Okay, thing is, white. White. Very hard to wear even if the cut is flattering, but that design is a tad matronly on top of looking like a pseudo-wedding dress. And her books, they’re terrible!

awful shoes…dress looks like Britney’s wedding dress…her hair is super cheesy, and it’s soooooo sad when these young girls already have all the obvious signs of fillers and botox….which she sure does!!!! and her make up is awful too, this look is NOT good or pretty…but pretty awful!!!

I think she looks great, she may have gained a bit in legs and arms. I disagree with Morticia, I don’t think that she has had work done on her face. She always had full cheeks and you can see subtle crow’s feet, so I don’t think that she has botox.

She looks nice, but this was such an ODD choice of an outfit for a book signing in OCTOBER. It looks as if she is going to her own bridal shower or rehearsal dinner. I would have done skinny jeans, heels, a cute tank and jacket. Or even a cute little dress with a leather bomber and shoe booties.
That looks exactly like my wedding dress, except for the short sleeves. I wouldn’t have picked this outfit for a book signing, though. But hey, there’s a photographer, there are witnesses, so maybe she’s going Dutch by combining this event with her wedding.
Lauren looks great, but I don’t love the dress.
The makeup is terrible.
Im actually fine with the dress, I quite like it to be honest. I think that the ‘up-do’ looking hair with that glitzy headband it was makes the look go bridal.
She is still fit, but just fuller than she was before.
She looks gorgeous and fit, and the COLOUR white looks awesome on her… but I don’t know, something about this dress says “bride in the civil ceremony at the court house” to me…

Stop bashing the dress, I LOVE it! Nice to see her at a normal, healthy weight, unlike some of the others from her past shows who now look like plastic skeletons.

Gorgeous,thin and pretty. I think she’s gained a little bit of weight as well and it’s made her look a little younger than in previous posts. This is her ideal. She also somehow makes a tan look good and not cheesy and dated which is a testament to her style and beauty.

Oh lol, that dress is so bad. She also has SOOO much makeup on her skin if you look closely. Why does she need so much foundation, she’s not even 25 right? She’s a pretty girl, I have always thought so, but it seems she went out of her way this time to look like doodie.
I don’t see any evidence of facial work being done on her either – and I love the dress. Being that it’s October, I would have chosen off-white. But hey, she’s wearing dark nail polish & pulls it off. Lauren Conrad looks great.

I really like her dress, though I agree, strange choice of clothing for a book signing. I’ve really been liking the lace trend, but I’m afraid if I buy it, it’s gonna get little holes in it in no time. Can’t afford top quality :-\…her body looks good.

I always think she looks so much better when she dresses in her usual simple and elegant but slightly quirky style. I’m not a fan of this, even the makeup is overdone compared to her usual look. She has such a gorgeous face though.
my god, how could anyone call her chubby? no she’s not scarily thin like most girls in hollywood seem to be, but that doesn’t make her chubby!
The dress has potential, but she wore it all wrong!! She looks like a fairy princess. She needs to rough it up a bit with some nude boots and hair down.

@Jade: there are some really cool lace t-shirts (I know, sounds weird, but they’re beautiful!) on the AA shopping site and from what I hear the quality is pretty good.

definitely think she looks thicker than usual, like she gained 5-10 pounds. it doesn’t look bad at all on her though. and i agree that the dress is cute BUT its the hair combined w the dress that make it looking bridal—she should have put her hair down in loose waves, would have made this look fresher and younger.
i dont know if i agree with the botox comments, maybe she tried it, but it could also just be that her face is chubbier.

I like Lauren and think she’s pretty, but I don’t love the dress. I find the thought that this girl is fat in any way pretty disturbing.
She is cute, but I just find her boring. That expression is so weird, very vacant. I don’t think she’s chubby at all.
I also agree she looks way too ‘fairy princess’ with that hair, would have looked much better down and tousled.
