   Either she’s gained weight in the upper legs, or those pants just make her look very hippy. I wish she took better care of her hair too. It looks really scraggly here.

   She hasn’t gained at all. This is just the girls body type and she can’t do anything about it. We just saw her hiking 3 days ago and everyone was like “Oooh she’s lost”. Ridiculous it is. She looks cute and slim here.

    Something very 70’s and hippie about her. I like it. Yes, she has wider hips than most of the people featured on this site, but she’s very fit. I think it may stand out more because she is shorter, maybe? and the outfit? (like someone mentioned) Either way she’s still very thin.

    Aww she’s really pretty and natural looking. I never realized how she had hips, I always thought they were way smaller but she still looks cute. She’s probably wearing boots because it’s still kind of chilly in Southern California today.

    inverted isosceles triangle legs. my least favorite kind of legs (save those of the morbidly obese). i get that people find them beautiful and womanly, but they are not for me. something about the knee being SO small in proportion to the hip is irritating to me, i much prefer an athletic leg.

    She’s skinny but with hips wider than usual, that’s her body type, che can’t choose where the weight goes. I think she looks cute here, I have a similar body type and in Brazil it’s really apreciated!

    Her hips are wide in relation to her legs and waist. That doesn’t mean they are wide. Nearly ALL men are wired to like hips that are 10 inches larger than the waist.

    Celebrate your hips. They aren’t something to be embarrassed of or only something that is okay if you are ethnic enough.

    Completely agree with fbo_girl! Why is there the idea that white girls should have big boobs and no hips? It’s annoying to read an article on an ethnic girl, and her curves are celebrated, but when the article is on a white girl, it’s: “She’s gained a lot in the hips.”

    Her hips have been like that for a long time, she usually dresses better to camouflage them. I don’t see why people love her style so much – she has her own column in In Style magazine – yikes, she’s the last person I’d ask for fashion advice…

    Hasn’t gained, is definitely this shape and size. Bummer, but she usually disguises it well. Skinny jeans are not for everyone.

    It’s amazing to me how many people think those are hips. They are not, they are saddlebags. You can really see it when you look at the rest of the set of these pictures. She has gained and it went to her thighs and saddlebags. Like someone said a few comments above me, hips are higher. Not that there is anything wrong with having saddlebags at all.

    wowsa, I just now realize she’s always dressed to camouflage her “wide” hips. I don’t mean to say they ARE wide, they’re just wide for hollywood standards. But she’s fooled me successfully! But now I like her all the better, I think those hips are cute =)

    I don’t see the whole thighs thing you are talking about…she has shapely, trim legs. If you aren’t starving, you produce estrogen which gives the top of the leg more curve than the bottom. It’s a woman’s leg.
