Calling Christina “curvy” its kinda what’s wrong with the definition now. She is two calories away from “chubby” right now.
I’m pretty sure people were calling Jessica Simpson “fat” when she got to be this size.
“Curvy” I’ll accept with a bit of hesitation (large implants will grant you that), but “gorgeous” will take a bit longer to swallow. With so much of her face/hair/skin color being artificial, how would we even know?

I actually think she looks good.. under the circumstances (ie split with husband) yes she could for example lose the hair extensions but I think she looks nice.

She looked SO much smaller in the movie. Okay…A) wipe off at least a pound or two of that hideous make up please. B) Take out the cheap-looking hair extensions. C) Learn to smile normally. Anybody else ever notice that she sometimes “smiles” like she just smelled some poo like in pic 2?

she really just needs to limit the makeup, quit the fake tanning, and needs a more natural looking hair color.. she would look so much better. and also, in my opinion, lose a little weight. her weight isn’t terrible though.
At least she is covered up a bit – arms and legs. And is not showing cleavage. I think her stylist is working overtime. Considering her current shape, I think she looks decent.
I understand she may have gained weight because of the split, but I don’t think she looks good. She got biiig. She overdid it with the makeup and can someone please tell her that there are other colored lipsticks besides red?

Has anyone seen pics of her without makeup or with a more natural look? She MUST look better without the thick coating of foundation. I’d love to know if she likes the look of such dramatic makeup or if she feels like her complexion is that uneven/ problematic.

Christina is someone I’m so bored of. The platinum hair, the red lips, the caked on make-up. It’s nice to have your own distinctive look but she can switch it up once in a while. She looks like a clown and will probably regret hiding her beauty so much once it starts to fade.
The dress looks nice on her figure though.
I luv Burlesque! Its a very entertaining movie. I enjoyed the singing and dancing, and the cast is great. Christina & Cam Gigandet are hot together as Ali & Jack.
She does not look good. Her face especially looks bloated.

the hair and makeup arent too nice. i quite like her body and think some of the comments are harsh. not everyone wants to starve themselves
I don’t think her current weight is too bad and I rather like the dress but the hair and makeup situation is just awful. And everyone seems to agree on that, I don’t get how she can look in the mirror before she’s off to her movie premiere and think the garish lippie and orange foundation look anywhere near good.
She’s not looking her best. I lost a lot of respect for her sadly when she decided to leave her husband for this kid she’s with now.
She used to be tiny, but she’s a woman now, and she has that tendency to have some child bearing hips. It was can well for her depending on what she’s wearing.
She does look bloated, which leads me to believe that she may have started some medication that bloats. However, her genetics are not on her side either so it’s basically just a matter of time. We’re all twigs in our teens. But then we grow up. And out! haha

@ bd53 It’s not that short after burlesque. If you’ve worked on a major Hollywood motion picture set you’d know minimal post-production is 6 months. Yet, more likely than not, it is 9 months up to 1 year. Some movies with a lot of special effects hit the two year mark. To gain as much weight as she did between 9 months and a year is not unreasonable.
It shows how some weight gain in the face can make someone go from gorgeous to not that pretty. In Burlesque, she was so tiny and pretty… she gained a lot of weight since then. Lose the makeup and tan
i’m not going to rip on her weight gain, but i will go right ahead and rip away on how fat her face looks now…it’s really unflattering to her face…she looks bad with all that fatness to her face/neck/throat….no comment on the body…
Her body looks pretty good in my opinion… Hair, makeup and outfit are another story. I really hate red dresses with black tights.
She is revolting, and it has nothing to do with her weight.
She obviously has a different shape now than she did during her “Genie in a Bottle” days… because she was a teenager during her “Genie in a Bottle” days. She’s an adult now, and has had a baby, and I feel like this weight suits her (at least judging by these photos). Yeah, maybe the platinum hair/bright red lips are a little predictable, but it’s her “look,” and she seems proud of it.
And that dress is gorgeous!

When you scroll down and see actual beautiful girls like Carrie Underwood, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Jessica Alba, you can see how truly unattractive Christina is. She’s gross, I’m sorry. Like a blonde Snookie.

