I have no idea who this girl is, but I would strongly recommend her a new do. Furthermore, when someone’s head and body seem like a mismatch in terms of seize, it usually means that she or he is at an unnatural weight. Just saying.

You just can’t tell how thin she is in these shots. On the show she’s so skinny and hideous. I’m always making people who haven’t seen the show start watching it with me and there’s always atleast one scene where they gasp when Deb comes onscreen. She’s shockingly thin on Dexter, even compared to Julie Benz who has gotten pretty slim herself.
That costar is her husband. As soon as I learned that they were married in real life it ruined the show for me. Might sound ridiculous but it did. Jennifer is a buttaface. What a waste of a good body.

I read an interview with the creator of Dexter where he talked about how the thing he gets the most mail about is complaining about Deb’s anorexia. He said she eats onset, she’s just naturally extremely thin.

LOVE the show, Dexter, and Jennifer Carpenter’s character Deb is a definite fave. I always just assumed that she was naturally very lean… she has great skin and hair so I think she looks like she eats and takes care of herself.

The jeans are AG … I am guessing she is taller than 5′6, I’d say 5′8 or 5′9 I think she is pretty tall. She is almost as tall as Michael C!
She is very thin on the show but I always got the impression that it’s natural for her, since her hips are so narrow. I love her on the show but I don’t think much of her fashion sense in real life, judging from this outfit.

I love the show. I just started watching this season. I had no idea that they are married! Love it! I think she is naturally slim because she has nice skin & hair. Those are the first to go without good nutrition. She also has a narrow build. I love Deb and the way she always says ”FUCK!“

She was in the movie ‘Exorcism of Emily Rose’. She was very very skinny in that movie too and she looks healthy even though she is extremely thin. I’d guess she’s one of the lucky people who are just naturally very skinny. I have a relative who is the same way.
I love Dexter…best show ever and Deb is such a great character. I believe Carpenter is much taller than 5′6″…she’s nearly as tall as her male costars so I would peg her at around 5′9″.
