Haircut is awful. Why does she insist on looking like a boy?
Too thin for my tastes, but very toned. Girlfriend works for it, obviously. Love the short, sassy hair.
I think she would look better if she wore a different color (a red wouldve looked nice) Most celebrities try to rock a designer dress but forgetting that they would look so much better if they wore their own personal style and color. The nude shoes is throwing off the look and I think she wouldn’ve looked nicer with a different fit. Anyways, her hair looks nice but shes looking older:( She’s pretty nonetheless.

She looks beautiful but i don’t like the back of her hair, i only like short cuts if they have a bit of poof, which usually means a lot of products and a more structured cut if you have fair hair. Yea i obsess over hair. From the front it looks ok, but i don’t she has the face that looks good in short hair no matter what, when she hasn’t done anything to it it’ll look like flat, unflattering little boy cut. The dress is cute.

She has a likeable and quirky personality. Cute hair. But she has always had a strange body. I can’t quite understand what is going on with her skinny long limbs. Her upper arms from the back look a little granny esque. Strange fro-fro dress. Go Renee!
eh… I like the dress, but I think 1) it needs a good necklace, and 2) it’s not flattering for her not to have her back covered because it’s strangely bony.

I think her body looks great here, super lean and thin w/o looking sickly like she has sometimes in the past. Also, does anyone else think her face/eyes look like she may have had some work done? Maybe it is just her make-up….but I am not so sure….

Remember that she’s 40/41. I think she looks fantastic. I love her fit body, and the haircut is cute on her. The dress is a nice change for her, and it’s flattering –it kind of fills her out. Just wish the shoes were a different colour.
Not sure if it’s the dress or her but she has a square back. Not a fan of the hair cut(don’t like the back). I think she’s one of the few actresses that look better a little heavier. Her weight imo doesn’t distribute evenly when she is skinny..which she is right now.
She looks odd and she doesn’t carry herself in a natural way…it’s like she uses high heels and fancy outfits just for these occasion….I usually like skinny but in this case I must admit I would LOVE TO SEE HER CHUBBY….SHE WOULD LOOK MORE HUMAN

Her hair looks soooo thin. And her stances always seem very awkward to me. (At least she always seems uncomfortable when she is dressed up.) But… her body is great, not an ounce of fat. Kudos to that!

Another one, besides Sarah Jessica Parker, who has muscle & a very low amount of body fat. If someone insists on being underweight, then she might as well develop some muscle, rather than just be skinny AND flabby.
I’m not crazy about the hairstyle, but it is an improvement, she is wearing a dark blue Vera Wang dress, beautiful, i love the bow at the back of the dress, a very nice touch,and despite the muscle that we usually see, here she looks very feminine, elegant and sweet.
Her hair needs more poof it is too flat and casual for her outfit. She seems like a stone white hard statue. Not soft at all.
I think that when you reach a certain age, skinny only makes you look older. I think Renee could use some weight on her body…

She has a cute face… but god, she needs to work on her posture. Her back looks all hunched, her hair looks terrible, she looks way too thin & and her head just doesn’t match it. And those heels are way too spikey.
For some reason I cannot stand this woman. Her body is very fit though and it’s obvious she works hard to maintain a figure like that, which I respect. But she’s just one of those people I look at and are immediately annoyed by.
I think she works hard on her physique, and it looks great. I realize that being a bit fat (except it’s now called ‘curvy’ or ‘voluptuous’) with big boobs is very ‘in’ right now, but it’s not the only look out there, nor is it for everyone. I don’t care for some of her poses, that back/over the shoulder one…she can just get rid of it. It makes her look like a linebacker and she doesn’t have enough muscle to make it look nice. I agree on the hair; she looks good in shorter hair, but this is just a bowl cut. It needs more layers and shape to it.
Horrible on all levels…Renee appears to be posing in the mirror for hours at a time in order to make her body look skeletal. The malnourished look makes her face look so much older…

