That is not a typical 19 year old body! she looks far better then most 19 year olds! she is slim and amazingly toned – true a lot of girls are as slim as her but no way as toned! And so many girls arent as slim then her! Saying that paints an unrealistic picture of woman’s bodies…

i’m 20 and thats pretty much how I look. I think I have wide hips but here she has the same hips as me. She looks average to me, but hopefully she stays average and doesn’t slim down because she looks very healthy here

@ Laura why so protective? I think she looks exactly like all the girls on my soccer team. That’s the body type slim with athletic thighs I thinks this is very representative of girls her age. My high school was filled with way more thin athletic girls than overweight girls. It’s after high school that our metabs suck.

I think shes adorable and theres nothing wrong with her body. the first picture shes just making a weird face and standing straight with her hips out so it makes her legs look thicker; shes very toned and actually reminds me a bit of hayden paniterre..Sp?
plus.. I think short and cute, nice build, and toned is more attractive then long and lanky. theres nothing attractive about a girl who measures up to a man

Sian I couldn’t find the comment you were talking about, but I can’t stand when people say tall girls aren’t as “cute” as shorter girls. It’s so ridiculous, I’m almost 6 feet tall but plenty of guys seem to find me attractive. What a shock that must be to some people lol.
to me she is the picture of what a healthy 19 year old girl should look like. i like that she doesn’t have super-skinny legs because everyone’s body is built differently. she is very well-proportioned and probably doesn’t have to freak out about every piece of food that goes into her mouth like some other hollywood it-girls.

Her body is cute, but most 19 yr olds have cute bodies… Her figure reminds me of Britney’s. Her face looks like a combination of several of the Spice Girls. Ha. And she has no lips… Overall–she is average.

The only 19 year olds I knew who had great bodies either worked for them or had super-fast metabolisms. And most of those with fast metabolisms gained weight in their late 20’s when their metabolisms slowed down.

True gigi, I was “naturally” slender ’till I turned 28. I started to gain a lot of weight around my waist. I had to start watching my sugar intake and do a little more cardio. I did nothing before then.

a few things-
1. I’m 19 and while I’m sure my metabolism is quite fast. I (and I’m sure Lorraine) have to WORK hard and eat right to stay in shape. Don’t patronise the young.
2. I think shorter girls are way ‘cuter’. But tall girls are not cute they are ‘elegant’. Both attractive just different adjectives. Btw, I mean cute in the british way.
Funny, whenever I do get compliments people usually tell me that I’m cute or pretty. Maybe I should tell them they’re wrong since I’m over a certain height, lol ^_^
Apparently she’s 5′7..although to me she look shorter. Anyways at 5′7 Id guess she is 122-124 pounds. Very healthy looking.
toned? i see no muscle. just average. if she’s toned then i’d be a freakin’ body builder. (which i’m not)
to the person who said women’s thighs are supposed to have fat on them… educate yourself about fitness and nutrition please. women (as well as men) are not meant to have excess fat. if we actually ate the food we were made to, not processed crap, then we’d all look better than that.

Think that Lorraine is uber, super cute with a really cute, toned body! If she is a “surfer girl” or even IF she is just “learning” surfing (for movie role)…all of that (surfing) really does a body good. It (surfing)is a great overall workout (IMO). She does not look “average” to me (IMO). She’s lovely and does not need to lose any lbs. Hope she DOES NOT SUCCUMB to the Hollywood “unwritten” rules that someone ( girls/young women) must be rail thin (or to point of emaciation) in order to be cute/beautiful, and so forth. She’s a perfect role model (from what I can see in these pics) to young women everywhere! Didn’t like the very 1st pic of her…but the remaining pics are really beautiful. She MUST BE STUNNING …especially being able to “pull off” the horizontally striped bikini! Hope we get to see more posts of her as she (or her reputation and/or movie appearances “take off”)!

@ ms_benes…lots of 19-year-old aren’t “cute”!! gosh, that is like saying all 40-year-olds are fat and untoned! i am 19 and i’m far from offended but it’s simply very annoying to generalize the young. i have a great metabolism but i work just as hard as my 52-year-old mother at the gym and we eat the same things. i know plenty of girls my age with cellulite and saggy boobs, not a pretty thing, but it happens.
