If only we were on the right website to start a debate about evolution…… Whoever thinks its FACT, needs to do more research and see the pitholes in all the “scientific” evidence! @Sarah: Uh, evolution hasn’t stopped? Evolution doesn’t happen in a matter of seconds–it’s a very gradual and slow adaptation. There have been recent case studies about evolution among animals, specifically birds: research the Black Cap warbler, or the Galapagos’ finch. You may want to research about the overall concept of evolution as well, since it seems you think we should all be “evolutionizing” into a different specie as fast as humans turn into werewolves or something.
On topic: I adore that dress on her. The cut is just right, along with the material it’s overall feminine. McCord has a lovely fit body. There’s something attractive and admirable about a woman who pushes a bit harder to be in shape.

Dear Sarah, the concept of evolution according to Darwin has been long accepted by the scientific community at large. There are no ‘pitholes’. The real question to me is why religious people have such problems incorporating it into their Christian worldview. The bible (and the koran) are NOT meant to be taken literally, there is a lot of room for evolution.
dum-dum, I don’t mean to be petty, but I think I have to correct you there: we didn’t start as apes, apes and humans merely share the same predecessor (don’t ask me about the name, I forgot) and then developed into different branches, so to speak. If we were descendants of apes, apes would have to be extinct. Sorry to feel the need to impose my endless wisdom on you

@Sian: Ah, I try to stay current with news articles. There was a 2009 article written about the Black Cap warbler in the UK, and how human interference within bird-feeding has lead to a “speeding” and “changing” evolution for the birds. The article contains much more detail, though.
Some of us are well aware of the fact that dum-dum was simply trying to create a joke. But of course, if you mention a highly-debated topic, of course there is a large chance of a debate arousing from it.
