It was revealed in a recent Life & Style article (February 8th) that Jennifer has lost 3 dress sizes and is now back to a size 0. Jennifer claims she lost the weight by “cutting out the good stuff” like bagels, croissants and muffins, and is now back to eating salad and protein. She also started working out on the treadmill.
(They make it sound so easy!)

not buying the size 0 either. 2/4, yes. not that it even matters if she’s a 0 or not, by the looks of it she’d suit being a few lbs heavier anyway! I always find it a bit strange when people diet beyond what they’re naturally meant to be because they want to be slim (I’m looking at you right now, Kelly Osbourne), because it just looks so contrived and uncomfortable. People look best when they weigh something they can maintain quite easily, I think.

I always thought that she has been thin and healthy. Size 0 though, not something that she should be shouting about – not exactly healthy.

and i agree with how they make it sound really easy. i’m doing the same kind of thing, eating loads of salad and protien, and working out on the treadmill, but i definitely havent dropped 3 dress sizes!

I loved the dress till I scrolled down and saw the bubble-bottom. Also don’t think it needs the sash. Ah well. She looks really young here – like a kid. I’d like to see her chop that hair for a more sophisticated style. She’s thin, but I can’t believe she’s a size ZERO! How tall is she???
I think that Jennifer Garner is far too sensible and NORMAL, more than anything, to go down to a size 0. She might be a size 4 (British size 8), possibly even a 6, but no way is she a 0. I think that quote about ‘cutting out the good stuff’ was taken from after she had her first baby anyway, so is way out of context.
I agree that she could do with putting on a bit of weight, she has next to no bust, which is not preferable for any woman…
Also, I exercise quite a bit and run quite long distances, and you do not get arms like that just from the treadmill. I would bet money that she does an intensive full body workout 6-7 times a week, and eats very healthily.
She looks so average. Not in a bad way really, just a little boring. And she cold be a 0, I’d guess a 2, but who cares really, all stars lie about that stuff and it’s hard for us to tell in pics anyway.
Err yeah the color is definitely not for her imo. (This coming from someone who loves reds, purples and pinks so it’s not the color itself that’s the problem)

I don’t think she’s a Size 0 = she’s quite tall isn’t she? (checks IMDB page) – yup, she’s 5′8″ and would look scarey skinny as a 0. She’s probably a 4 as someone else suggested, but that apart she looks FANTASTIC – slender, muscled, fit.
And why does she need to be a size 0?? I don’t get it. Celebrities and magazines are effing up women’s minds by throwing about these ’sizes’…..no one care’s what ’size’ someone is…..if they are fit and healthy they will look good no matter what the label of the garment says the size of it is. You can still be a size 0 and have a muffin top…..and also wear a size 8 and be lean and muscular.
Not a size 0, her rib cage is too big to fit into a size 0 dress… Not that that matters.
This dress is so ugly and out of style and a terribly unflattering color. I don’t know why she doesn’t work with a stylist?? Also, her hair color is awful, it looks like she is in chlorine all of the time and its greenish, faded, and damaged.
Finally, her legs and feet are gross looking. Sorry.

She needs to do something with her hair. Those flyaways and frizz are ugly. She just looks common. The cut arms are from weights. That does not happen on the treadmill. Been there.done that.

They make it seem so easy because it is just habit, once you change your habits it isn’t as difficult.
I also do not see her as being a size zero but I do think she dropped 3 sizes, she was big with her pregnancy.
I like her and think she’s very pretty, but she’d look even better with a few more lbs on her frame. And the rampant paranoia about carbs creeps me out. Go ahead and eat a bagel or croissant, Jen!

I believe that she dropped three dress sizes since immediately after she had the baby, but if she fits into a size 0, then that’s pure vanity sizing. Not that she should, she’s rather tall and muscular. And btw, to those who said that you have to put a lot of effort into developing arm muscles like that, that might be true for most, but there are people (my sister, for example, and she hates it) that can build muscle tone quite easily and without putting a lot of time and effort into it. And Jennifer has always looked pretty toned, I don’t think she looks thinner here than in her ALIAS days.
I usually think she’s pretty but she looks “different” in these photos. I doubt she’s a 0 and she looks really pale.
I like her well enough in movies so I cannot figure out why every still shot I see of her is so unattractive. Maybe she just has one of the faces that are better captured moving??

