She looks great in the first pic, but she has more naturally full legs so that length isn’t the most flattering. A softer cut would’ve been better. I also think, while her face glows, it’s not actually THAT attractive. Something about her face is asymmetrical and awkwardly proportioned, and I like a more natural beauty – ie. Charlize Theron.

I think she looks very pretty but that dress doesn’t suit her. I also think she lies about her age and it’s catching up with her because her face just looks… older. Not in a bad way or anything.

i think her face looks different because she is wearing more make-up than usual… especially around her cheek area. plus, she isn’t really posed in any particular photo, so her mouth looks awkward. however, she is gorgeous as always. i am more fond of her when she rocks her sultry red locks; either way, she is a true beauty.

I think she is ugly in the face and I definitely wouldn’t want her body.
Some comments are absurd. Chubby? Not everyone has to (or WANTS to) look like a twig, she has a natural, curvy body and looks healthier than most people on this site. And short legs, how ridiculous, there’s not much she can do about that. Some people aren’t born with supermodel bodies and people just need to accept that and stop judging.
That’s a pretty cool dress. I don’t envy her body but it’s a nice one

Scarlett J. looks really good. The dress fits her well – I’d love to see it in a better color, though. Something about the color of the dress + the color of her make-up just isn’t doing her justice. But her body looks fabulous. If it’s good enough for Ryan Reynolds, then heck, she must be doing something right!
she has lost a lot of weight in the last year or so, she used to be much curvier. i thought she was fat before, now she’s just normal. but very pretty.
She’s chubby, not proportioned, untoned and the dress is ugly and unflattering. Her features are very harsh and weird, the make-up is just awful. I will never understand all the fuss about this women.

The dress however is very ugly, and not a good length for her. She’s very short and stumpy, so it makes her look sort of thick/fattish even though she’s not, so I understand what people mean when they say she’s chubby – she looks it because her height and proportions. She’ll never look long and lean so I guess she has to rock the ‘curvy’ thing. Overall I’ll take her over 90% of other celebs.
I wish we could get a post on Gwyneth Paltrow at that event, she wore Armani, too, and I thought she looked fantastic. Scarlett did, too, great example of how women don’t have to be skinny and toned all over to look good. And I see no difference in her face whatsoever.

I think she looks pretty good and very healthy weight wise. I think she has unfortunate knees, (so do I) they’re not typically skinny girl knees, which kind of affect the way the rest of her legs look.

I’ve always just thought Scarlett is a perfect example of a completely normal person becoming famous. I don’t think there is anything amazingly “beautiful” about her. She just looks like a normal person who has a lot of people trying to make her a “true beauty”.. Nothing wrong with being normal but the girl just isn’t a natural born, drop-dead gorgeous beauty.

I noticed that her face seems different as well. In fact, it was the first thing I thought when I saw the post. I think it is just her makeup, though. Her eyebrows look significantly different than they usually do…much fuller toward her nose. She usually seems to do a “smokey” type look with her eyeshadow, especially on the lower rim of her eyes. That and she doesnt have on darker lipstick like she normally seems to wear.

i think her face looks a bit different because shes slimmed down and it shows in her face. her cheeks and jawbone are a lot more angular because she has less fat in her face to soften her features. ive always thought she was very unusual looking and sometimes it work for her and sometimes it doesnt but i think she looks good here. i love the dress and hair. its a lot of makeup but it doesnt look bad. she looks ethereal in a sci-fi way if that makes any sense.
bitchin dress. i do think she is sexy.. its natural. altho in movies i think she seems to be trying too hard to be sexy. i think her idea of acting sexy results in trying too hard when she really doesnt need to try at all.

(IMO)…Scarlett J. looks gorgeous, amazing…STUNNING here. She did a lot of gym work and toning up for this particular movie. She also altered her eating/diet as well. She did lose some lbs in doing that as well. I love the 3rd picture of her (just her face). Love the dress on her as well. The dress is a bit Kate Winslett or Kate Hudson-ish…I agree.

@Jennie I think the people visiting this website want to know where the clothes come from for a number of reasons:
1) might want to purchase them
2) might want to know the designer so they can know who’s clothes they take a liking to, and even if they can’t afford it might want to get the diffusion line (i.e. I love Chloe, but can only really afford See by Chloe)
3) might work in fashion or media generally
4) just appreciate fashion as an art form and want to know about who made it in the same way when you see a beautiful painting you want to know the artist
I agree with those who said her cheeks are overly contoured. Resulting in them looking just as chubby as usual but “off” and throwing her natural cuteness out of balance. Dress is questionable and on her looks less than great. Normally, I love a pearlescent, futuristic, minimalist look, but it just isn’t working on her.
I’ve never found her beautiful, but certainly attractive. It’s a good thing she doesn’t feel the need to become a bag of bones.

I think people are used to seeing celebs with super skinny limbs and defined muscles but actually for this to show up in a photo you tend to have to have to be thin which is not always a good look on everyone.
I workout all the time but being pale I find my muscle definition rarely shows up on camera. The people who do look super toned, in real life probably look gaunt and too thin.
I never understood the hype about her. The only people who seem to like her are “not-so-skinny” white women who want to believe she’s curvy and looks like them. She has never been curvy, thats why she wears dresses and clothes that either CREATE a waistline, or things like this thing that cover her straight up-and-down shape. Thats what bothers me about her, its all such an illusion and fake – JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE IN HOLLYWOOD!! However, she is sold like she’s different. I’ve always been a huge HUGE fan of Old Hollywood & I hated how they tried to market her as the “new” Marilyn Monroe. No way. `i have watched the movie, and she stole the charm and looked very very HOT! Whenever she showed up, we just could not take our eyes off her, and particularly her body. Since she lost weight, you can see her waistline, and her hip—the curve. I am always drawn to the pure and innocent beauty, instead of the sexy typpe, and hence i ALWAYS love Gwyneth Paltrow. But in this movie, once you watch it, you will understand why SHE is indeed THE star! As a woman, i love slender women, instead of sexy ones, and sometimes i could not understand why men would be attracted to the cheap, low-end, overly sexy type. But in this movie, she looked very high-end, sophisticated, and yet HOT! Actually, in this movie, the color of her hair (Dark brown)turned her into more high-end, and more sophisticated look. You shall see!
