OMG, stab me in the eye, she wears those nastiest trainers ever. Never liked her, she’s a bad actress for sure. However she lost quite a bit of weight. She shouldn’t lose more though, coz that would reaaaally age her.

I actually recently read in a interview somewhere where she said something about being done with breastfeeding and that she was expecting to gain weight because of that. Breastfeeding burns crazy calories so it makes sense…

Yeah, I’m not loving the jeans with running shoes get up she always seems to show up in. And her jeans never look stylish but more “man jeans.” Her face has sharp lines and she should try and be more feminine in dress and overall appearance.
I use to hate how she were trainers but now I get it, walking around in flats or heels all day is terrible for the body, and not to mention painful, especially on the back. So, even though it’s hideous, she’s pretty smart for taking care of herself

Think that Jen & daughter, Violet, look terrific! I don’t think Jen has really added any more weight since than the last time we saw her a few motnhs back. Yeah, her daughter, Saraphina (who they call Sarah) is like 13 or 14 months old now…so Jen most likely is DONE w/breastfeeding. I think it is the camera angle and those jeans she is wearing. The jeans are not flattering on Jen. In the 2nd pic…there’s a bit of space between her loose fitting sweater top & the jeans. Her waist/tummy look thin! The way the jeans are fitting/or/riding on her hips is NOT FLATTERING.

Her cloths are having a debate, “am I a mom or a movie star” and the mom part is winning out. Nothing wrong with that but just saying.
She seems like a nice person and good mom (although I have never really forgiven her for leaving her cute husband from Felicity when she got famous).
But I have never seen what all the fuss was about her. Her dimples are cut and all but I just don’t see the great beauty.
Maybe she was thinner a few months back bc she wanted to look better for the movie she was in?

I like her a lot. I just watched 13 going on 30 last night so I was really happy to see her on this site today. She’s so cute in that movie. Violet is a doll, and they (Ben and Jennifer) just seem like a cool family.

She looks great. I think she looks better like this than when was she was super skinny. She looks genuinely healthy, and seems so sweet and normal compared to most Hollywood stars. I think she’s gotten prettier as she’s aged.
It looks like she quickly put some clothes on to grab a morning juice with her daughter. I don’t see what the big deal is about her outfit or shoes. It’s typical attire for a busy mom.

I’ve read somewhere that she has to work really hard to stay thin and that she starved herself on a fruit and vegetable fast to lose the last 20 pounds of baby weight.

Way too skinny. I can’t stand her acting and the characters she plays are always so fake sweet/wholesome/optimistic it’s nauseating. Valentines Day was one of the WORST movie I’ve ever seen, due in no small part to her horrific mugging. Her daughter looks a lot like her.

I love how normal she is. She doesn’t pretend to be an unattainable movie star like other people (like J.Lo). She’s so down to earth, I think that’s why her daughter always seems so happy.
Somewhat healthier. Still pretty. Can someone please tell her to get rid of her tops/shirts from 6 years ago though. Whenever I see her lately she is wearing an outdated top that is too large for her frame. When you lose pounds, you have to get some new clothes.

And I agree that not everyone – actress or no actress – has to look fashionable all the time; I loooove fashion and love to check out cool outfits, but some people just don’t have the gene for it and Jennifer Garner is one of them. I even believe she said so herself, so that’s fine with me.
And she doesn’t look skinny to me these days, just a normal, healthy weight. But maybe she looks scrawny in real life, who knows.
I hope she keeps wearing those sneakers because it seems to upset so many of you. All you people who find her “plain” and “boring” will click on the link and take the time to post about her. I don’t get it. If you know she’s going to be “boring” then why bother? Did you think today would be the day she shows up at the juice shop looking like Lady Gaga???

@Donna: Noop, I never had any acting ambitions, nor did I ever aspire to be a singer, a model, a flight attendant or Barbie. It’s just that I saw Garner in Valentine’s Day a couple of weeks ago, and thank’s to her acting the enamel came off my teeth. If I wanted to see a bouncing girly girl in overdrive, I could have just stayed at home with my 7 year-old. I am a firm believer in female solidarity – jealousy is an unhealthy emotion – but not at any cost. Garner ruined what could have been a perfect night out for me (OK, I’m exagerating a bit).

Jeeze. Harsh! she is a mother, a busy mum talking her kid out, she’s not pathetic and insecure and lopes about in 6 inch heels like Victoria Beckham. She put on practical clothing to do practical activities and she looks amazing! Look around you, everyone is so fat and half of them haven’t had kids to use as an excuse. She is healthy, she glows, she is happy and I don’t think she needs an elaborate getup to show that.
She looks nice, casual but not slobby. As fir her acting, i think she’s ok, but she suited Alias way better than the comedies she’s been making. She doesn’t have the biggest range of skills, but she’d do fine in action, i’d also like to see her try some drama etc.

Yeah she looks plain, but why should we care? She’s a mom first so she should wear whatever makes her feel comfrontable. Wearing boots or flipflops won’t make her a better mom or a better human being. She’s fine the way she is and it’s refreshing to see a “plain” hollywood mom. Get off her back people!

@Nilski, I was merely saying that I was never up for any of the professions that most girls dream off when they’re young. I would never try to put down stewardesses, because they are heroes in my book. It took me an entire bottle of gin to fly from Rotterdam to London and back. Never again my feet will lose contact with Sweet Mother Earth.
Yea, I haven’t worn heels in years. I didn’t “let myself go”, I just have a spinal condition that tells me not to wear ‘em. I wear sneakers 85% of the time. There is a lot you can do with sneakers actually if you mix it up from time to time. Keds and Converse can be fashionable IMO.
Keds and Converse always look great but they are not the kind of bulky sneakers Jennifer wears. Unfortunately, I don’t find Converse shoes to be very comfortable either, they’re just too flat and there’s no cushioning between my feet and the street; So I get why Jen opts for the comfy trainers. Looks awful, anyways.
@ Emily, I agree completely, she should do action movies instead of stupid rom-coms, she’s just great at kicking butt and I have a lot of love left for her simply because I loved ALIAS so much. She HAS done a little bit of drama, though, remember her part in Juno? I think she pulled it off quite well.

She’s still really thin, but I think she’d look even better if she put on some muscle weight. I think it’s great she doesn’t care what she looks like without makeup. But maybe I’m a little biased, because she went to my college.
I think she looks fine, but I don’t like the sweater/shirt. I think sneaker and jeans is perfectly okay! I don’t understand what the big deal is with wearing them (sneakers)-especially if you are walking around a lot.

Obviously Ben Affleck thinks she’s hot enough that he’s had two kids with her, so um, yeah…(to the haters). I think Jen Garner is a fabulous woman, and I love that she doesn’t let her superficial Hollywood status affect or change her as a wife or mother. People that worry about her wearing sneakers to run errands should really look at the big picture a bit more often.
