love her dress! she’s gorgeous at this weight! but on a side note: anyone else noticed that her neck is really thick? i wouldn’t have pointed it out because everyone’s body is different.. but hers is almost the circumference of her face.

sorry but this dress is not ideal for her body shape – makes her look very bottom heavy! maybe in a darker shade it would be ok, and with a bra! the shoes don’t match either.
oooootherwise she looks lovely and healthy and happy! as is the way when you first lose weight you think you can pull this sort of outfit off (by comparison to your old weight) but it’s just not quite right. sorry!
Her bottom half isn’t nice. If she where to lose enough for it to look good her top half looks like it would be too thin.
Maybe she has little head syndrome thats why her neck looks thick?
I don’t want to be too brutal because she does look good. Her arms, chest and collarbone area look really thin and the stomach looks flat. Those legs however look terrible! They aren’t big and chunky, but just weird and shapeless. Were she to gain weight, her legs would look just like Mischa Barton’s.
@dragonfly…You are so right about the neck…it is big for her face…or her face is too small for her neck. Either way, it does look weird!
She looks kind of out of proportion to me? Like, I don’t know how to say it. It’s not that she looks BAD, but something here just isn’t kosher.

Hadn’t noticed it, but yeah, for reason she looked weird from her chest up, and from her belly button down. Her bottom is too wide! There are actually pictures from this set where you can see her behind is still quite large and there’s even some upper-thigh cellulite going on. I just hate how she reacted when she was criticized for her weight. Along with Tyra Banks she’s the deiniton of hypocrisy.
I think she looks really good. Like she’s lost a bunch of weight and is really proud of it!!!!

Whew, she looks a lot better than she was. She’s still really hippy but she’s looking alright. This dress does wonders for her. This designer is amazing (forget who it is) his dresses look awesome on everyone.

She would probably look better if her boobs weren’t falling out. It’s obvious she’s wearing spanx or whatever it’s called. There’s no lumps anywhere. It’s a pretty color on her. I could NEVER wear something this tight. Even when I was at my lowest weight I was always so self-conscious to wear something like this, and I could’ve easily pulled it off.

no.. the reallhy lame comments stem from people who realize that Hewitt was not hopeless… and her former body that made everyone criticize her but yet feel GREAT abotu themselves and their imperfect bodies… is GONE because she did something about it. And it appears to me it was slow and gradual and healthy EVEN if it IS reaction to our disgusting low criticism.

you all complained about her fatness, now she is damn thin as hell and i don’t see more than like 2 people giving her some lovely compliments. I hate hypocrisy, but more than anything I hate dumb unwarranted comments by JEALOUS people who pretend that they aren’t insecure as all hell.
Man, this post just really made me angry because I really was expecting to see lovely praise or at least more than a minimal amount of positive comments… and for the negative one’s to focus on leg shape…. her neck… or that her “ass is still big” in other pics. PUH LEEZE. It’s not all women, but people with the mindset displayed here and honestly all over the place make me so sickened to be a woman sometimes. I’m not too sure about the dress choice, she has wide hips, very pear shaped, and i don’t think the hair style suits her either, but i do think she is pretty, and i saw her in an interview and she seemed fun, and nice.

Are people insane in the population in general or is it just here? Because I don’t see what part of her legs need toning? Bottom heavy? I really don’t get it. She is slim and tiny…Not emaciated…that’s about it…I’m really baffled by people’s views…I’m wondering if it’s just people who frequent a site such as this who think this way or if the population in general actually judges each and every human being in such outlandish ways? Because if so god help us all LOL we are all screwed because no human being beyond the airbrushed contrived doll could bypass the severe scrutiny I see in many of these comments…

Think that JLH looks very pretty here. She does look thinner. Her hips is where she is always going to carry any lbs (whether she’s a few lbs heavier OR if she loses). Love the 1st pic of Jennifer. The dress is nice…but would have selected a dress which may hide her pear shape lower half.
REALLY unfortunate body type. Her legs are just the grossest shape and very fatty. No tone at all even though her upper body seems ok. Genes, nothing she can do about them.

Can I just say she most certainly does not have thick legs, just her hips are rather wide (to do with bone structure) and it gives the illusion of being thicker on the lower body. If she were to lose any more weight I guarantee she’d start to look ill.

I have exactly the same body type as she does! and Im sorry to disappoint you all but boys love this specific figure…:) She has very skinny upper body and the extra one pound is only on her hips. it is her genes to look like this, so even when she is very fit or almost underweight, her hips will always look wider than the rest of her body!
I have to say that only male designers (most of them, as you know, are attracted to men) and their fashion victims admire the masculine “no hip” look. Men looove wide hips (but they shouldnt be fat tho).
She is gorgeous! her face is stunning, have always thought so… and she seems so down to earth and cute. Been in the public eye since a child yet always has maintained her bubbly personality without needing to get drunk all over town etc.
She does have a pear shaped body, but that can’t be helped, it is her shape and I am happy for her she isn’t ashamed to show it. She actually IS curvy. We get so used to the skewed version of curvy (where people with awesome body but NO curves like Jessica Alba get called curvy or overweight people get branded as curvy) that when we look at JLH we have a hard time understanding what she looks like…
i love her in this dress, i think this is the type of body that should be wearing such a body conscience dress, i hate it when i see these skinny girls in these herve dresses, does nothing for the dress. however i wish it was a tad but longer. her legs are very nice, don’t see why people are calling them thick.

She looks awesome, healthy, curvy, feminine body…always a plus imo.
Her problem is of proportions. She needs wider shoulders to carry of those hips, and her head is too small for her body. Unfortunate genes which can only be combated by dressing appropriately for her body, something she still hasn’t learned. Her show stylists, on the other hand, usually dress her in a lot of structured pieces that create an illusion of broader shoulders to balance off the bottom. Leaving her hair open also gives her volume and a fuller face and makes her head look bigger.
clearly, she’s in better shape than she has been in a while and looks fairly thin; but yikes, that shape! Eek I would not want to show off hips that wide.

What is wrong with you people! I did not expect so many negative comments. I don’t know what woman would not want a figure like hers. She is a little on the short side I think she’s about 5′3″ but hips, thighs and butt are part of being a woman. What woman would want to be built like those run way models i.e. pre teen boys is beyond me.

ok, from the boobs, up – she looks great. i would say she looks great overall except you can DEFINITELY see her black spanx peeking out from under the dress. girl needs to do some crunches to have that gorgeous hourglass figure without any help. i’m all for spanx, especially for big events, but just because they give ou the illusion of looking good, doesn’t mean you are in real life. i think if she had gone for a floor-length (or even knee-length) empire-waist dress to show off her banging upper body, she would have looked a lot better.

First of all, nobody needs spanx with a Herve Bandage Dress. That’s what his dresses are known for…slimming down a curvy body.
