When I read Lisa’s comment about how she’s in LOVE with the thigh gap I was gonna say how strange people can be on here, but I see someone already took care of that.

I think both Elle and Claudia are putting on weight. It must be the age….they are both starting to show their age. I still think her body is rockin, but wouldn’t want her skin from the neck up!
The individual pieces are interesting, but together, it’s half biker babe in her early twenties on bottom and then on top, grandmarmish. Doesn’t work, even on a supermodel like Elle.

I think this looks rather odd – high-end fashion clothes, heels – yet no hair or makeup. It looks to me as if she threw on what she wore out last night.
I love the fit of those pants. She often wears pants that show off her ankles, and her legs are great. She does not look old to me either.

I wore the exact same clothes to my kid’s school today. There’s nothing like leather pants to impress a class of 7 year-olds.
Sorry but I think she looks old here. This is what happens to women over 40 who are more concerned with keeping a “thigh gap” (eye roll) rather than keeping at a healthy normal weight for their age. It takes a toll on the face. If she gained 5 pounds her face would look younger…..
The whole thigh and pelvic region looks skeletal, but Elle must think this is her best feature; it’s the one she’s chosen to highlight with a flashy clothing choice.

I don’t want to bust anyone’s bubble, but I have a tigh gap and I’m as skinny as Tiger Woods is faithfull. I totally agree with sweetnsour: forget about that gap and add some natural filling to your face by gaining a few lbs. It will make for a much fresher and younger look.
I think I am about her age, 41, and I gotta say to me, she looks really old in the face. I am not that thin, so maybe that is why, but I will trade being an 8/10 size wise for 10 years off my face. It works for me!
I dress up now to take my kids to school, but am living in Amsterdam and Europe for the next 6 months, it’s definitely different here. Back home in Cali, I’d wear sweats and flip flops with a tank, here it is a whole different ballgame, but fun.
I’d wear the outfit, but with boots, the streets suck here, my heels are retired. And it’s cold-is she crazy? Her body looks good, just wish it was easier to maintain both face and body as you age.
I am in the minority and think she is trying far too hard and failing with the mismatched fabrics right down to the shoes, poor fitting jacket, over high-lighted hair etc. etc.
She has not been looking good lately at all.

I’ll be glad when this woman’s kids grow up so we don’t have to look at her in these “school run” getups anymore. Give me a damn break. The pants look ridiculous for any occasion but a night at the clubs or Halloween. For some reason, I only like the sweater in the first picture.
All of that being said, she does look to be in great shape, so kudos to her for putting in the work.

As for Elle, sorry to burst your bubble, people, she has had lots of botox. That’s the reason her face hardly moves when she talks. While I love her outfit, I think if she put on a few pounds she’d look less old, less haggard and less manly! Guess she rather opted for arse than face!
