Kitti, it’s not about the kind of outfit in my opinion. It’s about the shirt. It’s full of holes and I would be very embarrassed if I was her. My mum wouldn’t let me leave home if I wore something I should throw away.
I agree with ‘kitti’- seriously who cares about what she is wearing? She obviously wanted to cover up.. and just threw on old clothes, she is just going for a jog after all, not a film premier.
I always forget how small her and her sister are, she looks pretty normal, thin and curvy. Its good that she is working out though, maybe MK shouldfollow her example.

When I do exercise I try to wear comfy clothes like that but not so much specific exercise clothes. That way I don’t feel like I’m exercising more like I’m just doing normal everyday stuff just running or riding there. Maybe she is as lazy as me about exercise and just didnt want to feel like she was exercising… i don’t know. But I do love how she doesn’t care what anyone else thinks of what she’s wearing. She always looks individual even if people say it looks weird or “unfashionable” who are you to dictate fashion it’s like “what a sheep”.

i don’t care about her shirt with holes b/c all of us should be used to those twins wearing hono stuffs by now. what bothers me are the sunglasses. they are beautiful but do you know how it feels like when running and your face becomes sweaty and your glasses start to glide down your nose? and those glasses are huge!
dont get mad but i think i would actually wear something like that to exercise in if i was a celebrity. who would want to be photographed when working out? i would feel totally exposed so an over-sized, hide-everything shirt makes sense

I really don’t understand why everyone is having a go at her for what she’s wearing. Who’s to say what someone should wear when they exercise – is anyone who doesn’t wear designated ‘gym clothes’ an unfashionable idiot? I wear leggings when i work out all the time and a big loose shirt wouldn’t be as uncomfortable as a skin tight top that would show all your sweat marks (in my opinion). At least she’s wearing appropriate footwear which is the most important thing.
Plus i love her style, she mixes old second hand gear with her designer stuff instead of being top to toe in the latest and most expensive trends.
I don’t know, maybe it’s cold and her other workout clothes are short sleeved? Give her a break, would you weed your garden in a nice shirt? Heck no. Maybe she just doesn’t want to get her nice clothes dirty.

I don’t care how she looks, if anything i admire her ability run in such a garment. The i-pod in her hand, the sunglasses, the oversized shirt, i would feel very uncomfortable. I have trouble just making sure the earbuds don’t fall off, let alone i had to worry about sunglasses too, and i couldn’t carry anything in my hands. As for clothes, big stuff actually is more in the way, the wind gets to it and it can get wrapped around your body uncomfortably. And if i train hard, i rather use clothes that absorbe sweat than feel wet and cold. But that’s just me, as i said, i only admire her ability to run in whatever
I don’t care about her outfit–I’m looking at her body. I guess some would consider her “healthy” but deap down she is probably EXTREMELY irritated at herself for gaining this much weight. I say, she weighs somewhere between 110-115…I feel bad for her, actually. No wonder why I haven’t seen her out-&-about like she used to be.

Good for Ashley…at least she is working out (jogging or power walking..whatever it is she’s doing). Why would she dress up in “formal work-out clothes”…like we see some celebs wearing to the gyms, etc.? Some celebs seem to like to show off the most stylish work-out outfits. Ashley dresses bo-ho chic ..almost like a bag lady most of the time. Why would she dress any differently when she is working out?? She does yoga, too. Now maybe she has added jogging?? Too bad that she & M-K don’t dress better (in general)…especially if they are such terrific fashion icons!

I agree that the shirt she chose to go jogging in looks a little odd, but I don’t think her outfit is ridiculous or anything. It looks like she decided to go jogging spontaneously without changing first. I wonder what MK would have worn lol. I also wonder how expensive her torn and tattered shirt was…but anyways it’s good to see her out exercising, I feel inspired.
Tingle, I totally agree. She knows the paparazzi stalk her every move so maybe she didn’t want her body scrutinized. I’d use a thin over-sized shirt to cover up too because anything else would get too hot once you warmed up. Maybe it’s one of her boyfriend’s old shirts? I’ve worn those for affectionate reasons rather than for fashion ones.
I don’t care for her body, she has to be thin because she is so short. Otherwise the weight shows like it does in these pictures. I like wicking material to run in so this ripped button down seems odd to me.
I have to admit I couldn’t even concentrate on the acutal pictures because the idea of an Olsen twin jogging is soooo weird to me. They just seem so…. not human? I don’t know. But its just like one of them to do something normal people have to do and have one thing a bit off, in this case, the weird holey uncomfortable-looking button down.
That said, good for her! The Olsen twins could be so gorgeous if they just took care of themselves better. I hope Ashley’s influencing MK to do the same cause she just looks terrible these days.
I think the sunglasses and long sleeved shirt seem impractical for exercising in but the bottom half looks fine. Good on her for trying to be healthier!

Don’t you know when you run and wear long sleeve you sweat more therefore you sweat off more calories. Ugh:( People dissapoint me. On another note, if these two are working out then I need to start.

People aren’t moaning about the shirt just because it looks odd and is torn. It looks more like a hiking outfit, btw, that’s one thing.
The whole other thing is that is not the kind of material you want to get hot and sweaty while jogging in. It gets pretty damp and stays that way and then it gets heavy. It just makes you wonder if she was going for a walk and started running when she spotted the men with cameras or if she actually went jogging in that shirt premeditatively. OR if she just didn’t intend to work up a sweat.
Seems a little disingenuous either way you look at it, which is why people will mention it.
I can completely relate to wearing something like that when working out. I’m not a big fan of working out in general, and wearing suggested running gear makes it all the much worse. I hate those nike singlets and tights. Or even a regular sweatpants. I would honestly rather go jogging in a pair of jeans or something. And really, what’s more comfortable than wearing an oversized shirt. No thugging or squeezing anywhere. It’s probably one of her boyfriend’s old shirts or something, which could explain the holes.
And to me, MK and A doesn’t seem like the people who dress for the public, but rather what they want. And Ashley probably didn’t leave the house that morning thinking ” I really hope those paparazzies get a shot of me now”.

My problem with what she’s wearing is not that it isn’t fashionable…it’s that it seems it wouldn’t be very practical for jogging. It looks like she would continually have to adjust that shirt from riding up or around the neck area (since it’s so open) when bouncing up and down in the jog. I mean, she doesn’t have to wear something fancy and expensive. Grab a donated t-shirt or hoodie for some long sleeves. Something that actually fits. That shirt should be saved for gardening or yard work instead. The hair clip really is hilarious though.

As someone who is frequently jogging in Hollywood in old T-shirts and “downscale” clothing, this is still a really odd outfit for Ashley. She’s a designer, remember, without her own clothing line even if it is sold in Walmart. Plus she’s always known for being fashion forward. Strange. Very “Silverlake Hipster” as we say in the industry.
