Looking thin is the least of her worries. My guess is that little children run screaming from her.
It’s no wonder poor Allegra is the way she is. That poor girl was doomed from the start… Donatella is very unattractive facially so I guess she wants a “hot” bod.
Does her daughter Allegra live at home with her? That is all she needs to watch is her mother dieting. What a shame.

I’ve seen pictures of her where she’s thinner than this, and I think that she needs to be slapped after what Allegra has been going through. This woman is no role model for a girl with severe anorexia. Donatella needs as much therapy as Allegra.

She is my idol, a true lady, a fashion icon, she always modify her own clothes to suits her, because, as she once said, she is not a model, she is not beautiful, and i know she will only be slated on this website, but she is a true artist, the dress is fantastic, and the colour is so much better then the purple one in the catwalk!
She has a great body! especially for a woman in her mid 50’s. But she must change that afwful blonde haircolor into an more natural hair colour the blond ages her

I honestly don’t know what to say about her that hasn’t already been said. But I wonder if she regrets all that plactic surgery because it’s distorted her face horribly.
I just don’t feel sorry for her. Her entire life revolves around staring at yourself in the mirror and fitting into clothes, so if that’s what you want to do, please pass me your cupcake.

She’s not that skinny, it’s the bad plastic surgery, the awful tan and the (normal) saggyness of her skin. She actually seems to have a good body and has great muscle definition on her arms.

Cut off the head in the fist picture and it looks ok…but my god…the second picture…there’s no escaping the loose wrinkled skin on the arms!
Oh…and you can tell she’s clearly wearing some sort of control undergarment from the indentation left around her hips.

I do feel sorry for her. You can have all the fame and fortune in the world and still be the most miserable person alive. Her misery is apparent in her desperate attempts at finding happiness through plastic surgery. Each time I see her she looks slightly different – she must never feel happy with herself, and that is sad.
The sad thing is – she was so much prettier before all the “fixes.” Plastic surgery has only aged her and made her look more masculine. Isn’t she only in her early 50s?

Actually, I don’t think (besides the loose skin) her body looks that bad. Of course I don’t know what’s beneath it. Teri Hatcher has a scrawnier body than she does.

That dress is AMAZING!!!!!!!
The fake looking blonde hair, tons of make-up and plumped pink lips aren’t pleasing to my eye, but her body is looking quite alright (i’d prefer a bit softer look but i don’t think she necessarily looks scary skinny here), and the dress fits her really well, and it’s a stunning color. She’s not the most beautiful woman, but a more natural look would surely make me feel differently about her.
Oh wow, i just ” had to” check her age, and she’s 55, that’s years younger than my mom who i’m pretty sure would be said to look a lot younger than Donatella by most people (i certainly think so). Genetics do play a role but i think in Donatella’s case it’s mostly due to surgery and excessive tanning.

She is a great role model as a business woman. I can’t speak as to the cause of Allegra’s illness, but blame doesn’t reside wholly with her mother – if at all.

I agree- it is no wonder her daughter is so sick! Mother’s habits trickle down – my mother has been on a diet my entire life and with her urging I have been on one since I was 9 years old. So it is no surprise they both clearly have issues.

Hmmmm, you say extremely thin, but I’d have to disagree a bit on the word “extremely”. I think she looks really really fit here and especially for her age, but not so much in an anorexic way. Yes, her face is bizarre though. Her daughter is one who I’d classify as extremely thin.

I would say that she looks better than before. She’s clearly thin, but look at that muscle tone! That takes work, and not necessarily starvation!

She has a great figure — tiny waist, toned arms. But her skin is awful due to excessive tanning, excessive smoking, and excessive intake of drugs from the ’80s to early ’00s. Her plastic surgery is also very bad. She should’ve asked Demi Moore for her surgeon’s number.

That being said, no wonder Allegra is so so emaciated (and ill w/ana). Her mom is certainly not a role model PLUS, yes, Allegra is surrounded by the skinny, skinny models all the time. It’s no wonder she cannot overcome her ana since she has been battling since 11 or 12 years old! (IMO) Allegra & Donatella both belong in a rehab for their clearly visible disordered eating. Allegra needs to undoubtedly be in a very long term rehab separate from her mother. Allegra has (now) had ana for over 1/2 of her short life (she’s 23 now). My heart goes out to Allegra.

Remember, you are looking at a photograph. If there were pictures of her standing with next to a (healthy) person, I’m sure you would see just how frail she is. This is not natural, or ideal.

I agree with LondonCalling. She is a fashion icon I think she looks nice in these photos. Not everyone is born beautiful and plastic surgery does not always age well. I think her dress is very flattering and she is nice and toned here.

Hmm, it’s not Donatella who is the icon. It’s her brother who created the fashion house & all of it’s flashy gaudy glory.
She doesn’t really look ’scary’ skinny. With a different face and if here skin wasn’t falling off her body, people would say she’s hot.
I think she looks great, especially for her age. She has good muscle tone, no visible body fat, and she knows how to make a gown that makes the shape of your body look perfect.. that’s why she’s so rich and famous and talented, unlike you losers who sit there and criticize her..
