Weight-wise she is looking a bit better than the last time we saw her, which was back in September 2009.

She looked her best in 1998, just look at the music videos for “celebrity skin” and “malibu”. She was SOO beautiful!

Wow, we often comment women on looking healthy or unhealthy just based on their how we think their bodies look, but Courtney is like the posterchild for looking unhealthy. Of course that doesn’t really come as a surprise. I hope she’s doing ok nowadays. I don’t know what the deal with her skin is, if she’s just feeling cold (pale turns to blotchy sometimes), or if it’s from the drugs..
Ummmm… wow.
Her outfit looks really clean and understated for once, but I find the bruised legs and screwed-up face-lift a bit distracting.
Love her shoes. The new album is fantastic. Live Through This will always be my favorite, though.
Is like take a tramp out of the street and dress her in gold and diamond , but always a tramp, sorry , but you also need a wash, i feel mean , but i had to say it!
OK, she looks better weight-wise, but shes still a mess. Are her hands and legs all bruised/spotty or is my computer screen dirty? *hahahahaha* You think shes still taking drugs?
Weight-wise…she may have added a few lbs. Do like the dress, though; but agree w/your comments, Londoncalling. What is w/her knuckles on her fingers (in middle of fingers and where her fingers meet at her hands??) Does anyone think that perhaps she could have been (or is) struggling w/bulimia?
She just does not look well at all. All the drugs plus losing soooo much weight. I’d seen pics of her even thinner than the ones taken in September, 2009. I feel sorry for daughter Frances Bean (who is like 17 or so now). It must be difficult for her daughter growing up w/her mom always in the headlines for her drinking/drug problems, etc. Know that Frances had been shuffled around a LOT…the court took custody of her several times…but I think she lived w/her grandparents or something?

Yes she’s thin. She doesn’t look good though:( her hair looks really brassy and even though I’m naturally fair and generally all for embracing your natural skin tone she’d look sooo much better with a subtle tan. She has potential. If she’d get a manicure, wear a more flattering lip color, and change her hair I think she could look really pretty. Love the shoes.

She needs to do something about her wardrobe, on the real. Wear some tights to deal with your mangled leg syndrome. What a ridiculously cut dress equipped with equally ridiculous shoulder pads.. And she should probably tell her makeup artist to put the M.A.C. glitter away, and shoot himself in the face.

She looks like a cadaver. Good weight wise and her outfit is decent…but that SKIN….ouch. I am not usually an advocate of tanning but it could really help her. Or maybe an airbrush, not to be darker necessarily, but to even out scars, bruises etc all over her. Funny – usually people wear shimmery makeup to enhance their skin but on her it just looks hysterical because her skin everywhere is so bad!
I never recall this woman being attractive. I guess she is a warning to what hard living and hard drugs will do to a person. Physically atleast, her body/face has never recovered. Unfortunate.

I really like Hole’s new song!! And I think she’s looking better than she did about a year ago. She had bad plastic surgery on her face, but it looks like she’s been trying to clean it up. I do miss how she looked in the late 90’s though.

It’s a major improvement, but weight-wise she looks the same to me.
What’s the name of the heredetary illness that is related to bad circulation and makes your articulations (knuckles, knees, elbows…) look darker permanently? Judging by the pics, Courtney knows what I’m talking about. There’s a solution though, tanning.

I used to really love the way she looked prior to all this crazy surgery.. I think she had her nose done a few times..@Kianna ~Wow the bulimia thing.. might not be that far off. I really dont understand the bumpy, bruised skin.. what the heck is she doing. Train wreck and very very sad.

@nnn, yes this will be Lindsay if she makes it to this age…her skin is awful, looking at these photos of her makes me sad, and makes me happy she is not in her daughters life at the time, probably for the best, she epitomizes unhealthy here…weight is the least of her concerns…
I love Courtney. She looks she’s losing weight again though, I hope she stops here. Otherwise, I don’t think she looks bad for 45 most of the time!

wow, she looks rough. but then, i clicked on the 2009 link and agree that this is a huge improvement. the legs still look pretty bad and up close it’s still a mess, but it clearly could be worse.

I am more concerned that she seems unwell and ought to consider taking a EFA supplement. Weight/appearance issues are secondary.
At least her weight looks better and shes dressed somewhat normal. I do wonder about all the brusing though. Sometimes malnourished people or people who are or were recently underweight bruise easily due to vitamin defeciancy. It may also be a form of self mutilation? Sorry not trying to accuse her of anything just guessing. Get well soon courtney!

She looks like a drug-addicted (which probably IS), but still a lot younger than she is. Maybe this is off topic… I was schocked when I read she was married to Kurt Cobain, I just didn’t know that, and I thougt he was about 40 years old when he died, not just 27!

The new album is not really from hole because apart from courtney nobody of the old band members are left. However, regarding promotion it was probably better to use hole.
