(Interesting fact that many people don’t know: it was that famous tabloid cover story about Janet Jackson’s weight gain way back in 2005 that first made me decide to start this website! Well, a combination of that story and Nicole Richie/MK’s drastic weight loss).

I’ve always liked her, she has a beautiful smile and nice eyes. But she really messed up her nose, shoulda stayed natural. I can’t stand the baggy-crotch pants. Janet looks fine, hard to keep up with her weight fluctuations.
Hahaha! I just made a comment at the Victoria B post above before even seeing these one, it was about her pants being literally saluted just because she’s skinny. And just as predicted, seeing someone bigger wear similar trousers (although not the same, I realize Vicky’s weren’t exactly harem pants) she’s getting bashed for it. Wow.. Just wow.
Anyway I think Janet looks great. She has come a long way and I have to say she has impressed me with her dedication to lose weight and get back in shape.
I have always remained quite neutral when it comes to Ms. Jackson; however, I think she looks absolutely stunning here!
I agree with an earlier poster who cited her as an example of someone who knows how to dress for their body type. I can only imagine the comments we might have seen if she had chosen to wear tighter pants– I feel that the belt successfully draws attention to her waist while the looser-fitting capris allowed her to remain comfortable and free from excessive speculation about her weight. She has a wonderful glow about her!

Having said that, I’ve always suspected she’s had a lot of work done on her face. Also, I’m a little over her sporting the suit jacket/tuxedo look with a chunky belt and flouncy waist. I feel like that’s all she ever wears! Don’t you wonder what she looks like in a t-shirt and jeans?
I’m guesing harem pants are back in fashion? I’m not too sure about them; they look really comfortable and some people look really good in them, but they also kind of remind me of a huge diaper???

@Rian, interesting how she inspired this website. I remember having the Us mag with her in a bikini after getting super fit. I can relate to her yo-yoing (although not quite as extreme). If MK is Mary-Kate, wow. She inspires me to slap her TBH.

@Ashley: No hun, the pants do not free her from speculation. They only add to it (if there is any to even begin with) because they make her (otherwise slim IMO) thighs look huge.

There is absolutely nothing redeeming about this outfit, I think the 80’s blazer looks just as bad as the stupid harem pants and not even the belt should be salvaged, just burn it all.
Janet looks great, though, good weight for her and her face seems ageless.
Shes not at her biggest like she was a couple years ago so i think shes looks good weight wise especially since all shes been through this year

Ugh. I hate harem pants I owned a pair when I was ten. Never. Again. Lol. She looks about the same weight wise as the last time I remember seeing her. Good for her for maintaining her weight so well and not yo-yoing as much as she used to. I read that she has to be really careful diet wise because she hates watching her diet and all her favorite foods are so calorie laden.