Hmm..well, I must be the only person who thinks that she does look like a size zero. She doesn’t look like “drug addict” size zero – she looks like a fit and healthy size zero. Size zero doesn’t automatically mean a person has baggy undereyes and an obvious drug problem or issues with eating.
She has broader shoulders, leaner arms, narrow waist and toned legs. Definitely not the ultra curvy men’s magazine type body that I think many on here agree to be the most “acceptable” definition of the female form. I am 5′7″ and my body shape looks quite a bit like hers. I am also a size zero. Probably couldn’t guess it by looking at pictures of me either! And as far as her “ultra toned arms?” Why are they too toned? I don’t see any bulging muscles or anything? They just don’t look to have any “squish” to them! Put me on a treadmill and my arms look the same way after a couple weeks – no lifting required!
Anyway, who cares about what size she is? She looks awesome! You can tell by her body that she has healthy habits and I think that is all that counts!
I think when these magazines, or celebrities, refer to their size, they often use their dress size, rather than their pants size. The term “dress size” is pretty vague, and generally is used in tandem with jeans size, meaning what pants fit you (26 or 2, 27 or 4), that’s what your “dress size” is. However, it’s perfectly plausible to reason that she is referring to when wearing a dress, as her dress size, and in that case, it’s reasonable to assume she is a size 0. I definitely cannot fit into a size 0 pair of jeans/pants (I wear a 2/4 – same height as Garner, maybe taller), but I do wear a size 0 dress, as dresses are normally cut to fit more snugly on top. I’m sure Garner does wear a size 0 dress, but wears size 4 jeans. This confusion is just an easy way for writers/publications to feed the weight controversy frenzy, without truly lying about it.

She seems frail to me. Sure she’s got tone and muscle, but I mean overall something seems off. Not eating enough, not enough vitamins maybe? Which surprises me because she has always seemed like the poster girl for healthy living what with the farmers market runs and exercising. I certainly don’t expect her to have the body she had 5 years ago but she is just too thin now.
I love pale skin but something about her skin looks unhealthy like she isn’t getting enough nutrients. I hope she is okay.

We all seem to agree on the zero point. First thought, was no way, maybe 2. Why would they lie about that when it’s obvious and also, why brag about zero when it has negative connotations.

sizes are irrelevant any more with size “inflation”. for some brands, as size zero is huge, for other brands a size zero is small. my body hasn’t changed for 10 years and I went from a size 4 to a size 0 – explain that!
I have weighed the same for 10 years. It’s all crazy. Everyone wants to be a size zero so the clothing manufacturers just make size zero larger so more people can fit into it and feel special.

I also thought she was tall, like 5″7/8 but when i was in LA back in august she and ashton kutcher walked right passed me in LAX (apparently they were there to film valentine’s day) and when i say right by me i mean less than a foot away from me no body guards nothing, and i am 5″6 and i was looking down on her. I was SHOCKED at how short she was- makes me think all others in hollywood must be midgets! strange how they lie about their height..

I would say size 4 NOT 0. The only way she is a size O is if she had labels specially made to say 0 and sewn them to her current clothes.

In Italian sizes (European) I believe a size 34 was a size 26/2 sushi. So a 32 I would think is a 25/0 and the 30 is a 24/00.

Ok, Eva, I stand corrected, she’s not tall. Did she look like a normal weight in person, though? In some of the pictures posted of her lately she looks quite thin. Is she really? But, more importantly, what about Ashton, please don’t tell me he’s short, too?
I believe her arms look like that from just running. They don’t seem really defined, just shaped.
Running will sculpt my arms first before my legs.
I honestly think she is a larger size zero! Her arm have some muscle and this dress is making her look bigger but I’m a size 4 and when shes wearing jean she looks tiny!
I agree with everyone who says she’s probably a size 4 if she’s short as Eva(the 2nd) says, and a 6 if tall. What crazy lies, though.
I’m also doubting the size 0 claim. Her athletic build and medium-large bone structure just doesn’t make it seem possible. Jennifer actually doesn’t look too thin in these photographs, but she does looks different … I think that after women have children, they either retain this mommy glow and look better (e.g. Nicole Richie), or they lose the appeal that they had (e.g. Jessica Alba).

Her body is fit and she seems really sweet/down-to-Earth. However, I do not think this color is as flattering on her skin-tone. The style of the dress is just okay too.

In the recent post of her before this one she did look like a size zero. Idk if shes gained or if it the dress??? But what does it mean to look like a size 0? all brands have a different defintion and taller girls can look like a size zero and be a size 4 (like me). So ill just say she looked skinnier in post past. I know shes a busy mom of two and shes runds around all day in sweats, but really at least look put together on red carpet.

In regards to her weight i honestly didn’t get a good look (concentrating on ashton i guess!) but I wouldn’t have said she looked scary skinny at all, i would say the guess of size 4 would be about right.. Her face did look very hollowed out though with very prominent cheekbones.

Who really cares what the number is, this is sooo silly!! She’s adorable, a great mom and a real role model who seems to have her act together!! She looks great…except maybe for the hair in this shot…agree the dress isn’t her best choice but she can do no wrong in my book!
Sorry, but I need to eat more than salads. Starving yourself to be a size 2 just isn’t worth it. You can be healthy, slim and still enjoy having dessert, pizza etc. ENJOY!

She’s not a size 0, and I don’t know why she’d really want to be. She looks to be about a size 2-4, but likely a 4. She’s very lean, but does have a great, muscular frame. I think she looks fabulous.
Love the dress… too bad her hair looks insanely messy. But I think she looks good, would not look so good if she lost any more weight. I agree with several above posters, saying you’re a certain size is so vague. The sizes in clothes I wear vary SO dramatically depending on the style and brand… so I would never be one to be like “I’m this size” because its so unreliable. I don’t think she looks like a o, but I don’t care honestly