(she was shopping in a store I was in a few years ago and she came right up to me to compliment me on ‘my look’) She’s not at all stuck up, more insecure…it’s the posing and serious body issues that make her appear snobby. That hair is TERRIBLE!!! The cut is so unflattering on her face and the highlights look like bleach streaks someone did at home. Her face looks blotchy and a mess too. Needs makeup or skin treatments or something??!!! As far as the body–she is thin, has bad posture and would prob look better if she gained some weight. Nice to see her out of her North Face black hoodie though;)

I love her, I think she is such an adorable person, but… just chill with the workouts and eat more! I think she would look SO much better if she gained like 10-15 pounds. I’m going to go against the grain, and say that I love her at this weight. She does not look emaciated, she looks like and athlete who is has muscle definition, and also a clean healthy diet. Notice that there are no bones sticking out, even her back is has muscle definition, like a dancer.
When I first look at her I don’t think wow she’s way too skinny, but she’s too thin for her build. Like seeing her from the back, her frame doesn’t look small like some of the “naturally thin” celebs. I’d be miserable having to work out so often just to have that body…and I’d love to see her with longer hair, it makes her face prettier.
Normally I’m one of her biggest defenders, but she really looks awful here; tired, gaunt, pale, and her hair is all wrong.

She usually has that weird kissy-face look and in the second picture she’s hunching her shoulders forward and pushing her back out (notice we can’t see her shoulder blades)…what is she doing that for?!?! I got a pretty bad haircut yesterday, but when I saw Renee’s hair here, I can see how I could get mine like this with a bit more of a trim. Of course, it seems that the majority of people here hate it, but I’m with the minority and think it’s cute. It’s refreshing to see a celebrity without the token long, damaged-looking extensions.

I used to think Renee was cute, but not anymore. I think she looks like a praying mantis in these photos! It is obvious she is not someone who is naturally slender (like Zoe Saldana or Gisele B.), so her excessive thinness is weird-looking rather than attractive. Not mention the hair and eyebrows are awful.
Her hair is getting thinner over the years, because of her diet and exercise. She can improve her hair if she eats better.

The feeling is that she is over-obsessed about her body and that is what makes her unattractive.. I had read somewhere that her hair keeps falling out due to malnutrition. Then again I guess it is hard not to be so body-conscious when you are in Hollywood.. She is a great actress and seems to be a sweet person… We love you Renee, even if you gain some weight..

Hair cut really works, this dress does wonders for her and she looks very happy. Yes, she is underweight like 70% of the women on here, but I think that she is still fine.

The hair cut is fine, her face looks good, and her weight looks fine too (though she does have a large bone structure and can carry more weight and still look good). The only thing that looks off here is that her skin looks a little old (around the legs mostly, but in other places too) I think she looks good.

kat…agree w/you. I had heard that she lives on hard boiled eggs (for long stretches of time) for her “meals” & ocassionally for her snacks. Three or 4 eggs/daily would be like 320 calories calories & if she doesnt eat the yolks (which I also heard)…that would be like 60-70 calories. Also, I do not find Renee all that pretty…something in or about her face…cannot pin point it. The only time I thought she was pretty was after she lost the weight from the 1st Brigdet Jones movie & she was very thin & was on the Red Carpet in a long yellow or melon colored dress with her longer blonde hair. And that has been about 7 or 8 years ago?? Since then her looks just do not appeal to me (IMHO).

like a lot of people feel, there is something about her that is not appealing to me but i can’t quite pinpoint it.
i know part of it is that she often poses in ways that seem fake. sometimes she poses like she’s all girly and whimsical, other times she looks like she’s attempting to be sexy. she never looks effortless on the red carpet, or at least she hasn’t since before she made it big.

She’s certainly got a strange body, made all the more strange by the fact that she’s so thin. I think she has a large framed upper body and thin legs. Not very feminine which is why is contrasts so badly with the pretty/frou-frou dress. She’d look fantastic if she dressed to her body type, e.g. military/safari (straight lines and sharp tailoring). She’d rock a Victoria Beckham pencil dress with killer heels.
