Shouldn’t she be eating a bit more now that she’s pregnant? It’s ok that’s she’s dieting or whatever when she’s not pregnant, but she should be putting her baby first and make sure it gets enough nutrition.

Damn her legs are frickin skinny in the “11 year old girl” way not the toned normal skinny. I am sure that isn’t great for her or the baby – does the baby get the nutrition it needs or is she too scared about losing the baby weight after, so is keeping to a minimal diet throughout the pregnancy? Skinny Pregnant women should never be.

it’s so unfair. pregnancy does not start to show on these tall women until very late (cf. gisele bündchen). she looks very stylish and classy. hope she gets enough nutrients for herself and the baby though.
if she’s 5 months pregnant it means she was pregnant in the ID cover with Eva Herzigova and Helena Christensen! that is impossible! she was tiny in that shot!

She looks fine. You don’t have to blimp-out just because you are pregnant. I’m sure she’s eating healthy — after all this is her third kid and the other two turned out just find regardless of her horrendously emaciated state. *rolls eyes*

Her knees look a little knobby, but I assume she has a team of nutritionists, yoga instructors, massage therapists, personal shoppers at her beck and call.
I love her style – always elegant and a little offbeat at the same time. I find it hard to believe that she’s five months already, looks sooo slender.

I concur with Andrejaa: she should eat a bit more, because this is not a healthy looking pregnant woman. Dieting during pregnancy may have serious health implications for your baby. Studies show that food and healthy fats are essential for the development of the infant brain. From where I stand, looking good is just not worth taking any risks when it comes to your kid. And given the fact that Schiffer has done it twice before, she doesn’t have to worry about permanent weight gain.
Since when is she pregggers? Wow she hides it really well with the bag and scarf though. Still to be five months pregnant her face, arms, legs are very thin!I guess some women only gain in their stomach? She still has a horse face and i hate her bangs, i swear her hair looks liek a wig. HOw old is she? She looks to be like mid-forties?

sorry i have just never liked her face! she is thin…maybe too thin…she seems happy tho and that’s great for her. hope she has a nice pregnancy and doesnt feel too much pressure to thin down quickly like other models and celebs. surely there is a time in a womans life when she doesnt have to worry about that (not that they should have to worry at ANY stage)

She looks very thin at five months pregnant. Her legs look very untoned like she doesn’t work out a great deal which implies that she’s maintaining that low weight by not eating enough.
On the plus side, I love her scarf.
In the past I didn’t love her too much but now I adore her! She looks beautiful, happy and balanced, her hair and style are beautiful and sophisticated too and she is almost 40! Before criticize her guys do the same after her please!
For those of you who are saying she should eat more: Maybe she can’t. I was pretty nauseous throughout my whole pregnancy and couldn’t manage a lot of food. Perhaps the same applies to her?
What a tiny bump! They say the baby is due in May. Unbelievable…
The comments about eating more are crap. I’m due around the same time as her and look almost identical to her right now. I’m hypoglycemic, so I’m eating constantly to keep my sugar up and consuming AT LEAST 2500 calories per day. It’s very easy to lose mass in your arms/legs when you’re supporting a bump in your middle. Some people just have faster metabolisms, and my OB said you should never judge a pregnant woman by their bodies. Just because she’s thin doesn’t mean she’s unhealthy.

I don’t understand the criticisms here. Gisele was ultra-thin during her pregnancy, up to her last month. Maybe ’cause she’s younger than Claudia that she gets a pass. Anyway, Claudia looks fine. Can’t get over she’s not in her 40’s though.

she looks fine, she is tall and always was skinny so she won’t gain much weight during the pregnancy (look at many models, Nicole Kidman).
I don’t think its fair to single her out- what about Natalia Vodianova, for example? She was a little waif through all of her pregnancies…most models are!

First of all: where are the pictures of Claudia that you were looking at? Because I don’t see her looking older than she is. Neither her face nor her hands look older than 39 to me. Also I’m wondering why she’s called “ugly” here?! She looks fabulous. Period.
