Even More Thin Models On The Catwalk

They look great actually. Not too thin at all.
They look so incredibly narrow (many of them anyway), just tiny! They might be too skinny, i don’t really know, but i find that sorta fragile looking body type very cute.

I don’t think they look “emanciated”, too thin for average? Yes. But actually, pretty perfect in the modeling world. There are a couple that look naturally thin and a couple you can see exercise, IMO.
Of course, my view might be a little scewed cause i do model & I see girls this size a lot :/ but quite honestly I’ve seen girls A LOT skinnier than this..
Are these some of those french women who don’t get fat?
That first model is breathtaking. Beautiful, great body, even the hair and makeup look good. Obviously not for everyday wear but good nonetheless.

Lets not get ahead of outselves, this is the fashion business. Surely there has to be one profession in life where it’s acceptable to not look average without putting pressure on ‘normal people’ to look this thin. Besides, love it or hate it, but the truth is clothes DO look better when wore by skinny models.
Just take yesterday’s post on Doutzen Kroes as an example. I’m sure she’s thinner than 95% of us in reality, but people were bashing her for looking too big compared to the other VS models. Yet we’re all so quick to lash out on runway models for looking to skinny. So what do you really want? ‘Normal’ or ‘average looking’ won’t last long out there. It’s not interesting.

Rian thanks for the model posts. These ladies are definitely skinny but they do not look unhealthy. They look very tall and lean.

i agree with emily that not only are they thin, their bones seem really tiny too! some of them look more nourished than others – i don’t like them when they look as though they’re literally wasting away. it’s not pretty.
I think they look fine, no one seems sick. They all look thin and health!

I agree 100% with Em. Models are showing off the clothes-and clothes do look better and are easier to style with thinner women.

Model posts are a total bore. You expect them to be skinny, they’re not getting any bigger. If I want to check out the designers show then I go to a fashion web site, but here it’s just a waste of space. Celebrities are much more interesting than no name models.

I think the clothes and the models in this set of pics are far more beautiful than the first!! The girl in the green dress with the long hair is gorgeous.

The models of before-the Cindy’s, Claudia’s, Christy’s, Linda’s looked amazing in the clothes and they were not skeletal. So no, i don’t agree that clothes look better on skinny. They look better on slender with a bit of shape.
We have a very distorted view on what is unhealthy skinny and “just” skinny. I find them all too skinny and none of them would make me look twice at them apart, obviously, from the clothes they are wearing. But they are not women I would turn around for and think “boa, she’s good looking” or “she’s sexy”. They all look in dire need of some of their mother’s home cooked food!
They may look better than previous models but they are still too thin. Sure up there with a bunch of other bony girls they look okay. And sure they look good compared to some models of the past. But in everyday life they would stick out beucase they are so tall and wayyyy to thin. This just shows how warped the worlds definition of thin has become.

is that second girl a former vs model? think i recognize her from 2003 or something but i may be wrong.
