Nope, doesn’t do if for me. She’s simply too thin. She’s shapeless because everything is just so thin. Her arms especially, her hands look huge!
There seems to be alot of pics of her lately. I think she’s beautiful but way too thin. It’s starting to look really scary on her now. I know being a model calls for you to be thin but this is extreme.

Her legs are so shapeless. There is lots i envy about this woman, but her legs are not one of them. I’d take my own legs any day!!

She looks anorexic in the first photo. I know anorexia is a mental disorder, but I’ve known people suffering from it, and this is a similar look- IMO.

I live in sydney and actually saw Miranda in person yesterday (she was doing an instore appearance), i never really thought much of her but in person she is stunning, and not as thin as pictures make her look … she was thin but did not look sickly thin, she looked fantastic i thought and her body suited her … i was quite shocked as i always thought she looked like a bit of a greyhound but in real life shes perfect …
Shanno, nice call on her nose, didn’t notice till you pointed it out! I think it’s just due to excessive bronzer and blush everywhere else.

I also find her way too skinny now. I thought she was so much more attractive when she had some more weight on her. Now she looks too delicate and childish. It seems that many young girls today are really into that delicate, vulnerable little girl look. I would love to know why, if any teenage girl on this board might be interested in answering that. My theory is that these girls need to feel a lot smaller than guys in order for guys to be interested in them. Which is not the case in the adult world, by the way. A real man knows that a real woman doesn’t feel the need to get tinier and tinier to be noticed. But a boy might buy into that BS.

Being that skinny is not attractive in the slightest. She might get away with it in clothes but I bet she looks skeletal when she’s naked. I prefer to see a woman who can carry some weight and carry it well. Anyone can look boney if they starve starve themselves.
omg rian keep the miranda pictures coming! and miranda is NOT to thin. shes simply already naturally skinny and works out often and eats clean to keep in great shape. She has a great butt and great curves. Just cause someones slims doesnt mean theyre sick or have an eating disorder. i think she looks lovely.

@ Ruby: You wanted someone to answer this question: As I think I don´t speak only for myself but for a lot of skinny girls out there- we´re not skinny to look good to men (well, that´s nice side effect though, you may doubt it, but men are into skinny – perfect example, Orlando!) but we feel better about ourselves. I´m at least as skinny as Miranda, and I feel healthy and strong. A lot of people today mess up “skinny” and “anorexic” – be assured, the weakness, hair-loss bullshit is linked to anorexia, a thing that will not affect you unless your BMI is over 16.
Being skinny means, you can wear any clothes that you want without caring about any “problem areas” you need to cover.
So you see, there´s a reason…

I´m skinny too, and I think I can speak for a lot of other skinny girls: We´re not skinny be attractive to men (which is a nice side effect though, you may doubt it, but men are into skinny. See Orlando) but to feel comfortable about ourselves. We don´t need to look for clothes that hide our “problem areas” -because we have none- we look good in dress as well as in a bikini and we´re healthy. Any doubts about the last point? Many people today mess up “skinny” and “anorexic”, and believe me, the hair-loss, weakness and blackout bullshit is linked to anorexia, it will not affect you unless your BMI is lower than 15,8.

This is too thin. I’ve seen a lot of pictures of her, and this is the 1st time I’ve bee scared. Yes, thin looks good, I agree with Fili about how I try to be thin etc etc, but this is too thin.
i agree there have been a lot of miranda pics lately, but i agree that rian is just meeting the demand! some people may be sick of her, but look how many comments her pics always get!! clearly people are still interested.
I do think she gets too thin at times but overall I would rather have her body than mine. She is really lean and toned looking, ike her body doesnt have an oz of fat on it. I wish I had her body type.

Although I do think skinny/thin suits her, it looks natural on her…I think this is too skinny, as I usually do in most of her pictures. I didn’t used to think she was pretty, but now I definitly see her beauty. If I were her I’d rock out on eating.
Fili,I appreciate what you’re saying, but skinny doesn’t equal ‘no problem areas’ There are many(not all) skinny women with no waist, hips, butt, boobs and just not enough shape to be attractive. I consider no curves a definite “problem area”. I am naturally thin & I have spent years trying to get a bit more curves by lifting weights & EATING! It’s worked & I would never go back to being “skinny”. Slender with curves & nice muscle tone suits me just fine. Also, skinny doesn’t always automatically mean healthy.
Plus, I get more male attention now than when I was just skinny.:)

third- the ones that do say Miranda often do because of her face and the way she looks personality wise. Most would say She needs to gain a pile of weight first.

@FILI i get what you are saying but i also agree with GLOW. Skinny girls like me still have problem areas. I have no curves and a big middle. And as far as men liking skinny girls, im sure they do, but not sickly looking girls. MIranda is skinny but has perfect curves and looks healthy. Shes not a stick thin ruler looking girl so therefore men like her.
Plus just becuase “all that anorexic stuff” maynot happen unless your BMI is under 16, doesnt mean its healthy. Healhtiness in most ppl is a BMI of 18.5.
Like Jackie, I live in Sydney and saw Miranda in person at an instore appearance on Thursday. I actually think she looks thinner in photos. Yes, she was thin, but she looked healthy and not one bit sickly. She looked fabulous, absolutely gorgeous. I couldn’t stop staring her.

I used to think she was nothing special, but she is really stunning when you take a closer look and has natural grace. Or, maybe I just finally took a closer look due to all the posts! I still find it strikingly odd that she causes such controversy; she’s certainly not the first very thin model and certainly not the thinnest. Lovely, lovely girl!
