She looks fashionably dressed. Nice. However, what’s up with her hand in the 4th photo?! Yikes!
How can she walk with those shoes? On the other hand, the rest of the ensemble is very lady like.

Thin? Yes, and unattractively so. But fashionable? Not really, in my opinion – maybe it’s just me but I really don’t understand why she’s hailed as some sort of fashion icon when the clothes she wears aren’t even that nice…
Fit as always. Doesn’t need a botox update… looking good. I would never be able to wear those heals!!!!!!

I hate to say this, because I love SJP, but she just looks old and haggard here. She does look thin, but between the hands, the mis-matched hair and her neck, she just looks really old. It’s like she trying to hang on to her old Carrie days, but the outfit looks too young for her. I like the thin look on most people, but I think she’d look better if she gained a bit.

Whoa. Those hands. She ought to gain some weight and fill out herself…it does a wonder when you’re a bit older. She’s not old enough to have hands like that.
I usually like her style a lot, she pushes modern fashion in a big way. She wears really crazy hats by Phillip Treacy,(gaga has worn his hats too) or big over the top dresses while keeping her look tasteful and polished. She has a great stylist. However, not a big fan of this outfit…the shoes are way too much w the jacket and big puffy dress…some small pointed pumps might have been better imo…she is so sm this look is eating her alive! Not my fav…

I love the hair, but not her clothes or shoes, I have never liked that kind of shoe platform…I don’t know it just makes everyone’s legs look kind of clunky.

I like her outfit, except for the clunky shoes. I’m not into fashion, but more delicate heels might have went with the outfit better, maybe? Don’t like that huge bun on her head either. I like her body but her face has always looked old to me, older than her age. And not pretty.
In that fourth picture her head is about as long as that bobby’s, only he’s wearing a helmet. Why on earth would you put the Luxor obelisk on someone with a long-shaped face?

@thinmamma…i’m thinking very similar thoughts on her…i think she is looking rough and aged…but i LOVE those shoes!!!! i think it’s cute that so many people think it’s hard to walk in sky high heels…it’s really not!!!! i seem to only wipe out when i’m wearing flats!!!
@han my thoughts exactly. I don’t understand why she’s seen as some fashion icon. Her ensembles are wacky and weird. Yes, the Lady Gagas of the world are the same way, but SJP, you are in your 40s, and you are better than that. You don’t need to parade in a long tutu and chunky heels. Although I do have to applaud you on the classic silhouette of your jacket. That is my only favorite part of this outfit.
Never though I’d say this about SJP but that outfit is so wrong in so many different ways!!
I love SJP. She looks very “Carrie” in these pics. I agree with others that she is starting to show her age pretty badly…I do think her thinness makes it even worse! Nonetheless, she looks awesome in clothes!

SJP looked so much better when she was younger. her look was not beautiful, but she had character. i will always like her, but she IS in fact looking quite old here. love the pieces in her outfit here, just not together.

I also have a long face and I’d never put something on top of my head like that and give the illusion of more length! But hey, more power to her. I like that she’s confident enough to do so.

I love the outfit except for the shoes, which are great but not with the dress and coat, I think. And someone said something about her neck and I checked and think it looks quite youthful. Her hands look bad and overall she should gain some weight but her face and neck look good to me.

The shoes are wearing her unfortunately and with that hair, she looks like ‘The Cat In The Hat’!
I really wish she’d put about 7lbs on, it would make all the difference between looking lean and looking old. Her hands need fillers.
One word for SJP — GLOVES!!!! Jackie Kennedy wore them to hide what she perceived to be “manly” hands. SJP’s are far worse looking than Jackie’s. Yikes — too low body fat and overtraining will do it every time. Also too many years spent in the sun…
with her slight face, she does not command big glasses. and her hair-bun-thingy is bigger than her head. i like her outfit, minus the shoes.

Hmmm… where to start.. She looks elegant, classy – love the coat and dress/skirt whatever, but those shoes always make me laugh, not only are they horrid aesthetically and practically – they also make your feet look like hooves!! (Just look at the 2nd pic!) lol
Other than that..she’s fit, not a fan of the shades, hair is ok, unfortunate face…

Everyone ages-many try to stop the process, but it does occur and she looks fine. I like SJP and somehow think she can pull of outfits others can’t…not sure how she does it, but she looks great.
She really doesn’t know how to dress and definitely not for her bodytype. She always manages to make her legs look extra short. Too bad because I believe she is in good shape though a bit on the skinny side (makes her look older) and the hand.. well…

L O V E the jacket.. and i like what she tried to do with the poofy dress underneath, but as usual, the whole package is almost great – but misses the mark. And the capper was those shoes – just fug.
