Some of the Victoria’s Secret models are getting thinner and thinner… both Alessandra Ambrosio and Miranda Kerr are extremely thin. Even Karolina Kurkova recently lost weight.

I usually don’t comment here but something just struck me with these pictures. I know she’s to thin and that I should be disgusted and write about how aick the ideals or and how this girl is outragesley skinny.
Instead these pictures just inspire me to look like her. Miranda is like the epitome of what I wan’t to be. Beautiful, skinny, young and stunningly pretty. Her body for me is perfection. She has everything I wan’t to be and I’m not going to bash her just to be politically correct.
I think her legs and arms look perfect and you can tell she can wear whatever she likes due to her thin frame, yet she still manages to have a nice and cute butt.
I think she looks lovely, but all of you are intitaled to your own opinions, and these are just mine! (Sorry for bad spelling, I’m not english)

love love loveee her shoes. i will always think her legs are unattractive, i know they’re really thin but they’re just there. as a set of legs. i find her figure kind of boring. alessandras on the other hand has some definition….and i love it!
don’t like those shoes – victoria secret models were always sexy because they weren’t stick thin and now its like everyone has fallen into the pressure. of course miranda is gorgeous but i miss looking up to women like tyra banks who were sexy in their OWN way not the skinny trend way

These girls are waaaay toooo THIN (emaciated) looking. There is NO WAY that some of the V.S. models are adhering to the 18.0 BMI rules. These models /(girls) look like they are at least 16 BMI (and 16 is considered “starvation mode”)! When will it stop…I would way when a couple of them go into cardiac arrest and (or) die. Like a couple years back when 2 or 3 Uruguay models (sp?) & in other South American countries died. One girl’s last name was Restin and she died @ 88 lbs. Then there were two sisters who died within six or seven months of each other …both extremely waay too thin. Both of them were from somewhere in S. America as well. Yeah, I’d say when some of these girls drop dead…maybe then it will send a message.
i LOVE the aviators! Cant really see how thin she is in this post but she prbly lost more weight since the last pics i saw of her. She used to have my favorite VS body but now shes sooo thin, espcially her arms. Its really aging her too.
WHY is everyone fussing about her weight? Maybe I’ve been living under a rock for the past year, but I truthfully can’t remember her looking any bigger than this and I’ve seen lots of pictures of her. Until you make a before/after post and give us some visual proof to back up your statment, I’m not buying it.
On another note, I also don’t understand why certain ppl are under the impression that skinny jeans make you look bigger. I actually think they have the opposite effect, but again maybe that’s just me. She looks like a model is supposed to look. Definitely nothing staggering about her appearance.

when will it end? Never. Look at the people on this web site who often comment that they would “die” for those legs or other body part….not making the connection that they just might. Too many people have screwed up views of the human body, and I guess models can experience this, too.

I love how thin she is, but I remember she caught my attention when she first started because she had a nice, curvy, toned body & a full, pretty face. I don’t know if VS is pressuring them to lose weight. What is going on?

These VS models are getting very thin! Is this really attractive? Shouldn’t lingerie models have shapely, curvy bodies? I understand that some people are genetically thin and lanky, but this seems unnatural — manipulated by starvation. They still look great, but I thought it was more about having the body of a woman rather than that of a 12 year old boy.

She is amazingly thin. I love really thin models but I’m getting a bit worried for her health (even though she always says she has stayed the same weight her entire modelling career). Those legs are sticks.

after last prada fashion show they said there was a change going on in the fashion world beacause curvy models hit the runway

I mean the VS models are probably the exact same size as most catwalk models, but with bigger boobs.
Alright, confession time: I actually don’t care when these women get so thin because then at least i don’t have to be envious of their figures anymore. The other day I had a photo of most of the VS girls all lined up in their undies and I asked my boyfriend “Which one do you think is the hottest?” and he looked and said “Gross, none.” and I tsk-tsked him and said he was mean but secretly I was a little happy.
I thought this day would never come, but- I’m a little bored with all these Miranda Kerr posts. I mean, she’s awesome and slim, and she even has a pretty decent style…
But, I think it’s time we started seeing other people.

I agree! I’m a bit disappointed that VS is jumping on the super skinny badwagon. I remember watching ANTM and hearing Tyra say that she originally signed with VS because they appreciated curvier, yet slim models. Times have certainly changed since then…
Question: Do you guys think she may get her lips injected?? I’m thinking of doing it, but in a very small amount.. it scares me though when you see bad jobs, and I wouldn’t want it to feel funny from my boyfriends perspective when kissing. What do you think?
Her hands are HUGE! Her legs look like they’re a million miles apart. That jacket looks like its hanging off a skeleton. The average American woman is a size 10. VS is supposed to represent the AVERAGE WOMAN! Somewhere down the line, they obviously forgot that.

