don’t look beautiful.

Don’t like the outfit/costume or the severe black hair that Ashlee is sporting. (Of course, hated the horrid blood ORANGE hair she had had previously)..I know it is “for her part” in the Broadway Musical of Chicago. I agree w/Becky…any weight gain(s) are definitely due to the intense training/dancing and the show itself. Her legs look a bit more muscular. When she is NOT doing the musical…and she’s wearing jeans or pants of nearly any type..her legs look MUCH THINNER. (JMHO). She’s playing Roxie in that musical, isn’t she? She played the same part (Roxie) when she played in Chicago Musical when she was in England a couple years back (before Bronx was conceived)!
She looks so much better with dark hair and some kind of style instead of her usual boring hair just hanging down. And her chin isn’t as prominent in these pictures than usual… great!

i think she’s lame and all too but it’s not like she’s the first crappy Roxie on Broadway. it’s a go to part for marginally talented actresses who want to pretend they’re versatile by saying they’ve done Broadway even they’re handed the parts for press. The whole show is about famewhores, no matter how she plays it she’ll be convincing.
