Wow, she looks gorgeus! I didn’t even recognise her, that fringe really did wonders for her face. I never was a fan of her but she looks really pretty here. She should continue this look.

Her face and hair are stunning!! I just can’t get over how much I love her eyes, well her makeup in general, and her hair too. I’ve nevvver been able to get bangs to look like that.
Her body is iffy though. She has a body like mine where I think there isn’t any weight loss required per se, but a boob job would work wonders! I think it’s just because she’s so flat chested that her arms and legs look too thick. The only way to look balanced with minimal in the chest area is to be be tiiiiny everywhere else.

GREAT choice of dress, it makes her body look thinner/better than it actually is, and the hairstyle and makeup does wonders for her face as well. I don’t think she’s naturally pretty, but she obviously does a good job of hiding her imperfections with her sense of style.

I don’t really see a difference in her face but I’d have to go back and look at older photos. She’s smart to wear those bangs, and while I don”t think she’s your typical beauty, I’ve always thought she was very pretty. In some pics her limbs look so bulky compared to her torso, but she looks awesome here. Flattering dress or she’s lost, I dunno.
If this is Christina Ricci then she creeps me out more that normal.

There’s nothing wrong with her face, she’s just wearing a different makeup style. She looks good, but she could work on her arms a little.

Think that she looks cute in the dress and love her hair (especially the bangs). She needs them (bangs) b/c she has such a wide, high forehead! Her waist is tiny. I think that she may have lost a bit of weight since other posts of her…but she looks so much better than when she had anorexia several years back.
She does very very slightly resemble Kelly Osbourne’s body type …BUT not too much so….just a little bit. Her arms/legs are sort of short (but she is barely 5′ tall)!
I don’t think she’s had work done. She has a REALLY big and wide forhead and covering it with bangs has changed the shape of her face considerably. Also, she has completely changed the way she does her makeup (for the better). I think that’s all the difference. Sometimes that’s all it takes.

@niCk….Christina used to have a very large rack, she has complained about it years ago, she has obviously had a major reduction…she sorta went to the opposite extreme…

@Elenne, Christina Ricci is in semi-formal attire here – therefore throwing around the word “cute” in this context is a little condescending. Ditto for someone in a bikini or looking through your man’s Playboy collection. Save “cute” for your knock-kneed bespeckled little girl dressed in jeans eating cheese fries. Ricci looks LOVELY at the very least.
The person who said she looks something like a young Kim Cattrall here stole my thought! She does. I wouldn’t have recognized her in a million years, even up close. She looks not at all like herself. I’ve always thought she’s pretty. All the way back to when she was in “Mermaids,” I remember how amazing her eyes were. I don’t love this lighter hair color on her–yet I did like her as a blond in “Sleepy Hollow.” Weird.
@niCk: I used to wear my bangs just like that, and there are a couple of tricks. You have to have them cut in a “triangle,” so they start higher on your head in the middle and then taper down at the sides (when you look down in the mirror, the part made by your bangs will look like a triangle instead of a straight line or arch). You also have to ask the stylist to trim them vertically instead of horizontally. That way, the weight is in the center and the midline, and you get that fringe-y texture on the ends. It makes them lie flat and yet have a curve shape from the side view. Very easy to style if cut correctly! I stopped wearing them because the frequent trims were too expensive, though.
She has absolutely done something to her face! She looks like a mega babe, but SO different.
**USAUSA-Why so cranky? There is nothing wrong with the word cute. And what does what she’s wearing have to do with it? She reminds me of a little doll… CUTE. Not really pretty, or sexy or beautiful, but CUTE, IMO.
That word is a whole lot better than unattractive, ugly or plain.

While she does look like she’s dropped some weight, I think that she looks different on account of clever styling. Whoever did her hair did a fantastic job. Again, she’s one of those people who has a really round face that contributes to her looking stockier/rounder than she already is. This haircut, however, frames her face in just a way that it thins her out.
Okay, looked at some older pics and must say that it’s definitely the bangs. She has a rather oddly shaped-head with a “heart” face causing her to sometimes look like an alien. Especially with her prominent eyes. Her hair stylist gave her a fringe, which completely camoflaugues that forehead. Genius. Then her makeup artist did a conservative smokey eye which actually makes her eyes appear a bit smaller. All in all, this is an excellent move.
I always thought that she was attractive and I prefer this to a conventional VS model type. Finally, she got with someone who knew how to bring that out.
I don’t think it looks like she has had work done, in my opinion its just great hair and makeup ( I love when she covers up that 10 head!!!) She seems like a star who is actually normal enough to get tons of plastic surgery, but then again this IS Hollywood and she has struggled with image issues in the past. On another note, “USAUSA” the way you came at “Elenne” was certainly a bit catty. However, I totally get what you mean. Nothing irritates me more than when I am trying to look like a sexpot and my boyfriend tells me I look “cute.” ARGHHHH!!!