I really don’t find her weight gain that big of a deal. It’s not like she’s fat. But, she needs to tone down the makeup and get rid of the white blond hair.
She also used to be 19. She’s a woman now with a child and a divorce and she still manages to look freakin’ hot. She has always had her own look, whether that be considered with too much make-up or not. She’s still kickass.

She looked gorgeous in Burlesque, mainly because she didn’t wear as much makeup! I think she looks good here, it’s nice to see a normal looking woman for a change.
okay, i’m in the small minority with my opinion, but i think she is beautiful and her body is smoking. i don’t understand why everybody is complaining… but of course, everyone is entitled to their opinions. i just like the way christina looks.
Curvy – Yes! Gorgeous? How would we even know as she hides under pounds of make-up and nobody looks good with this hair colour. Her implants are also quite ridiculous looking. She looks old here.

She’s one of those unfortunate souls whose weight gain is VERY visable in her face, being that she has rather “usual” features (i.e. read euphemism for ugly), she benefits from a slim face to soften her features a bit.
I’ll jump on the horrid makeup bandwagon. I’m all for expressing oneself as one sees fit, but if she must persist with the retro pin up look, at least get a makeup artist who knows what she’s doing and won’t make her look like she moonlights the Kitty Ranch.
One more thing:
I believe that Christina wrapped up production on Burlesque late last year or very early this year, actually. She was heavily promoting her singles and album in the spring. Plenty of time to pack on those pounds.
The extra weight does not look good on her. And her makeup is too harsh!

wtf people..is everyone a damn hippy on this site? Its ok to doll yourself up w lots of makeup when u go out…esp if your inside or its night time…she likes the red lips and cat eyes…you have to have a porcelain look to your face to pull that off…hence, the loads of foundation…Im a makeup artist..it wont look right with your freckles and pores showing! And after being preggers, a lot of women have problems w their skin, pigmentation, blemishes…she may be one of them. I also dont think she looks terrible weight wise, we are not seeing her in person…photos and movies add pounds..she looks like she has a great waist line, her dress suits her body well, so I would say curvy not fat! I love her singing but I have to say she has never looked worse. Her face has been looking really bloated, her nose looks different, and she does look pregnant. I don’t know what happened to her.
She’s a pretty girl. I think, since trying to get away from her Dirrtyy days, she has gone to the most classic look possible, and she’s trying to get closer and closer.
Something women– famous and “regular” alike– need to realize is that there has only ever been ONE Marilyn Monroe. Trying to get her curves/hair/lips/etc. is unattainable.
Her outfit is cute for her current body shape. She just had way too much makeup on and the extensions have to go.

I don’t think her weight/body look bad at all. She should tone down the hair and makeup. I saw Burlesque (twice!) and really enjoyed it. I was surprised to see her in that with darker, more naturally toned hair and fresh, soft makeup. She looked amazing; she looked her age. Why she holds on so tightly to the cheap platinum hair and caked-on makeup is baffling. She makes herself look like an animated blow-up doll. What a shame. Underneath all the fake, she’s very pretty.

Sorry, missy, but calling Christina chubby or overweight or fat is what’s wrong with our society now. We are obviously so used to the media having told us what’s acceptable and what’s not when it comes to weight that we have a totally distorted view of a normal body image now. Christine is a healthy slim young woman who obviously thinks that there are more important things in life than being fashionably thin!
I like the dress, I think it suits her very well.

Pear & hourglass shapes ARE “curvy.” As you can see, irrespective of her weight, she has always been a rather dramatic Pear shape & is by no means a curveless Apple. An Apple shape is essentially a circle, merely one continuous curve – something Christina Aguilera certainly is not. lol
Even in her “Come On Over, Baby” video at her very thinnest back in 2000, she was hippy. She HAD curves even then & was by no means shaped like a ruler. Seriously, YouTube it.

i think it would be within her best interests to take out the horribly fake looking extensions (maybe dye it a less WHITE barbie skank color), fire her make up artist and hire one that a) will be honest with her about how terrible this much make up looks and b) not color her eyebrows in so thick (they look ridiculous) and dress in more figure flattering clothes. there’s a beautiful woman under there, she’s just covering herself in cakey make up and cheap hair.
