Bar Refaeli Poses For Lingerie Line

i don’t get all the hype around this woman. I mean, yes, she is gorgeous, but there’s so much more attention given to her than women I think are so much prettier. She really doesn’t seem like anything special, just another generic pretty blond girl.
her body type is very reminiscent of kate winslet’s…i think kate would look like this if she lost 10-20 pounds

given that the 1st and 2nd picture shows no difference in body (i.e very little brushing/same pose)….why have they re touched her face so much?! her face in the black dress would look so much better in the ads…so much prettier/natural/less harsh.
On a 2nd note, celebs often say “the brushing was nothing to do with me” I wonder how much this is actually true? Like do they sit down with the editor/photographer and say “nip that, make that bit bigger” or once they leave the shoot is it all up to the magazine? I’d be pretty annoyed if I had her face and they dragged me up!

I agree with Jade – she’s undoubtedly very pretty, but I just don’t find her striking.

I don’t even find her face pretty, not even with all the make-up and lighting, much less in candids. But she has a great body and I wish the VS models’ bodies would look more like hers, it seems more natural and attainable.

I’m sitting on my couch watching MythBusters and eating hamburger helper and my body looks just as good as her. You girls can be too and everyone needs to eat more cake! You’ll be healthier and happier just do exercise 3x a week.

She looks slim, curvy and very fit. It’s lovely! Her face isn’t abnormally striking or beautiful, but without a doubt, she’s a pretty girl.
Her skin in the photo-shoot pictures is heavily photoshopped, but it doesn’t seem like they shrunk or slimmed her down in any of the photos really. I find that interesting (in a good way).
The photoshopping is weird. In the first picture her calf and foot look really big and manly and then in the last picture it looks like they made them smaller.
I can’t decide if I’m surprised or not to hear people say she could stand to lose some lbs. I think most men would much sooner drool over Bar than a woman who is stick thin. I think Bar is gorgeous and slim, yet still curvy.
She needs to change her facial expression she always looks like this in fashion shoots

Hmm I don’t know think that she belongs in the “Skinny” category, more like “Fit and Healthy” and “Curvy” (which is NOT code for fat BTW).
She makes a pretty picture for sure. If my bum looked like hers, I would never wear anything else than this (even though I think that there is a very thin line between sexy and tacky when it comes to lingerie).
Maybe she’s prettier in real life, but these pictures… to quote an awesome show, “you couldn’t pick her out a line up of one”. I doubt her career will ever take off.

I love this cat…I want a cat, NOW!! As for Bar…she sure has an enviable body, but somehow I dont like her face here. Maybe its the photoshopping because I seem to remember that she looked cuter in candid pics.

She’s very plain in my opinion. Pretty, yes, but nothing out of the ordinary. How she made it to fame is beyond me. Usually people get noticed because they have a very distinct and special face or an exceptionally great body, but she has none.

@berries Bar looks gorgeous…so supermodel-esque with a slim body w/small curves.(Agree w/you). She looks like a model and not a very way too skinny model with clothes that hang off of them as though they were clothes hangers. I know that being the most overly almost emaciated models are the current “rage”…but Bar looks terrific just as she is. Bar looks like what the V.S. models once were the standards (for). Now, most of them are edging on waaay too thin…heading towards emaciated if they are not careful. Seems like the V.S. models are either nearly scary skinny or preggers lately!

Bar is one of those women I think looks so much better without make-up. I don’t find her face pretty or interesting, just average. Her body is lovely.

I think she has the absolute perfect body. Ideal in every way. I don’t think I’d necessarily call her body more attainable than scary skinny models (after all, everyone can starve themselves but almost no one can have a tiny waist and perfectly proportioned boobs and bum) but I totally see what you’re saying in that her body at least looks like something that people would want to aspire towards in a healthy way.

I don’t like her. Her face is nothing special and portrays absolutely no emotion, always giving the I’m-pretty-but-not-much-else look. She just rubs me the wrong way.

One: so funny so many people commented on the cat.
Two: bar has great proportions – and even when she gains, looks sexy bc she carries weight in the ‘right’ places. However, when she is thinner, its definitely forced. Once her modeling career is done, she will gain a lot of weight no doubt.
Three: are there candids of her standing next to the other VS models? She seems huge in comparison and I just wanna seeeeee!
She has gained a little weight recently, but she still looked amazing in a bikini last time I saw the pics. So it is a bit weird that they are photo-shopping, unless she has a stretch mark somewhere I dunno
