    She is gorgeous! But I don’t love that dress. Reminds me of Summer beach dresses, not Oscars’ dress. But ah well, she is gorgeous!

    Personally, I love the dress. It looks like a piece of abstract art. I think it’s unusual and vibrant yet still occassion appropriate. And it reflects her quirkiness.
    Plus, she looks so toned and slim and wonderful! Her figure is perfect to me, not skinny but it doesn’t look like there’s a pound too much on her.
    However, I fear all of these plastic surgery rumours are true- she looks a little more pulled and plasticky these days =[

    Last night was the first time I realized what a great body she has! Really, I think she had one of the best bodies at the Oscars last night. Also, I really do like her dress. I think she wears it really well and it is both fashionable and creative while also being unique, instead of just boring or outrageous like most of the others.

    I believe the dress is Dries van Noten, whose designs I generally really really like, but I’m not so keen on this. Still, she should get points for doing something different than the norm. I think she’s very pretty. Her husband comes across as kind of creepy…

    I don’t think her face is attractive, but the make up helps a lot. The print of her dress a little loud and tropical, but everything else about the dress looks nice.

    seriously I agree, when people say she’s gorgeous I’m in shock. With all the ridicule we put models and actresses through who have beautiful, symmetrical faces with nice bone structure and features I mean… seriously? Her face looks haggard and tired even though she’s young.

    I really dont think that celebrities have to be physically attractive to be recognized, that’s actually a very superficial thought, and I must say that I respect this lady much much more than those talentless Kardashians or The Hills and The City girls.

    The individual parts of her face are alright, but put them all together and her face looks quite strange and just unattractive to me. I don’t see any way she could be considered stunning in the facial department. Her body is fine though.

    Shes thin and healthy, gotta love that. Her dress isnt reallly academy award material imo, but its still beautiful. Her face looks alot younger, she may have had a face lift becuase she has less wrinkles than before. It looks good!

    Really like the dress and she looks slim and fit, but really though she’s far from ‘beautiful’! Her and SJP are really not pretty at all, I don’t mean that as an insult, but it’s jut not true – there are other positive things women can be and I’m sure that she is, if you want to be nice about her there are other things to say that are actually true!

    Why she was even considered for best-dressed that night is beyond me. It’s so annoying that whenever a celebrity achieves the status “fashion icon” they immediately think they can wear whatever they want and get away with it [see: Victoria B].
    Yes, she looks really thin her. It’s nice though, but personally her face does not do anything to me.

    jellybelly, so what you are saying is that people who call Maggie beautiful are lying? Each to their own, everyone has a different opinion.

    Beauty is never just what you see, there is so much more to it. Women like SJP and Maggie Gyllenhaal may not be “beautiful” in the common sense, but there is definitely something about them that makes us remember them.

    I personally think Maggie IS a beautiful woman. She’s good looking, has a great figure, is an amazing actress and has a great sense of humour. And the dress she’s wearing is perfect, it’s very her!

    I really like her face and smile, she looks so witty and chic. Someone said, she was the ugliest actress in Hollywood… Pretty mean, I think, because the ugly award should go to Hilary Swank or SJP instead. Maggie looks fabulous, it´s just people in Hollywood aren´t familiar with thin lips…

    The lady behind her in white is James Cameron’s wife…the one he cheated on with his first wife. Karma-body haha, you should see her from the front…SCARY! But i shouldn’t be too mean because she looks like she actually may be sick :(

    wow i didnt know she had suck a cute little body..she has great arms and shoulders…i was always thrown off by her mug….and never cared too much for her acting either…she has been in good movies but she never really impressed me…..but i really like her body in these pics..i think she pulls off the dress….not my fav att all that night…but not the worst either
