She looks cute, but I don’t think her legs are all that great. They’re very short and there’s no muscle tone at all. You can tell she’s just naturally thin and doesn’t really work for it.
pretty girl, lovely smile…but those shorts are really putting the “P” in pear! i’m not a fan of “wintery” looking shoes in the summer time, they just look heavy and lumpy paired the shorts, ditto for the flannel look shirt…
She looks cute. I agree that she’s naturally thin and probably doesn’t have to do much to keep her looking that way.

I don’t think that that’s neccesarily true.
My legs look like that (Not in shape or size. She’s pearish and I’m a rectangle who can become an apple, so my legs are straight up and down/thin) and I work out frequently.
Exercising is healthy..

I agree with Stella, Rachel looks great and we don’t all need to be ‘toned’. Obviously she has muscle tone in her legs, otherwise she wouldn’t be able to walk. Also, I think I do see some muscle in her thighs.
What does she do now?? anyone know? I know she was on the o.c but that was a few years ago.
She looks good! and this without workout! Her legs may be short but not every woman has long legs. and these are great!

I think she looks cute. She doesn’t look like she works out much, but is still thin. Also, I really like her style. I like the urban hippy look she generally sports.

Those shoes look terrible with shorts, they should only be worn with jeans. Her body is ok, but she needs to tone IMO. I bet she looks sloppy in a bikini. Gorgeous face and hair!!!
I agree.. bad shoes, look too clunky for summer but other than that she is adoreable and has great, great hair! I’m jealous!
I can’t wait for the “grown out summer-bleached locks” trend to vanish. I can’t believe people purposely go to a salon to have this look implemented.

Why do people go on about her great style and fashion sense? I just don’t see it. Not saying she looks bad or anything, but just certainly not anything special. The last few posts of her on this site and others she’s just been wearing normal boring clothing – I’ve never seen her in anything distinctive or fabulous. People may criticise Mischa Barton and Mary Kate Olsen for their fashion choices but they will always remain my true fashion icons as opposed to this girl. At least they have something unique and fun!

I don’t think the shorts are the problem so much as her LEGS. I have legs like that, just not quite as bad. Skinny at the bottom, wide at the top. It’s just…confusing. And strange looking. Long tops were made for this body type.

@mpoore …Everyones legs are thinner at the bottom than at the top, thighs and calves are generally not the same size.

@lola + @mpoore – I think that with some people the difference in size between calves and thighs is just less harmonious though, rachel bilson is an example. I have the same thing going on with my legs, my thighs are my problem area, I would love to have big, chunky calves. My half-sister has big calves and she feels they are the bain of her existence lol, but I would prefer to have her “manly” calves over legs like rachel, and mine, and i’m guessing mpoore’s. Its a pain in the ass, we always want what we can’t have.

she is so adorable and I absolutely love her hair, always have. Her hair reminds me of a little girl’s hair, very very healthy and bouncy and fresh, this is what i’m always trying to achieve with my hair, to go back to the way it was when i was little.
Anyway, hate the shoes; not because they’re wintery; but because they are ugly, I do like the shorts and the top; and who cares if she’s a pear, she’s a very small one.
Her outfit is really cute. I LOVE plaid, and I like her shorts. I guess I’m into simple and basic outfits, not super trendy stuff like what Kate Bosworth was wearing in the last post. The clogs are the only thing I don’t like. I can’t help but think of Kimmy Gibbler everytime I see a pair…and as always, Rachel is a cutie. Every once in a while her thigh hip area look really wide, but I think she’s just caught in unflattering poses/angles sometimes. She looks nice.

Am i the only person who thinks she looks really good? Lots of people nit pick about a person’s shape or in Rachel’s case that her legs are slightly bigger at the top or whatever.

Rachel Bilson has great style. She is simple and cute. She can’t help it! Neither can I. People are always jealous of me. I don’t work out all the time and look great. HA! I feel sorry for the rest of ya’ll. You get on here and criticize these people. They are human beings, too. Stop attacking them for wearing a plaid shirt, shorts, and clogs. She got dressed and went outside in that…who cares? These pictures shouldn’t be documented in the first place.

@Kimberly…The post states she was visiting with her mom. Most actors live “normal” lives between films/shows, etc. Why the harshness?
Personally, I think she comes across well adjusted and confident. I think her petite body suits her very well.
I agree with others who say her legs are not that fantastic because I own a pair that are similar. Knobby knees and naturally thin, but pale white, and thighs that could definitely use some toning.
I like her shoes and her outfit, her hair is nice, and her face is pretty, so thumbs up, overall, and I like to see that she is just being a normal person without going tanorexic and overdone.

Gosh, I don’t think her legs look short at all! With or without high shoes, she seems to have nice, long, slim calves. Her body looks great to me.

Rachel looks so adorable & cute here. She’s a small, “thinnish” framed girl.I think her legs look good (IMHO)! Her weight does NOT seem to fluctuate wildly like many other thin actresses who are not truly meant to be thin. (Like those who yo-yo..LiLo, Jessica Simpson & others)!

I’m sorry but this is not “cute” and her hair looks disgusting, it’s practically multicoloured. The outfit is okay but the shoes REALLY don’t go with the shorts.

i know i’ve said some things about rachel bilson’s legs in the past, but i feel the need to say that i think she looks great. her legs are my least favorite shape because they resemble mine, only a little more exaggerated. she’s tiny and she’s pretty and i’m sure her fiance loves to grab on to the wider part of her (assuming hc is not gay), it’s just not my ideal body shape.
stop saying she shouldn’t wear those shorts, i think they look fine. sure, it would be more flattering to wear shorts with a lower rise, but it’s nice to see a white woman accentuate her hips/butt/thighs.

I like Rachel and I think she is just as cute as she can be! I like lots of different body types though…I think we all can make ourselves look absolutely gorgeous with the right clothes and confidence!
Yeah, those kinds of comments are so absurd, I never know what to make of them. They just make me go “Wow…”.

She just has a small frame, but she is not that skinny to me. She’s cute and all, but I don’t like the shape of her legs and those shoes do not go at all. Just because it’s a trend doesn’t mean you look stylish just slapping it on.

Yes, maybe it’s not a necessity to work out…however, almost everyone looks better with a little muscle tone. So, to say she has great legs is, IMO, a big fail because they are not great…they may have the potential to be great, but they look soft and skinny fat. Terrible shoes, too.
