After posting about emaciated models on the runway and two scary skinny celebs yesterday, it’s nice to see someone who has a bit more meat on their bones and looks healthy! While America is definitely not the typical ’skinny Hollywood’ type, she has lost weight since her ‘Traveling Pants’ movies and looks a lot better now.

all these”celebs” and their ridiculous awkward poses…they walk around pigeon-toed, trying to scratch their ass with their elbows to make their arms appear thinner and it just looks so stupid.
She looks great! But i had a 90s flash back from those ear rings shes wearing!! Everyone in the hood had a pair of those exact earrings LOL! I hope they are not coming back in fashion! They are heavy!

she is NOT skinny or thin at all. she is thick and curvy and healthy. but why do people say she’s healthy/thin yet they call khloe kardashian fat? they are the same size, just different heights.

Sure, this is theskinnywebsite, but I really think beauty is about so much more than weight and it’s a shame that as a society weight has become the most important part of beauty.
She looks good, I like the dress. Its not the most flattering on her. The skirt is way too short.

She may be cute and good actress and all, but on a BMI scale… is she really healthy? Or are you just saying that to make “thicker” women feel better about their unhealthy physiques? Because, sorry… its a hard, true fact… BEING OVERWEIGHT IS NOT “HEALTHY” as you make it out to seem so many times, SKINNYSITE.

On a negative note (sorry!) I feel they could’ve done her makeup better. This fresh faced look is alright, but too ‘girl next door’ for a Hollywood star. And those earrings were so three years ago.

Definitely very, very pretty and confident. She doesn’t need to lose any more weight.
She looks alot thinner than when she first started out but her calves and thighs are definately where she holds the most weight. Beautiful skin and hair too!

She looks fine. Not a flattering dress – too short in the length, too much flesh showing up top.
I wish this was the norm. I mean, it really is the norm in middle America, but if we would saturate our media with these images of healthy women like her in beautiful clothing, all of the other stuff would eventually be forgotten. Sigh. . .
@Tiffany…agree with you. America was on Live With Regis & Kelly yesterday…she looked beautiful…she had on a longer dress, though. I like this dress but America carries any weight she does have in her legs so…a longer dress would be better. RIAN, agree with you…America has lost weight since her “Traveling Pants” days…but I think she has been losing a bit of weight here & there all along throughout her “Ugly Betty” days. IN A HEALTHY WAY!

I guarantee she is well within her BMI. Someone mentioned she might not be, and I place money on the fact that she is “healthy” by medical standards. I’ve been watching “Celebrity Fit Club” and Nicole Eggert is like 140 and five foot three and she was still within her BMI. You don’t have to be skinny, or even average, to be within your BMI. You can even be a little chubby, from my experience, and still be considered healthy by doctors. Just saying.