face, hair and makeup all look good, but when i first saw her, i couldnt stop staring at her arms!! they look disproportionately large for her body! have they always been like that?? some weights and cardio could do wonders for them arms!
She’s gorgeous and I love her make-up.

Apart from a different hairstyle and colour and a tan there is not much difference between the pictures above and the ones from June 10th, 2010. It just goes to show what difference a fringe can make.
I’ve always loved Christina Ricci. A talented actress, great looking, great personality and not shy to be herself.
Her arms are fine and totally in proportion to her frame. You should see mine, then you know what fat arms are. I hate my arms and I’ve been working on them for years and don’t seem to be able to make them look any better (at least not in my eyes!)
Remember that scene in Confessions of a Shopaholic when Rebecca Bloomwood (i.e., Isla Fisher) had just walked into a formal affair, dressed to the nines in black couture with her hair huge and curly and looking amazing – only to be told, “You look SO CUUUUTE” by the “glamorous” Alicia Billington right upon her arrival? Exactly.
Isla Fisher is definitely cute, no question – but that situation just wasn’t the time to say it. It was a very transparent attempt at a downgrade – and actually came across as very threatened for Leslie Bibb’s character in the film.

I think she got cheek implants to make her chin look less pointy, and when you take away her black hair & large forehead (by wearing bangs) plus the more prominent cheeks, she does look completely different. When will these people learn that their individuality is what we loved? She looks like that Cheryl person from Dancing with the has-beens.
I think she looks great. I love her makeup and hair. And the dress is original but still looks good on her.
Her body looks great. Of course it would be better if her arms were a little thinner, but that’s just the way they are, and I”m sure there’s nothing she can do about them. Other than that, I think her body is lovely.
I think she looks AMAZING! however, i have always thought her face was absolutely stunning and her body was cute and sexy. Here she looks so different but still gorgeous. Wow – she used to be unique. She had beauty because her features were striking and slightly different. Who convinced her to ruin it? Mark Ryden, who used her in a ton of paintings will be devastated. She just looks like another babe now and so what? She’ll disappear into the woodwork. Congrats on a very bad choice.
You know I totally forgot that she used to have huge boobs. She did go a bit overboard with the reduction, but she looks good.

Did you guys read somewhere that she had a recent reduction, or are you just assuming because you think her breasts look smaller here? I’m hearing a lot of declarations stated as fact. She’s a C-cup, according to her. I’m guessing a 34C.
Also: it’s so funny when someone shows up with a shorter haircut that’s a lighter shade of brown, throws in a blunt bang – and everyone does the knee-jerk “she had surgery!!” lol
what happened to her face you ask? She got bangs. no one is mentioning her big forehead now. and her facial features are standing out more now.

i think she has admitted to a reduction…i may be wrong, but she was very chesty before, and no!!! this is not a “C” cup!!! and no she does not look different just because of her “bangs”…half of Rian’s previous posts on her show her wearing bangs…i think she’s had the following done, and quite tastefully mind you, i am not ripping on her for chosing some fillers/surgery….she’s had the bags removed from beneath her eyes, she’s obviously had filler in her lips, around her mouth, and fullness added to various areas of her face to soften her angles…she’s had botox also to reduce lines and “raise” certain areas around her mouth and eyes….all this in conjunction with a better hairstyle, great makeup and a tan are what make her look extremely different than ever before…if a haircut(bangs in particular) could magically transform your face completely, botox/surgery/injections would be pretty obsolete wouldn’t they??!!! she’s had work done, and it’s totally ok!!!!!!! i have botox/fillers i know what a difference they can make….once you do it, it’s extremely easy to spot on others…and i’m a huge supporter of it done properly and moderately… : ) !!!! christina looks great, but it ain’t just the bangs…
She used to have D cups when she was younger and those don’t look like Cs.