Rose, with all the men I’ve ever known, between someone slender, yet curvy like Sofia Vergara or Megan Fox etc., next to a model type like Gisele or Miranda, the shapely women always win! Just by listening to them talk, w/out being shown pics or being asked, you know what they prefer. All the men I’ve ever known, it’s always the same.

Victoria’s Secret models should not look like runway models, in my opinion. You’re right it seems year after year they keep getting thinner.
She’s always been borderline when it comes to being too skinny. Her tush and face are mainly what makes her look so good imo.

I’ve never really payed attention to her much, even on this website but then someone said i remind them of Miranda. that was a wonderful compliment now i’m obsessed with her! I’m not even tall like her im only 5′2 but i always wear heals. and i agree with some people she looks more like a runway model now. and one of the first couple comments said you must be thin if you appear skinny in your skinny jeans but i have size 0 skinny jeans and they are too loose on me and my legs aren’t even really sticks. are there size 00 jeans or something? I love Miranda!! She studied nutrition before her modelling career took off. I would imagine a jet-setting lifestyle where she spends less than 3 days in any one place would make it difficult to eat healthily all the time. I think that any times she doesn’t eat and ends up starving would be unintentional on her part and due to the lack of healthy food.
She inspires me to eat better and exercise, not to starve myself and go on fad diets.
Just post more about Doutzen, instead of only those scary skinny VS models!
Why do people always refer to this supposed BMI ban on models with a BMI under 18? If I remember correctly that was only enforced in one country in Europe..Spain? The majority of designers/fashion week organisers refused outright to ban skinny models. They don’t care.
I don’t get the fascination with her. How is turning your once feminine body into a pubescent boy’s body appealing? Why do some girls think “the skinnier the legs the better”? Why do you not value muscle and meat?
I feel sorry for people who yearn to look like this. It is scary. Do you not have anything in life to bring happiness, give you joy, give you self-confidence? Why yearn to look the tiniest possible, out of hospital, that is. Find something truly important to make you happy, such as volunteering, or just work on self-esteem.

Hi girls, I just wanted you to know that after I read the “Your boyfriend’s lying” comments when I said that he stated that the Victoria’s Secret girls looked gross I decided to investigate the claim so I told him that a few of you said he was lying and he explained that you “must be anorexic if you think those girls look good.” (his opinion, not mine) I asked him if he had to pick one girl as the prettiest and one girl as the worst which would he pick and he said Candice Swanepoel would be good “if she gained some weight and you couldn’t see her hip bones and ribs anymore” and that Allesandra is “disgusting”. Just one man’s opinion but I just wanted to let you know that he wasn’t lying.

Has anyone seen the latest Victoria secret commercial?(I saw it last night on FX in the United States) Alll the models are super skinny and bony..Its horrifing to think that girls everywhere must feel like that’s what it takes to get their half naked bodies on today’s tv.

@Rose: i believe you, its been scientifically proven men are more attracted to women with wider hips. Its in thier genes. Its becuase women with wider hips can have baby easier or something like that.
my goal used to be a victoria secret model one day. this is just completely discouraging. she looks way to skinny and you can tell it’s not natural because she’s not even smiling and her face is sunken into two dimples. looking at this, i’d rather model with someone else. i just don’t understand why they changed the image of what an angel looks like. these women used to have beautiful curves and now they just look like polls.

I’m really interested, if VS sells more with super skinny models? Just remember, why VS became so popular and successful: their angels (this is because especially men are consumers). This latest devolopment with all angels (and hey, Heidi is the only exception and I’m sure this will change pretty fast, too) makes me really angry. The latest fashion show didn’t appeal to me at all – and I’m at the point to ignore VS completely. And yes, this means consumption! VS is not high fashion – it’s wannabe high fashion with super skinny angels! Mistaken approach, guys.
I hope it doesn’t end as she looks great. Good for her. Very beautiful, thin, perfect body. Its great that VS uses both real world curvy and real world thin models, not just the super tall runway fashion models. This is a great thing and I hope it doesn’t end.

tiny dancer- i also dont think they do have bigger boobs! i think they are just pushed up to all hell and padded. The high fashion models are not because its not so ‘elegant’ and sophisticated then

I believe you for sure, a lot of my older guy friends are like that too (and past bfs), yet i have to say the younger ones would prefer them this skinny. I like hearing that some guys are like that too because it gives you more confidence to just be fit and healthy and strong (yet still slim) and know that someone will find you more attractive.
