Nice abs, but her legs are THICK. She is rather big boned. You can see it in her rib cage and neck. She will never be teeny tiny like the other VS gals, but she looks good and appeals to the masses.

Did anyone else notice in the VS swimsuit catalog that she is hardly in it at all other than a couple of pictures? I thought this site showed her in a bunch of bikini pics before… guess VS decided to only print those of the stick-skinny girls. I think Doutzen looks hot, definitely would give us girls an idea of what the swimsuits look like on someone with a more attainable body.
She has a larger frame than many other VS girls, and she’d look like a walking sceleton if she opted to get as thin as the others. I think she might have gained some, but she’s looking fabulous, and clearly she’s quite fit. Those abs.. Her legs aren’t twigs, but i wonder if they’re all muscle or flabby underneath those pants, i tend not to like bigger legs if they don’t have definition, but i have a feeling i’d like Doutzens legs just fine.
I agree! There are lots of different figures I find attractive, but this girl has a PERFECT body IMO.

This is an example of how you don’t have to be stick thin to look good. THIS is what healthy “curvy” looks like but I bet if you saw her on the street or knew her in person you’d think she was thin. But she has muscle and you can see her toned obliques so I don’t think she has to lose any weight at all.

I’m with Heather…a lot of the 15 yr. olds on here saying she “needs to lose weight” wouldn’t remember this, but when some of us mid-20s and up were young, VS Models actually looked like WOMEN! Amazing, I know!!
I agree, Beckster. I’m 21 but I remember when the VS shows were in their ‘prime’ (in my opinion) and wanting to look like them. Most the girls are way too thin..for high fashion i can understand. but this years VS show I couldn’t believe it
She has a hot body. I love it and I like her thighs which do have a little bit of weight. Why are so many people obsessed with chicken legs? I’m not super crazy about her face. She obviously very pretty but I just don’t think she stands apart.

Oh zip it you little b-ches! She does NOT have big thighs. I’d like to see pictures of YOU running, see how stellar and amazing your shape looks when in in full motion. Be sure that she looks at least 10 lbs skinnier in reality which means she’s thin. Hands down the hottest one of the VS models.

I agree with Heather and Beckster. But then again, I’m not 15 years old. THIS is an ideal woman’s body, in my opinion. Maybe it’s just a generational thing; all the little teeny-boppers who read this site prefer that women look like underdeveloped boys, with spindly little legs and skeletal arms. But the WOMEN reading this site know what looks good, feels good, and is attractive to men who are not, um, fashion designers.

Now this is how a woman should look like. A model should look like this. Why advertise all this apparel when you know that whoever’s wearing it clearly isn’t what normal people look like. Granted Doutzen is very beautiful and looks above the average human.
She’s definitely the healthiest and best-looking Victoria’s Secret model. The others are too skinny (Alessandra, Miranda, Chanel Iman). I hope Adriana Lima gets back on the runway soon. She was the only other fit and healthy VS model besides Doutzen.

She is definitely not “chubby” or “chunky” or she doesn’t “still lose a few”. It really maddens me when someone gives comments like that. I mean, just look at her! Any person who doesn’t have a twisted body image can see that she’s a really healthy woman in her close-to ideal weight. Miranda kerr has a great body too. I think their frames are different but they both have healthy body fat, just for their frame. Miranda kerr can loose a lot of weight without looking emaciated. Doutzen looks too thin when she looses a lot.
Doutzen says she works out a lot because she likes to eat a lot. It’s a choice, starving yourself to be skinny or eating healthy and in moderation and work out a lot.
The word gorgeous just about sums her up. She’s just so goddess like! There’s nothing ugly or unappealing to the eye about this girl. Although Miranda and alessandra are obviously extremely pretty, there’s something very harsh about them and they are too skinny. They just don’t look ‘right’ somehow.. When I look at a picture of them I’m actually quite shocked.. They aren’t natural looking.

normally i like really thin models… but in reality i feel like while she has been blessed this is at least something girls can strive for and not become ill.

If more models were at a healthier size and weight I’m pretty sure people would get over the thin craze. Slim is good but honestly an emaciated body is not beautiful. Doutzen looks radient and glowing with health obviously she does not starve herself but takes pride in her body by choosing to eat healthy and work out. You have a body for a reason and only one at that. Might as well take care of it.

i disagree that she would look odd if she’s skinny like the rest of the VS models, because in the 2006 (i think) VS show, she was as skinny as them.
