She’s a runner, and it looks like she must literally run her ass off everyday. You don’t stay this lean w/o eating clean everyday too.
That Vera Wang top is beautiful. She is really fit and gorgeous.
Her mouth looks the way mine did when I fell off my bike when I was 8 and had to get stitches. Strange.

Her face has always been oddly puffy but it’s finally looking aged and more angular (not sure it that’s due to weight or time).

Id rather be chubby, out of shape or overweight then look like that. She looks so unhealthy and much older then she is. Being that thin sucks the life out of you.

Agree with most of you… I admire her commitment to exercise, but I think she’d look much prettier with a little fat on her frame and face. But then again, I always prioritize “pretty” over “skinny” and “happy” is most important of all.

I think she looks beautiful in the second pic. In the others I don’t like her extreme posing and unnatural facial expressions. As far as her weight is concerned, if she’s willing to be super-disciplined every day that’s her choice, and she obviously likes her body, so that’s the only thing that matters.
The running comments always crack me up… Makes sense, tho: nothing will thin a gal out faster than running, and several of the readers here seem WELL aware of that, myself included.

I agree with Bellerina comment. Also she is overly skinny fit. She is one of those women who exercise to much and she has muscle on a small frame and it looks horrible a little manly . . .example of someone else who is Kelly Ripa or SJP.

Keep in mind some people have neuropathic problems where the face freezes and/or contorts at times. I’m not saying she has it but I’m certainly not gonna swallow those Botox rumors! Women don’t stop at one procedure. She doesn’t look like she’s had work done. On a related matter, she could certainly throw a brother on the floor

saw her at the gym a few months back in LA…this woman is SCARY SKINNY and super MUSCLE-Y (even in comparison to all the other LA gym rats) but in a totally unnattractive way. Its like watching a train wreck…can’t keep your eyes away. She must completely starve herself and work out like 5 hours a day. She looked awful in person.
She is a celebrity. Has a celebrity body. Done. No one is getting that without dropping 100G a year on a world-class personal trainer. Not attainable by a normal person who has to go to work and think about ANYTHING besides food and fitness.
I find her painful to look at. Not like she’s hideous, she just always look like she is suffering and desperate somehow.
God people are so MEAN to her. I’ve seen her in interviews & have always thought she seems so great, down to earth and natural. Maybe she just doesn’t photograph well! Sheesh.
I was watching a video of Deena Kastor (famous female marathoner) the other day and thinking: “Her body looks exactly like Renee’s!” This woman is very, VERY fit–
Pointy, bony, looks like her skin is stretched over her bones. Not attractive, which is a shame when she’s putting in so much effort to be! Quite pretty, though would look much nicer with a bit of (/lot more)weight on her. Don’t like the dress or the shoes, and I think the hairdo ages her.

I read/heard from several sources that she didn’t want to give up her “uber-skinny” body to gain the weight and would be wearing a “fat suit” or whatever is necessary in lieu of actually putting on weight AGAIN. Besides, at her age NOW, it is/would be so much harder on her body to lose back down to her uber-skinny self! And she just turned 40. (Her consistent skinny-ness is aging her so rapidly…she looked 40 AT LEAST 5 to 7 years back.

I am one of the (seemingly very) few of those who thinks she looks nice. She looks fit and her hair and makeup look much better than what it usually does. She is pale, yes…but I think it suits her. She doesn’t look sickly pale…she looks glowy pale. It’s pretty. And I don’t think her facial expressions look horrible, either. Plus I’ve heard some of the photographers saying some pretty nasty things to get a celeb turn around for a picture. I would probably grimace, too.
Jetta C – She was in The spirit of the Marathon, right? It was a good movie that was on Hulu either way.
With a face like that, pudgy, swollen, falling down, her super-toned-up hysteric body looks definitely out of place.

Actually, if she just turned 40, then she’s not looking that bad. It’s hard, b/c at an older age, having extra weight will make you look soft and flabby and saggy; but then being super-skinny will make you look like her. I think she’s doing the best she can. Maybe if she gained a few pounds she would look better, though.
I bet that the deal with her weird facial expression is that she has chipmunk cheeks, and smiling exaggerates that. So she tries not to smile; but she can’t just keep a straight face, b/c that would make her look like she’s scowling (like Victoria Beckham). So she tries to do some sort of half-smile, and it just comes out looking weird.
