I’m not implying she is cross-dressing but I think she definitely tries to embody a kind of androgyny and ‘boyish’ physique. Her legs are really, really skinny! But yet don’t look Miranda Kerr skinny. It’s strange, I think she may just be that kind of shape.

Too thin.she is always on the go-partying, djing, travelling, etc..probably doesnt eat much and drinks, smokes, etc..She is actually really nice in person..
I didn’t know it was possible for one person to simultaneously look like a scrawny teenage boy skateboarder and an old lady who has no choice but to eat cat food. Kudos on the brilliant accomplishment.

I personally don’t think she looks that different to what she did some moths ago…in fact…she looks to be about the same weight.
She just seems like someone who is naturally on the slimmer side. I think it’s just the way she dresses her frame that makes it look bad…i.e. if you have no butt, you really shouldn’t be wearing something that just accentuates the fact that you have a no-ass!
She could weigh 140 pounds and she’d still be scary. What is she, one of the seven dwarfs with that hat?

I don’t think she looks any different.
I think it’s just what she’s wearing. Sometimes I would wear something somewhat baggy and everyone would go on about how skinny I got and then next day I would wear something form fitting and not look as thin anymore. When you have that body shape it makes a huge difference which clothes you wear.
She has been tiny and her clothing stays consistent.

I doubt that she’s naturally this emaciated. She’s most likely a big fan of Coke (and I’m not talking about the beverage). Samantha and Alexa Chung should get together and talk about food.

I really adore her, but yes she is way too skinny.
I’m sure everyone will think I’ve lost it when I say this, but I actually think Sam has a pretty cute face. Not here of course, but when you look at pics of her from the pre-Lindsay days, she’s actually not so bad. It appears she struggles with some problems, but that’s HW life. Most celebs do/did it, the only difference is how much of your life you let it occupy.

I’m in the “she’s hot bc she’s androgynous looking” bandwagon as well. If i was to hook up with a woman it’d most definitely be someone like Sam, or Shane from the L word

lol@ Jodi and the cat food comment. I think her diet is crack cocaine, methamphetamines, and cigarettes. But that’s just me. Third pic is seriously shocking. Something tells me this girl isn’t this thin on purpose or under the pressures of hollywood. Scary.
Ps. I’ve seen pictures of SR from when she was a teenager just making music and she was NORMAL and HEALTHY looking. SLim, but certainly nothing close to this. Several years later there is no natural reason for such a drastic change.
I Love sam and i like her skinny. She may have lost some weight but i think that’s just the way she is.
I like her. She is not “Hollywood” and I’m not going to bash her for not trying to be an airbrushed blonde barbie. If she wants to go for the androgynous look, that’s her choice (and IMO she can pull it off); sorry, but I’m rather annoyed by all the negative comments she keeps getting for her appearance.
Now on the weight-subject… no question, she looks too thin and unhealthy. Don’t want to speculate, what…habits that may or may not be to blame.
This girl definately is not well; I doubt that she’s ‘naturally’ this skinny. She’s doing something to herself to be this emaciated looking.

I’m not into going to the tanning bed because I used to do it when I was younger and had to have some spots removed, however, i feel like when you have that much skin exposed, bright flourescent white legs are just not attractive. i think self tanner may have been a good idea here. And I also have nothing against the “pale” look, but against certain colors, sometimes it’s just too shocking, like we see here with fuschia colored shorts!
